Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh has said that she wasn’t upset when Louis Walsh made a dig at her on a recent Xtra Factor show.
The former Hear’Say member had called in to speak to the X Factor judges during the live episode, but was insulted by Louis when her line started to cut out.
She told new! magazine:
“I asked what was going on between Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh – they’d been bickering that night and Louis had been very bitchy.

Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh has hit out at Cheryl Cole for putting Cher Lloyd on the X Factor live shows.
The actress has experience of reality TV shows, she first came into the public eye in 2001 after appearing as a contestant on ITV’s talent show Popstars, where she made the final line-up for the band Hear’Say.
In her New column this week, Marsh claimed that Cole had “made some wrong choices” choosing her three finalists, saying that young Cher won’t be ‘good under pressure. She wrote:

Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh has admitted that she would love a chance to sit on the X Factor judging panel this year.
The former Pop Stars winner has asked Simon Cowell to consider her for one of the guest judging spots, while regular judge Dannii Minogue is on maternity leave.

Kym Marsh has revealed that the song Nella Fantasia, which she sang as one of her final performances on Popstar to Operastar, was by way of a tribute to her baby son Archie, who died shortly after being born prematurely last year.
Kym and partner Jamie Lomas were of course devastated to lose baby Archie last February and have experienced some tough times in the last year as they’ve battled to come to terms with their loss.
Before Kym started her performance of Nella Fantasia, she said it was dedicated to “someone very special” and left many in the audience in tears. Read more & comment »

Popstar To Operastar contestant Kym Marsh defended Katie Price and Alex Reid’s recent marriage, saying that people should stop giving Jordan such a hard time.
Kym told new! magazine:
“I’m really pleased for them. I think they are very good for each other. I said from the start of Celebrity Big Brother that Alex seemed like a nice bloke and he proved me right. I just wish everyone would stop giving Katie such a hard time, and give up on all this Team Price or Team Andre business.”

Popstar To Operastar contestant Kym Marsh has admitted that she is greatly helped each Friday night, by an encouraging pep talk from her partner Jamie Lomas.
“Jamie’s very encouraging and always gives me a bit of a pep talk before I perform, because he knows how nervous I get,” Kym told new! magazine.

Popstar to Operastar contestant Kym Marsh has insisted that her work on Coronation Street is more important to her than the ITV talent show.
Marsh, who plays Michelle Connor in the Weatherfield soap, was talking about Vanessa White’s treatment after she missed a rehearsal due to her work commitments.
