Outgoing American Idol contestant Katie Stevens has admitted that she and some of the other female contestants got very close during their time on the show. Singling out previous contestants Lacey Brown and Paige Miles, the 17 year old singer told USA Today:
Lacey Brown has admitted that she and Paige Miles shed some tears together, after she was eliminated from American Idol last week.
The 24 year old Florida girl revealed that she and AI roommate Paige (who also hails from the Sunshine State) became very close during their time on the show and will definitely stay in touch now that she’s left. In an interview with People, Lacey said:
American Idol reject Lacey Brown has revealed that she knew she would be going home this week and wasn’t at all surprised by her elimination.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday morning Lacey said:
“I woke up yesterday morning and had the strangest feeling that I was going home,”
On last night’s American idol live show Lacey Brown chose to sing Rolling Stones track ‘Ruby Tuesday’ for the judges.
We have been unsure about American Idol’s Lacey Brown over the last few weeks. Since winning her place in the top 24, her performances have been very hit and miss, so we were hoping that she managed to pull it together and impress us this week.
We still find Lacey Brown one of the more forgettable contestants on this year’s American Idol season. The fact that she likes to restore antique furniture doesn’t make her stand out anymore either, why couldn’t she have chosen a more interesting hobby?
How come the contestants you most look forward to let you down the most? We loved Lacey Brown during the audition and Hollywood stages of American Idol yet last night she came out and killed a perfectly good song.
We were delighted when the gorgeous Lacey Brown made it through to this year’s American Idol’s final 24 contestants.
