Kitty Brucknell is staying pretty tight lipped about what happened between her and Lady Gaga last weekend on The X Factor.

The 27 year old was comforted by the ‘Marry The Night’ hitmaker, after being eliminated from the ITV show and reports have varied on what they got up to in her dressing room. Some newspapers claimed they enjoyed a cup of tea together, some say they got smashed on champagne.

In an interview with Fabulous magazine, all Kitty would say was:

“We had a very special time together, she gave me fantastic advice, very personal.”

Brucknell also let slip, she has been dating her boyfriend Derek for 6 months but is taking things slowly. So slowly that he revealed recently they have barely even kissed, never mind any serious bedroom action!

The blonde wannabe was also asked about her feeling towards Misha B. She refused to answer and just gave the response:

“Hmmm”.

We sense friction!

Now we all knew that Nicole Scherzinger was hotter than a baked potato, straight off the barbecue but now we’ve got the picture to prove it.

The sultry X Factor judge has bared all in a new naked photoshoot, though there won’t be any seedy pictures for her, no these shots are very tasteful indeed.

Nicole and a whole host of other female stars have bared their bottoms for a new coffee table book named ‘Culo’, though it’s not the sort of thing we expect to sitting in the waiting room, the next time we make a trip to the dentist.

The book was the brain child of US rap star Sean Diddy Combs, Interscope record chairman Jimmy Iovine and acclaimed photographer, Raphael Mazzucco.

In Nicole’s picture, the Hawaiian-born singer has donned a lei and a traditional island headdress. She is covered in tribal tattoos and has her hair blowing freely around her face.

Unsurprisingly Lady Gaga went for a slightly more racy feel. The ‘Marry The Night’ hitmaker was shot in black and white, and wearing just underwear, pulled down her pants to reveal her toned behind.

So how do you get a butt as nice as the stars’? Well Scherzinger did give some tips on how she maintains her fabulous figure in the most recent edition of Shape magazine. After revealing that she used to count calories incessantly and jog constantly as a teenager, she says she now has a more healthy approach and explained:

“I’m more accepting of my body and have learned to really embrace it. These days it’s all about finding balance. My new motto is: ‘Stay active, eat everything in moderation, and stop being so tough on myself’.”

Lady Gaga was a little uncomfortable when questioned about Kitty Brucknell on tonight’s episode of Alan Carr’s Chatty Man.

The ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker caused quite a stir on last week’s X Factor episode, when she ran onto the stage to comfort eliminated singer Kitty Brucknell as she wept about her fate.

The newspapers later claimed that as they downed their sorrows with some wine backstage, Gaga offered Kitty the chance to duet with her this year. However, when questioned about the story, the singer admitted that her next collaboration will be with someone a little more high profile. She explained:

I don’t know, I haven’t really dueted with anyone recently and my next duet I believe will be with Elton John. I’m already working on my next album and I played him a song I wrote and he loved it.

On why she felt the need to support Kitty last weekend, the superstar confessed that she was so used to rejection herself that she had a lot of empathy for the wannabe. She added:

I felt really bad because I know how rejection feels in the business. I got signed, I got dropped, I got signed again.

That’s what the Marry The Night video is about. It’s about when I got dropped from my record label and it’s the story of what happened in a day.

Poor Kitty, we hope she isn’t too disappointed!

Lady Gaga is backing Misha B to win this year’s X Factor series, she has revealed.

The ‘Marry The Night’ hitmaker appeared on the ITV show last weekend, performing her latest single and hugging desperate wannabe Kitty brucknell when she was later eliminated.

In an interview for Alan Carr’s Chatty Man, the pop queen revealed that she thinks Kelly Rowland’s act Misha B should win, explaining:

“She has a beautiful voice.”

Gaga added:

“Everyone has a different contribution to the music industry so it will be interesting to see how they do.”

Misha is currently the bookies favourite to leave the X Factor this weekend, but Kelly is trying to change all that and before Bryan’s performance tomorrow, we will be shown footage of her and Misha crying together over their estranged parents. We imagine that she’s hoping to capture some sympathy votes for the Mancunian singer.

Lady Gaga also explained why she felt the need to comfort impersonator Kitty Bricknell on stage last weekend, and said that she empathised with the hopeful, because she has suffered ‘rejection’ so many times herself. She added:

“When she heard she was voted out, I felt really bad and terrible because I know how rejection feels in this business.”

However, while it has been claimed that the star offered to collaborate with Kitty, when asked about this on the Channel 4 show, a confused Gaga replied: “I haven’t duetted with anyone.”

Lady Gaga reportedly consoled Kitty Brucknbell after Sunday night’s X Factor, by offering to collaborate with the heartbroken wannabe.

Kitty – who had previously worked as a Gaga impersonator – was eliminated from the ITV show at the weekend, but after hearing the news, as she wept onstage, she was joined by her idol.

They pair were locked in a hug, when Gaga suggested ‘Let’s go get a drink’ and dragged the 26 year old backstage to her dressing room.

While there, it is said that the pair enjoyed a few drinks together, before the star asked Kitty to join her in a prayer.

The Sun reports that after the praying, the ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker promised the X Factor reject that she would collaborate with her on something over the next year. An insider said:

“She went on to say how she’d be on the road a lot next year and thinks there could be an opportunity for them to collaborate.”

Speaking on This Morning yesterday, Kitty claimed that Lady Gaga gave her great career advice but refused to reveal the details, saying she’d prefer to keep them private.

She did however reveal that the pair got ‘smashed’ backstage, though she looked pretty sober on The Xtra Factor to us!

Kitty Brucknell shared a bit of a love in with her idol on last night’s Xtra Factor show.

The former Gaga impersonator had just been eliminated from The X Factor and was in tears about her fate, when the Lady herself rushed onto stage and swept her up in a hug.

The pair wept together for a few minutes, before the ‘Marry The Night’ hitmaker dragged her backstage saying:

‘Let’s get a drink.’

Speaking on This Morning, Kitty admitted that they did just that and told Phillip Schofield:

“We got wrecked in the dressing room!”

However the blonde wannabe was a lot more reserved when it came to describing their conversation and as she has done in other interviews this morning, stayed tight lipped on what they actually discussed in private. She added:

We chatted a lot about my career and stuff and what I wanted to do. It was really personal to me, so I like to keep those sort of things to myself.

The most amazing part of last night’s X Factor – dare we say it? – journey, was not the live performances, was not the sing off or the elimination but was, without a doubt them moment when Lady Gaga joined Kitty Brucknell on stage for a cuddle.

The world’s most famous pop star of the moment had previously performed on the ITV show, promoting her new single ‘Marry The Night’ (watch her live performance here).

Just minutes after her appearance, Kitty Brucknell was eliminated and on leaving the show, instead of thanking her friends and family, the girl who had previously made a living as a Gaga impersonator broke into an acapella rendition of the star’s hit single ‘Born This Way.’

Afterwards, as she was comforted by Xtra Factor presenters Caroline Flack and Olly Murs, Lady Gaga herself rushed on stage to hug Kitty. The ladies both wept and the cuddle seemed to go on forever.

Gaga refused to talk to the presenters, pushing the mic away a few times, however Brucknell did get a few words out before leaving the stage with her idol and said:

I listened to your music all the way through The X Factor. You really inspired me to be a better person

Turning over a little late to The X-Factor I was left thinking, Janet Devlin’s looking a bit different. But in fact this was a repeat of Janet’s audition but a collection of this year’s most memorable auditions. As a late-comer to the party I went onto Twitter and soon discovered that the hashtag #Technicaldiffculties at the end of a people’s tweets. It transpired that there had been a power cut at the BT Tower and therefore X-Factor were running their version of the test card. Sitting through these auditions I had several thoughts such as how they messed with Johnny Robinson’s original act, how some awesome singers like Jade Richards hadn’t made it to the live shows and how fun acts like David Wilder could’ve been used to spice up this generally dull year of the singing competition. Finally, after slipping an ad break in for good measure, the glitch had been sorted and Dermot came out dancing for the third week in a row but the technical difficulties didn’t end there.

To star the show we were presented with an opening intro for those of you who may’ve been abroad for the past seven days and have just got into watch The X-Factor. We saw Frankie Cocozza’s premature but much wanted ejection from the show after he broke one of the show’s mysterious Golden Rules. Then we had the press conference to announce that one of the acts eliminated in Week One’s Twist would return in Frankie’s spot. When asked who they’d like to return most of the judges wanted another act in their category – Gary supported James, Kelly wanted the return of Amelia Lilly and Tulisa was sticking up for 2 shoes however Louis in his shrill shouty tones concurred with Kelly wanting Amelia back in the contest rather than his own act Jonjo. To be fair I don’t think any of us wanted Jonjo back a man who had no charisma and who messed up the words on many of his performances however he is a soldier and this was remembrance week so I wondered if sentimentality would creep in and he would end up getting the literal lifeline he needed not to go back to Afghanistan. In fact everybody was waiting with baited breath unless that was they happened upon the STV Website and saw that they’d already announced that Amelia Lily had received the most votes and was back in the contest before the phone lines had even closed down. This obviously prompted more fix claims from the conspiracy theorists out there, who felt Frankie’s stay in the competition was being orchestrated by producers and no via fan votes, but STV explained that a technical glitch meant that videos announcing the return of all four acts had gone out by mistake on their website.

Although this over-shadowed her return a little bit Amelia was the hit of the night belting out a very stripped down version of Queen’s The Show Must Go On. With determination to prove herself she sang in tune, a novelty in this year’s X-Factor, with real passion and connected with the lyrics. If this is a singing contest then bringing Amelia back makes sense however with two of this competition’s big characters Johnny and Frankie both gone I feel a 2 Shoes return would’ve helped to perk things up a bit as we roll towards the final. Amelia’s performance eclipsed everything that had gone before it which wasn’t that hard on a surprisingly drab Lady Gaga Vs. Queen week in which most of the songs and inexplicably been changed obviously because they weren’t good enough the first time around.

To be fair Kitty Brucknell had a little bit of a right to be annoyed with the fact she couldn’t sing a Lady Gaga song as she does indeed impersonate the woman herself. However after being denied the opportunity to sing Born this Way there wasn’t any other Gaga song that suited her enough so she was given a Queen song instead that being Don’t Stop Me Now. This week Kitty came out as a dominatrix approximation of Britannia flanked by four men in leather playing the horses towing her chariot. The vocals here just were a bit poor and even Kitty failed to embrace the crazy this week as she often does. I’m a big fan of Kitty’s but I have to judge her like I do the other acts and this week she fell short for me and for once she probably does deserve her place in the Bottom Two. But there is a chance Kitty might be saved as we saw her dad prancing round the streets of Cheltenham clad with a sandwich board with his daughter’s face on it furiously badgering people to vote for her and it would be funny if Operation Kitty actually does work.

So what of the competitor who was actually granted the right to sing Born this Way? That was of course Miss Misha B who was this week dressed up in a shiny purple top which wouldn’t look out of place in a bad 1980s sci-fi film. I think if Misha had sung the song the way it was intended then it would’ve been another show stopping performance but as it was it all felt a little disjointed and a little weird when she was joined on stage by what looked like an experimental marching band complete with drummers who accompanied the dancing portion of the song. For the first time Misha looked a little uncomfortable and it almost seemed like she’d forgotten the words covering this up by doing her trademark warbling. It’s not if the judges noticed though as it was praise all round with Misha getting the Louis Walsh, you remind me of… treatment this week either comparing her to Jackie Chan or Chaka Khan as he was shouting so much I couldn’t really hear which one he said. Thankfully Marcus was off the hook with the Walsh comparisons this week but this was due to the fact he performed in a similar style to last week with the whole do-wop, cut-price Bruno Mars shtick this time while singing Another One Bites the Dust. This isn’t a knock against Marcus at the end of the day he’s just doing as he’s told but I agree with the female judges this was quite a clinical performance that being said it was definitely the night’s best after Amelia.

Marcus’ teammate in the boys category, Craig went back to his ballads again after a week doing up-tempo Gary Barlow dance moves. He followed the trend of slowed-down Gaga tracks with his version of Paparazzi accompanied by a couple of musicians and that was about it. I have to say I’ve never really warmed to Craig and never made a connection with him and this performance did nothing for me. Apparently Craig wasn’t at his best this week as he’s been a bit poorly I’m guessing it may be Chicken Chow Mein and Chips withdrawal. Janet also failed to deliver even though she went back to her stripped back Ellie Goulding voice accompanied by a piano and a couple of string musicians she warbled her way through Somebody to Love and got backlash from Gary Barlow who claimed he was bored by it. I have to agree with the man here the song just didn’t go anywhere and left me feeling worried for her place in the contest. The only person who was full of praise for everything this week was in fact Louis who was sticking up for Janet full force after he was a bit of belligerent sod last somebody must’ve dropped a few happy pills into his cup before the show began.

And finally to Little Mix the only group left in the competition and a girl group at that in their opening VT we were lead to believe that Tulisa is wholly responsible for getting Little Mix to where they are. We saw all the girls pop round to Tulisa’s for a bit of goat curry an event for which the camera crew just happened to show up for it is as if Tulisa is trying to prove that she’s more of a hands-on judge than Cheryl Cole ever was. We also saw this week that Jessie was struggling in rehearsals and I thought we’d see her exit and the return of Ashford to take her place in the group and see him become the first person to ever be in three groups during an X-Factor season. But this was not to be the case and Jessie joined the rest of the girls for their mash-up of Radio Gaga and Telephone. Little Mix aren’t the best singers in the world and the harmonies can be a little off but I feel that every week they go out on the stage and bring a ton of enthusiasm and passion to their performances and I think that’s every bit as important as vocal ability in a competition like X-Factor. And it wouldn’t be a Little Mix outing without the dodgy fashion choices this week the accessory of choice seemed to be necklaces with phrases such as OMG! and NOW on them plus one of them was wearing the most confrontational skirts I’ve ever seen that simply had the phrase ‘what are you looking at?’ printed on it. Despite the usual energy the girls insert into their songs Gary told them they were becoming a bit predictable but I felt this was a bit rich coming from the man who mentors Craig Colton.

In a week in which X-Factor tried to tone down the controversy following all the Frankie nonsense the technical glitches that plagued the show prevented that from happening couple that with a truly uninspiring night of dull songs and substandard rearrangements and it was almost a disastrous affair.
Thankfully Amelia came back and saved the day and truly marked herself out as a contender which did for the first time make me wonder if an act can come in at this stage in the contest and actually win the thing.

View the original post X Factor Lady Gaga Week Six Review: Fix claims and #Technicaldifficulties on Unreality TV

Misha B took to Twitter this week, in a bid to deflect attention from the whole Frankie Cocozza scandal and announced that this week’s X Factor theme would be Lady Gaga vs Queen.

They are two acts that are hard to follow and we love the fact that producers have mixed up the potential for contestants to perform huge classic numbers, with insanely popular and current tracks on Saturday night’s show. In fact, this is probably our favourite theme so far.

All six normal contestants will perform the songs as listed below, but one previously eliminated act will also make their big return.

Amelia Lily, James Michael, Jonjo Kerr or 2 Shoes will be voted back onto the show during the evening and at the end of the episode, will get to sing the Queen classic ‘The Show Must Go On.’

The song choices have been confirmed and are listed below:

Marcus Collins – Another One Bites The Dust by Queen

Craig Colton – Paparazzi by Lady Gaga

Misha B – Born This Way by Lady Gaga

Kitty Brucknell – Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen

Janet Devlin – Somebody To Love by Queen

Little Mix – Telephone/Radio Gaga mashup

Comeback Contestant – The Show Must Go On by Queen

November 13th X Factor results show looks set to be a good one!

Insiders have claimed that boyband One Direction will return to the stage, less than a year after they lost the final to Matt Cardle. They had the last laugh though, breaking sales records and landing a number one with their debut single ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ earlier in the year, while his – ‘Run For Your Life’ – charted in the sixth spot.

For their big X Factor comeback, One Direction will perform their second single “Gotta Be You,” which will be released on the same day.

Lady Gaga will also give a live performance on the hour long episode, and is set to perform Marry the Night, which will be released as the fifth single from her second studio album, Born This Way.

It will be a return to form for the ITV show and bosses will no doubt be hoping that it helps them continue to rule Sunday night television, after they led the way with a peak of fourteen million people tuning in for their last results show.
