The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Pope is hoping to join her former co-star Lauren Goodger – who’s starring in the new series of Dancing on Ice – in sunny Dubai to celebrate the New Year.

Bang Showbiz report that Ms Pope said, “I’d like to go on holiday. I’d love to go to Dubai for a few days, Lauren is going so maybe a little trip there.

“It is such an amazing place. It’s always nice and sunny.”

It seems that The Only Way Is Essex star, Chloe Simms, rather liked dressing up as Barbie Girl during the recent live charity TOWIE episode, as she has had all her hair dyed blonde, as the Daily mail reports.

Fans of the hit ITV2 reality show would have seen Chloe, dressed in a skimpy pink swim suit, dancing and singing (albeit horribly) along to the 90′s Aqua hit, Barbie Girl, with the help of her BFF James ‘Diags’ Bennewith, last Monday evening.

It seems that Joey Essex isn’t the only TOWIE cast member Olympic diver, Tom Daley has set his sights on, as he is rumoured to be dating Lauren Pope.

We reported earlier this month that Joey, who is currently dating his The Only Way is Essex co-star, Sam Faiers, is set to take part in a new Channel 4 reality diving show, Splash, which is being hosted by the Olympian.

Sunday night saw the build-up to the first ever live event begin with Arg gathering all the crew together to announce that he was planning on hosting a charity cabaret evening to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.

The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Pope has revealed that she had no idea her ex-boyfriend, Kirk Norcross, was returning to the show this series, and only found out when watching the first episode at home with her friends!

Fans of the hit ITV2 reality show will know that Pope and Norcross got together in series two after he dumped former co-star, Amy Childs to be with the aspiring DJ. They continued to see each other on and off until Kirk left the show last year, after going through his and hers nose jobs, and then a very messy break up.

The Only Way Is Essex star, Lauren Pope has revealed that she finds it hard to be in TOWIE as other people in the industry don’t take the cast of the reality show seriously.

Lauren, who is an aspiring DJ, has been trying to expand her profession by taking a music production course. She has already been DJ’ing for the last six years, with many of her sets featuring in the hit ITV2 show, but feels that her reality star status may actually be hindering her career, rather than helping it.

After what feels like life long feud between current and former The Only Way Is Essex stars, Lucy Mecklenburgh and Amy Childs, Lauren Pope has now come forward to back up Lucy’s claims that the show no longer needs Amy.

Amy left The Only Way Of Essex at the end of series two to peruse other projects, all of which were about as successful as James Argent and Gemma Collins relationship, and personal training, but back in those times the show had a strict ‘no returns’ policy for quitting members of cast.

Sunday nights are totally complete with a 10pm instalment of The Only Way Is Essex, and last night’s did not disappoint, with Arg’s online dating antics, Cara’s cellulite surgery and Lydia’s desperation to get married!

First of all came Kirk Norcross’ bizarre declaration that he will not take Lauren Pope back. This is particularly bizarre as the reason he has gone off her is because when he tried to play nice with her last week (hoping for reconciliation) she refused the offer whilst basically slating him to the ground.

It looked rather dubious at the start, with the focus on Kirk and Joey playing a rather poor game of golf whilst Kirk declared he wants to find the love of his life, commenting: “I’ve had enough of messing around with girls, you know what I mean? I like naturally pretty girls.”
