Denise Van Outen has spoken about her recent wedding with Any Dream Will Do winner, Lee Mead.

The pair got married on a beach in the Seychelles in April. They kept it completely private with only 17 friends and close family members.

“Everyone thought I’d want a big thing, but I know when things are meant to be kept private,” she told Grazia magazine.

Last month Denise and Any Dream Will Do winner Lee jetted off to the Seychelles last month, where they got married with just twenty of their nearest and dearest in attendance. However Denise told The Mirror that they intend to have a second wedding in their new home in Kent for the rest of their friends and family.

Lee Mead has admitted that he has no plans to watch Gareth Gates as he reprises his role in the West End show ‘Joseph.’

Lee landed the role when he won BBC reality TV show ‘Any Dream Will Do’, Gates replaced Mead earlier this year.

“I don’t think it’d be fair for him to have me in the audience checking out his performance,” Mead told Celebs On Sunday magazine.

So I admit that I am loving Sky One’s ‘Hairspray The High School Musical’, mostly because I would have so loved to do what they are doing as a teenager, but somehow I can’t see Denise Van Outen in a West Belfast grammar school!

“I’m not hiding our relationship, but I don’t want to be a celebrity couple,” Denise told Celebs on Sunday. “I don’t want to make money out of us being together.

“We’ve been asked about advertising his ‘n’ hers mobile phones. People have even started asking if we’d do a fly-on-the-wall documentary and I’m like: ‘No!’ If I ever got married I’d never sell my wedding.”

Denise revealed:

“We kept it quiet – but not that quiet. We were kissing and walking down the street holding hands. He was coming to see me on stage when I was in Rent. I couldn’t believe no one found out earlier.

“But it was a bit sneaky as I’m always out with the Joseph boys, they were my smoke screen.

“And before you ask, I’m not telling you if he wears his dreamcoat in bed!”

I wouldn’t care what he wore in bed! It’s not the clothes that are important if you know what I mean!

As if it wasn’t bad enough that last week’s preview was ruined by a massive technical problem, leaving the cast with no set or props, last night’s opening show had to be halted once again due tgo a problem with the revolving stage.

Here’s hoping the show goes better than last weeks preview, when due to a technical hitch, the second half of the show was performed with no set, lights or props!

Lee Mead: Any Dream Will DoLee Mead faces another nail-biting competition this weekend as his recording of Any Dream Will Do for BBC Children in Need makes its bid for the top of the UK charts.

His chart nemesis is Rihanna, whose single Umbrella has dominated the top spot for five consecutive weeks, but Lee has fellow Any Dream Will Do finalists Keith Jack and Lewis Bradley in his corner, singing on the CD bonus track Close Every Door.
