Lee Otway has kissed and told his story to The Mirror this week, as he admitted to a bit of passionate contact with fellow Love Island contestant Kate Lawler.

Lee told the Mirror: “Kate came back to my hotel when we left the Island and we had a bit of a kiss and a cuddle.

“But it’s between me and her exactly what happened. I’m a gentleman but it was a really nice experience.

“The old Lee would have just jumped in feet first with Kate but I’ve changed. I’ll start off just mates and let you know in a few weeks of there’s something there.�

Lee Otway has become the latest celebrity to leave Love Island, and although he looked upset to be leaving, at leats he will finally be reunited with his isloand love, Colleen Shannon.

The Love Island resort may be a more boring place without little Lee Otway, but at least it will be more peaceful.

Brendan can finally relax a bit without being constantly wound up by messy Lee, and everyones eardrums will be grateful for the break from Lees incessant singing.

Bye Bye Lee!

It was as if the boys had been granted all their wishes at once!

They won the daily decider and were treated to an afternoon booze and beautiful ladies upon a luxury yacht. However on the way back to the resort, in a top class limousine, Brendan Cole and Lee Otway kicked off into yet another fiery argument.

Fuelled by alchohol the pair began to square upto one another and all at once fists began to fly.

Things certainly seem to be hotting up in the Love Island camp. Chris and Colleen have been seen getting hot and heavy over the last few days, Callum and Bianca certainly seem to be getting on like a house on fire, and now it seems like Lee might finally find love!

Today Kate admitted in the camp that she was secretly lusting after Lee and not far away, Lee was speaking of his feelings for Big Brother winner Kate.

Poor Sophie is still single….I wonder why????

In a bid to reinvent himself after his huge knock back from playboy bunny Colleen Shannon, former Hollyoaks star Lee Otway has shorn his locks.

As he was tonight informed that he was safe from eviction from Love Island I gasped in surprise to see his shiny baldy scalp gleaming in the sunlight. With his new hairdo, he does not look dissimilar to Island sex pest Paul Danan.

It definitely makes him look more manly and definitely more hetrosexual. I think he should keep it that way.

“Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned”, would that make Lee Otway a woman then?

Last night saw Lee running around the Love Island camp, kicking screaming and swearing at fellow celebrities, after finding out that Colleen Shannon doesn’t actually fancy him.

Love Island producers got all Big Brother last night, and introduced a twist that no one would have seen coming. While the boys were having a lads night, and the girls were enjoying a pyjama party, Love Island bosses decided to beam portions of the girls chat onto a TV screen in the boys room. Unfortunately for Colleen, they happened to be chatting about her lack of feelings for Lee.

Colleen confessed: “I just can’t let it go on any longer, I just feel like I’m in sixth grade. I have to go and tell someone I just want to be friends because it’s not like in the outside world where you can just get a call and then say ‘Can I call you back?’”

Devastated Lee burst into tears and wailed “I feel like a right little girl in front of you lot.�

As the boys made to rejoin the girls, Brendan hurriedly warned Colleen about what Lee had heard.

Colleen followed him and exclaimed

“I think you’re the greatest but we’re just better as friends,� she offered. �I was thinking of us being together and trying to see if we were just friends or if it could be something romantic.�

But an angry Lee spat: “F*** you Colleen. You should have said that to me instead of leading me on. It’s not fair. You’ve f***ed with my feelings and f***ed with my head. I hope you know you’ll never meet a guy like me who’ll do anything for you.

“You’re someone I’ve invested a lot of feelings in, who I thought I had a special bond with.�

Lee flew into a rage, kicking a tree in the process, before storming into the Beach Hut and smashing up a £3,000 microphone, hurling things at the screen and then finally threatening to leave!

With any luck he will be evicted tonight, his puppy dog eyes are starting to bother me!

No sooner had Paul arrived on Love Island than he managed to start trouble. He put Leo’s back up by chatting up Bianca Gascoigne, who was widely acknowledged as ‘Leo’s Bird’.

But it seems as though Paul and Leo are not the only two boys chasing after Biancas hand.

After having to watch Bianca and Leo share a bed yesterday, little Lee Otway made his way to the beach hut delcaring:

“I just want to tell her how I feel but it’s difficult, She thinks I’m a good friend, a funny, daft, sweet lad that she knows and probably thinks of Leo as this hunky, good looking, charming and exciting guy.

“She said she would give me a kiss goodnight and she does make the effort but I don’t think she likes me in that way, but I’d love it if she did. I do really want to tell her and it’s hard watching her with Leo but I suppose that’s the name of the game.

“I find myself looking over and glancing at them both and wondering if they’ve kissed yet. I shouldn’t really but I can’t help it. Maybe if we were in the Love Shack or in bed one night, I could mention it to her then.”

Today while chatting about the island ladies Steve-O commented:

That Bianca is rad,�

“I dig her,� added Paul Danan.

So out of seven males on the island at least 4 are hankering after Miss Gascoigne, poor Sophie won’t be happy!

Lil’ Lee got a bit emotional this evening at the prospect of being kicked off Love Island, and decided to write a song in honour of the Love Island contestants.

I fought back tears (of laughter) as Lee crooned the song to Bianca Gascoigne. The basic gist was we started out as 11, now we’re going to be 10 and oh we’ve shared some good times and become really close in the last week!

That wasn’t the worst of it, though. Oh no.

Didn’t Lee think it would be a good idea to sing it to everybody at the dinner table? “Ay-oop everybody, I was going to make a speech or write a poem or summat, but I decided to write this song instead….”

My skin was crawling like Paul Danaan had walked into the room…

The problem is, wee Bombhead’s the youngest of the group. The odds are stacked against him. So why would he choose to shoot himself in the foot like that? Or was this another stab at the Soapstar Superstar thing? I don’t see Lee as a pop star, do you?

If anybody managed to get the lyrics to Lee’s masterpiece, please post them so I can cringe one more time….

It was crunch time this evening on Love Island as Alicia Douvall, Chris Brosnan and Colleen Shannon were selected for eviction.

Panic started to set in when the contestants were told that they would make the final decision who would be evicted. As the first part of the show wrapped, we could hear some of the contestants protesting that they wouldn’t nominate.

When the show came back on, the show producers had persuaded the group that they had to vote, but at the same time Alicia (sensing the axe falling?) walked off the set and refused to come back on!

Patrick Kielty asked the group to reveal their nominations. Although a few of them refused to nominate, those who did chose Alicia for the chop, so her instincts may have been right. Shane Lynch and Kelly Bryan decided not to nominate, and were told that all nominations were to be done this way. Lee “Bombhead” Otway chirped up that he didn’t want to and that the group were a team.

So, Alicia’s gone, and Love Island seems to be taking on the evilness of Big Brother and the nasty tasks of I’m A Celebrity - will this stir tensions within the group? I hope so!

Maybe this should be called Numbskull Island. Our intrepid islanders were given another task to identify famous faces…….and did just as badly as in the map task a few days ago!

Embarrassingly, the love-seeking celebs failed to recognize virtually all the photos given to them, from Tony Blair (Colleen: Is that our president?) to Abraham Lincoln (Lee: Is that Darwin?). Things got a little tense as Kelle Bryan stood up to Alicia Douvall for taking the task too seriously and ridiculing people for not knowing the answers. In the end, the competition was between Kelle and Victoria Hervey, with Kelle ultimately winning. She and her partner Brendan received chocolate ice-cream as a reward (presumably from show sponsors Bounty - clever!)

Alicia (or Jackie Stallone Junior as we call her about the house) was given the job of making dinner, managed to nick herself with a knife and proceeded to spend a wee while hamming it up for the cameras. Unconvincingly, I might add. Thank God she’s not an actress!

In other news, I’m feeling slightly sorry for Lee Otway, who is desperate to get his leg over (anyone), but has been rejected by Victoria Hervey. He just looks like a horny kid who stowed away on the boat. I read on the Love Island website that he’d have no problem ‘bonking’ on screen. Good luck Lee - just need a bonkee to do it with, eh?

He is most famous for playing the role of David “Bombhead” Burke in the British soap opera Hollyoaks, from 2001 until 2005. He has also appeared in Stars in Their Eyes, Abbamania 2 and was a contestant in the ITV reality singing competition Soapstar Superstar.

In Hollyoaks Lee played Bombhead. He searched high and low for his dad and finally left in 2005 after finding his clown dad and deciding to join the circus with him.

In 2006, The Sun reported that he appeared in a sex video with a model.

Singing Career

Lee Otway has said himself he sees him as a singer rather than an actor. He won as Richard Marx on Celebrity Stars In Their Eyes, and done extremely well in Soapstar Superstar due to his large fanbase. Lee has said he wouldn’t mind having a career as a professional singer, and is considering it, and he has just recently signed a recording deal with Soapstar Superstar judge Billy Sammeth.

I can see why they took the word ‘celebrity’ out of the title this year. They should have named it..

“So someone in your family is famous, come and get a tropical shag”
