This year’s X Factor contestants will be forced to share the spotlight with a number of former stars of the show it has been revealed.
Show boss Simon Cowell has invited no less than seven stars who shot to fame on the ITV series back to perform on the live episodes, and four of them are former winners.
Matt Cardle – who won last year – will perform his debut single, which was written by new judge Gary Barlow, in October, Rebecca Ferguson – who finished in second place last year – will also be back.

Leona Lewis gave a stunning live performance on tonight’s first episode of Red Or Black.
The gameshow launched on ITV1 this evening and bringing in the series, the former X Factor winner sang her new single ‘Collide’ before taking part in one of the challenges.

Leona Lewis has admitted that bosses at her record label are worried about how her new album will be received.
The former X Factor winner promises a whole new sound from her third studio album ‘Glassheart’ and has collaborated with stars such as Ne-Yo, Ryan Tedder and Naughty Boy on the record.

It has been reported that the SYCO boss will spend a whopping £100,000 on the staging of her big TV comeback, on his new series Red Or Black later this month.

It should have been an exciting time for Leona Lewis. She is about to launch her third album after a long break from being in the public eye, but just as she started promoting it’s lead single, she ran into copyright problems.
We recently reported that Swedish music producer DJ Avicii had claimed that Lewis’ new song ‘Collide’ ripped off one of his tracks and insisted that record label SYCO had sampled him in this manner without permission or payment.
However, despite the threat of legal action from the musician and his label Ministry Of Sound, SYCO went ahead and started casting for it’s music video last week.7

Leona Lewis has claimed that she wouldn’t have achieved the fame she has today, had it not have been for the constant support given to her by her loving mother.
The former X Factor winner is on the brink of releasing her third album and said that her mum Maria has made everything possible for her, as it was her that encouraged the 26 year old performer to follow her dreams.

Leona Lewis doesn’t seem to be too worried about claims that she illegally used someone else’s work on her new single Collide.
It had been thought that the release of the new track would be postponed or cancelled, after Swedish music producer DJ Avicii hit out at the X Factor winner and her label SYCO, accusing them of willingly ripping off his dance track ‘Fade Into Darkness’ on the song.
He and his label Ministry Of Sound have reportedly started legal action against Simon Cowell’s record company, however it’s full steam ahead for Leona and her team are currently casting for her new music video.

Swedish music producer DJ Avicii has hit out at SYCO, after they denied reports that they had willingly ripped off his dance track ‘Fade Into Darkness’.
The instrumental section of the song is used as a backing track on Leona Lewis’ new single ‘Collide,’ but after his record label Ministry Of Sound accused Simon Cowell’s company of using the music without his permission, their spokespeople insisted he had agreed to them sampling his track.

Leona Lewis was oh so excited about her comeback single and now it seems that the track may not even get a full release.
The track, titled ‘Collide’ was given it’s first airplay on Scott Mills’ Radio 1 show yesterday and was supposed to mark a change in direction for the former X Factor winner. It was a move from power ballads to the more commercial dance market, however within hours of the single being played, Ministry Of Sound had started legal proceedings against Simon Cowell’s record label, claiming that it ripped off an instrumental section from Swedish DJ Avicii’s track ‘Penguin’.

The Sun today reports that former X Factor victor Leona Lewis is trying to move away from her trademark ballads and into a new music genre…
So to that end, she’s working with famed “grime” producer, Naughty Boy, who’s worked with the likes of Chipmunk, Tinchy Stryder, Griminal and Dot Rotten.
