Leona Lewis has announced that her second album titled ‘ECHO’ will be released on November 16th on Syco Music. Leona took the music world by storm with the release of her 2007 debut album Spirit selling over 6 million copies worldwide – It earned four Brit Award nominations and three Grammy nominations, making it the best selling album of 2007 and 2008 in the UK and the US respectively.
Former X Factor winner, Leona Lewis, is said to be considering relocating to the UK after becoming sick of the celebrity lifestyle.
According to Contactmusic, the songstress is yearning for a quieter life in London with her boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa.
An unidentified source said: “Career-wise, Leona’s dreams have come true. But she doesn’t really seem to socialise in Los Angeles because she misses Lou so much. I think she wasn’t quite aware how different her life would become.
VH1 have finally decided to revive their Diva extravaganza and our very own Leona Lewis is set to perform on the show.
The last Diva show aired in 2004 and my personal favourite was 1998 (see the wondrous clip above) which featured Mariah Carey, Shania Twain, Celine Dion, Gloria Estefan, Aretha Franklin and Carole King. The new reincarnation will star , Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis, and Miley Cyrus, with more singers to be announced closer to the time.
Leona Lewis has claimed that her and her boyfriends relationship is stronger than ever, despite her recent stay in LA.
The former X Factor winner told More magazine: “I’m glad to be home, I missed Lou when I was in Los Angeles. Long-distance relationships don’t faze me, though. We’re stronger than ever as we’ve been together so long.
“With email and texting, you still keep in touch from a distance. Everybody knows I’m just a phonecall away and that they can reach me if they need to. And when I do get time off, it tends to be in blocks.”
X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has arrived in LA today and is beginning work on her debut album.
After finishing on the recent X Factor tour, Burke is expected to spend the next two months in the States working on her album, trying to make it every bit as good as Leona’s first. Simon recently predicted that Alexandra would be just as big a star as Leona once her album is released.
The Sunday Mirror has reported that Burke will begin by teaming up with music producer Red One, who has recently collaborated with Akon and Lady GaGa.
Simon Cowell has insisted that last years X Factor winner had the potential to be as big a star as previous winner Leona Lewis.
“When you have someone with a life story like that and you get to know them and they’re talented, you hope they do well – no one else was giving her a chance,” he told The Sun.
Former X factor winner, Leon Jackson has admitted that he is finding it hard to keep up with other winners, Alexandra Burke and Leona Lewis but blames their wider vocal range and sense of style for the chasm between them.
Leon, this year, became the first ever X Factor winner to miss out on the number one spot with their debut album whilst Alexandra Burke broke all sorts of British and European records after her Christmas single exceeded all expectations.

Leona Lewis has revealed that she plans to adopt a baby when she is older.
The X Factor winner’s decision was influenced by a recent visit to some African orphanages. Leona said she was so affected by the awful conditions that she saw there, that she wanted to “take home all the kids”.
According to WENN, Lewis said: “I definitely plan to adopt. My mum was a social worker and my dad was a youth offender officer, so I know that there are a lot of kids out there that need to be fostered and adopted.
