Lewis Hamilton has reportedly asked his girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger to drop out of this year’s X Factor series, it has been reported.
The Formula 1 racing driver has been dating the brunette beauty for more than four years and both stars have previously admitted that very often their careers can get in the way of their relationship.
Fans of F1 will of course know that this weekend’s qualifies in Melbourne were initially dogged by bad weather, but none of it dampened driver Lewis Hamilton’s spirits as he – sans girlfriend and X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger – took to the track on Sunday morning.
However, although Nicole recently told Capital FM that Lewis was a great singer who had aspirations in the music industry, while speaking to The Sun this weekend, Lewis has revealed that the only tracks he’s interested in are ones on which he can lay down some rubber.

Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that she would like to make some sweet music with her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.
The handsome Formula 1 star is known for his great driving skills, so we can’t really imagine him crooning into a microphone or carrying out one of Nic’s sexy styled dance routines but the brunette beauty has insisted that her man is very talented in the musical department and it’s a side of him she wants to showcase in the very near future.

As fans of X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger may recall, a few weeks ago, she made headlines when she was spotted apparently snogging rapper Chris Brown in a US nightclub…
Pictures of the two locking lips appeared on dozens of websites and in newspapers and magazines across the world, and fuel was added to the fire when it was later revealed that when the pic was taken, Nicole and her F1 driver boyfriend Lewis Hamilton were “on a break.”
But in today’s Sun, Nicole has set the record straight over the kiss, saying it was “complete dross” to suggest that it was anything more than a friendly kiss between old friends.
She also exclusively told the paper how difficult it is to maintain a long distance relationship – she and Lewis are of course very often on opposite sides of the globe – but she added that it can work, and it can be worth the effort, despite the heartache it sometimes causes.

As we reported a couple of weeks ago, F1 driver Lewis Hamilton was reportedly “fuming” when pictures of his girlfriend, X Factor judge, Nicole Scherzinger snogging rapper Chris Brown appeared on US websites.
However, it’s been reported today that when Nicole had her “encounter” with Brown, it was after Lewis had told her he wanted a break from their relationship because he was finding their often long-distance love affair difficult to cope with.
So with cries of Ross from Friends’ famous line “We were on a break!” ringing in his ears, Lewis had what The Sun describes as a “crisis meeting” with Nicole to talk about their relationship, after which they decided to give their romance another go.

It’s been reported today that Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton was left “fuming” after several media websites posted pictures of his girlfriend, X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger, snogging bad boy rapper Chris Brown.
The pictures were apparently taken at the celeb hangout Supperclub, and when they surfaced, one onlooker said, “It was unbelievable. They were all over each other like teenagers.
“They tried staying in the shadows, but it was pretty obvious what was going on.
“Neither of them seemed to give their partners a second thought.
“If I was Lewis I’d never speak to her again.”

Nicole Scherzinger is said to have caused another fuss at the X Factor judges’ houses, when she delayed filming so she could spend time with her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.
We reported yesterday that the brunette beauty had been at the centre of a furore, after other guests at her five star luxury hotel in Dubai complained when producers spent 90 minutes filming her entrance in a speed boat, and as a result they were denied access to the harbour and were unable to moor their vehicles.
Insiders say Nicole also caused an upset before she even reached Dubai, when she insisted on going on a date with her racing car boyfriend and therefore had to get a later flight out of London, while the crew all waited for her arrival.
