Fans of The X Factor have hit out at show bosses, for dedicating so much to time to an obviously vulnerable woman, having a bit of a breakdown on Sunday night’s show.
Ceri Rees, 54, made her fourth attempt to make the bootcamp stage of the ITV series, claiming that it was Simon Cowell’s fault she had never made it past the judges rounds before.

Lily Allen has once again denied rumours that she will be joining the judging panel of The X Factor.
It had been rumoured that the ‘Smile’ hitmaker would be replacing Cheryl Cole on the ITV show, after the former Girls Aloud singer was confirmed to have landed a job on the US version and announced her decision to step down from the UK series.
However, Lily has now insisted that she has no intention of taking a role on the reality TV show and said that the only way she could be persuaded to join Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue in their hunt for a talented new singer, is if Simon Cowell threatened to “hang, draw and quarter” her.

Louis Walsh has admitted that he has not yet been signed up for this year’s X Factor series but approves of rumours that Simon Cowell is considering both Lily Allen and Gary Barlow as judges.
The Irish music manager – who has been at Simon’s side at the show’s judging table for all of it’s seven series – revealed that he has no idea who will be on the panel if Cowell and Cheryl Cole both leave to take a place on the American version but revealed that he would like to return and judge on the show alongside Dannii Minogue, who is also yet to be confirmed.

Lily Allen has denied reports that she is in talks with Simon Cowell about joining his X factor judging panel.
Newspapers had claimed that the ‘It’s Not Fair’ singer was 80% sure to be joining the lineup for the ITV reality TV show, when Cowell leaves for his American version later this year.
However, she denies speaking to anyone about the job and took to Twitter yesterday to set the record straight.

Lily Allen and Gary Barlow have become the latest names in the X Factor frame.
Insiders told The Daily Mail that Simon Cowell is keen to get the lineup for the UK series finalised asap, after all the celebrity judging rounds begin next month and he is said to love the idea of hiring loud mouthed Lily and Take That’s musical genius for the ITV talent show.

Pop star Lily Allen has leapt to the defense of X Factor finalist Cher Lloyd who is embroiled in a Twitter row with News of the World journalist Dan Wooton.
Celebrity AOL state that Lily stepped into the argument between Lloyd and Wooton after she read tweets that went back and forth between the pair…
In one tweet, Wooton wrote that Cher would be “begging to be written about in a few months.”
Lily then tweeted, “You’re a grown man for christ’s sake. she is essentially a child.
“Give the poor thing a break. I imagine she gets enough s**t from kids her own age,grown ups need not pile in.
“So she’s going through a phase, give her a break (sic).”

Lily Allen is reportedly in talks with Simon Cowell about joining his all new X Factor panel.
The “Not Fair” singer is well known for her mouthy ways and tendency to speak her mind no matter what and Cowell is hoping she will step in and replace Cheryl Cole, when she joins him on the US X Factor later this year.
Lily is currently writing the score for ‘Bridget Jones The Musical’ and insiders say that although flattered to be asked, she is playing very hard to get and refusing to commit to the ITV show just yet.

Lily Allen has denied reports that she will be judging on this year’s X factor series.
Sources had claimed that the ‘The Fear’ singer would be joining Geri Hallwell, Natalie Imbruglia and Katy Perry as a stand in for pregnant Dannii Minogue in the nationwide auditions. Many had wondered how this would work, as permanent judge Cheryl Cole and Lily have often been openly hostile towards each other.

Cheryl Cole has called Lily Allen a “little girl” after they finally met for the first time.
The X Factor judge told Glamour: “I met Lily for the first time last week. I gave her a hug and said, ‘Nice to meet you’. To which she said, ‘There is no beef’.
