Lily Allen has chosen to perform her new single on Strictly Come Dancing, instead of ITV’s X Factor.
The Bee Gees will sing on next Saturday’s live show, while Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey and Better Midler may also show up during the series.
Jade Ewen is trying to raise her profile by stirring up a feud with fiery popstar, Lily Allen.
The former Eurovision singer replaced Keisha Buchanan in the Sugababes earlier this week. In an interview with Metro she has slagged Lily off for slagging people off. Seems a tad hypocritical to me!
Ewen said: “I don’t really like Lily Allen. She’s not that talented and she’s always slagging people off which seems unnecessary.”
Lily Allen has been tweeting again and this time the edgy singer has turned her caustic tongue on Britain’s Got Talent’s Susan Boyle.
Lily was watching BGT on Sunday night when she commented on Twitter:
“Susan Boyle is so overrated. Je suis overrated aussi.”
When challenged by her Twitter followers, she replied: “I’m allowed to have an opinion. I thought her timing was off, no control, and I don’t think she has an amazing voice.
Lily Allen pulled no punches in an interview with French magazine SoFoot.
When asked her opinion of X Factor judge Cheryl Cole she said: “She represents everything I hate – she is stupid, superficial, as ugly outside as inside.”
She went on to describe Cheryl’s husband Ashley as “the worst, he disgusts me”.
Lily Allen has been singing the praises of Sir Alan Sugar and the opening episode of The Apprentice this week.
On her Twitter page Lily filled fans in on Sugar’s witty one liners. She tweeted:
“Could Alan Sugar use a few more metaphors in his opener? Diamonds, coal, extreme pressure! LOL.
“I’m harder to play than a Stradivarius, you’re as easy to play as the bongo drums. Genius. I know the words to ‘Candle In The Wind’, that don’t make me Elton John!”
Rumours have been abounding for months that Dannii Minogue is on the brink of being replaced on this years X Factor series.
So far suggestions for her replacement have included Charlotte Church, Robbie Williams and Lily Allen.
Lily sent the gossip network into overload yesterday when she confirmed that she would jump at the chance to act as a judge on the show.
This years Strictly Come Dancing winner, Alesha Dixon, has revealed that her pal Lily Allen, is keen to sign up for this years series of Strictly Come Dancing.
‘Lily told me that she wanted to do it. I don’t know whether she has been advised not to, but she would be fantastic,’ said the former Misteeq star.
