Celeb weddings to air on Living

nicola mclean and tommy williamsLiving TV has revealed that, as a finale to its upcoming ‘Four Weddings’ series, it will air the weddings of four celebrity couples.

These will include the nuptials of Nicola McLean and her fiancé Tommy Williams, East 17 band member Terry Coldwell and his fiancé Faye Saterlay as well as Sandra Dickinson and Mark Osmond and 60 Minute Makeover star Phil Turner who will be renewing his vows with partner Gary Cockerill.

The Four Weddings series begins on Monday July 6th at 9pm on Living. Read more & comment »

The image above from the Daily Mail is without doubt the most touching, truthful and painfully sad depictions of Jack and Jade’s love that I’ve ever seen. The picture captures the desperately sad fact that despite their love for each other, they know they don’t have a long future, and it makes me weep every time I look at it simply because of the immense honesty of the picture.

And Jade Goody is, among many other things, honest; often painfully so. At one time, I would have said that honesty was born from the lack of sufficient intelligence to lie or carry out a deceit because as I’ve mentioned in my articles about Jade on this site before, when she first shot to fame on Big Brother in 2002, I couldn’t stand her.

I thought she typified the ‘chav’ type of young woman; loud-mouthed, inarticulate, crass, vulgar… in fact, I thought she was exactly what she portrayed herself to be – the ill educated product of a broken, dysfunctional family who lived on state benefits on a rough council estate. The fact that she seemed to be proud of – or at least not embarrassed by – “being thick” embodied for me many of the things that I felt were wrong with young people in this country today… Read more & comment »

The show, called Bad Girls Club will air on Living TV, and The Sun reports:

All the women on Bad Girls Club admit to being cheaters, liars, backstabbers and manipulators who love to use their good looks to get what they want.

Sounds interesting.

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson To Host Dirty Cows

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson will be the new host for Living TV’s new show Dirty Cows.

In the show, Ten beautiful city girls will move to Devon to try and snare a handsome farmer.

The Sun reports:

They will be showered in muck, chased by turkeys and hounded at the barn dance in a bid to win the local stud.
