Lord Sugar denies sexing up The Apprentice with “dolly birds” to boost dwindling ratings & he hates saying “You’re Fired!”

Lord Sugar has quickly shot down any talk that The Apprentice has been sexed up with “dolly birds” this year, in a bid to save the show after it took a nose dive off a cliff in terms of ratings last year.

Last year’s final was three and a half million viewers down on the previous year’s 10 million, so the sceptics among us think that Lord Sugar may have stuffed the boardroom with as many pretty females he can lay his hands on to save the show.

Made In Chelsea: Jamie Laing opens pop up sweetie shop!

Made In Chelsea star, Jamie Laing, launched his first pop-up shop, Candy Kittens, in Chelsea’s Kings Road yesterday.

The reality star, who was callously dumped by co-star, Louise Thompson for his best friend and co-star, Spencer Matthews, had expressed a desire to launch his own sweet franchise, run by sexy girls, in the E4 show last series.

Tonight’s episode of The Apprentice airs at 9pm on BBC1, and we have some spoilery news for you which include this week’s Top Moments…

As always Episode 10 of our favourite cut-throat show begins with an early start for the candidates battling to be Lord Sugar’s business partner. It is almost the end of the 2011 series and you can feel the tension! Northern Irish Jim goes as far as commenting:

Doing his bit for the entrepreneurial agenda in Great Britain, Lord Sugar gives The Apprentices a salvage task tonight to prove to them (and to we aspiring binmen at home) that you can make money from any old (s)crap.

That’s right – Teams Venture and Tragic Logic were sent off to pick up commercial junk, cream off the valuable goods within and flog it on at a profit. While spending as little as possible on actually skipping rubbish that was leftover.
