Westlife singer, Shane Filan has let the proverbial cat out of the bag on the issue of X Factor twins, John and Edward Grimes.
Each week Simon Cowell sits in his judging seat of power and tells the nation how much he detests the boys and mocks their lack of singing talent. However Shane has confirmed what we suspected all along and told The Sun that it was actually Cowell’s idea to give the twins a place in the final 12.
Shane said: “We went with Louis to Simon’s house in LA and they took us to a room with a cinema and said, ‘We want to play you something.’

Louis Walsh has admitted that Boyzone have no immediate plans to perform together and said that the boys need time to grieve for their late bandmate, Stephen Gately.
Walsh told The Evening Herald: “They have lost a brother in Stephen and right now they are hurting. Coming back isn’t something that one member of the group can decide on their own – it has to be a group decision.

Louis Walsh has spoken about his return to X Factor last week and revealed that Simon Cowell told him that he was missed.
Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, Walsh explained: “I didn’t really know what it would be like coming back on the show after everything that has happened. I was all over the place after the funeral and I took a couple of days to come to terms with the loss.

Louis Walsh has claimed that Simon Cowell is worried that John and Edward Grimes may just win The X Factor.
After reports suggested that John and Edward received the highest amount of votes last weekend, Louis says that Simon is worried that he may have to give them a record deal.
Walsh told the Daily Mail: “Simon is desperately worried that the twins are going to win. He’s really unhappy, but there is nothing he can do because this is who people are voting for. I thought they were going to be popular, but I never expected this.

X Factor judge Louis Walsh, has insisted that his boys John and Edward Grimes can win this series of the show. After the boys were blasted by Simon Cowell last night for their awful performance, Louis told The People that he has faith in and a vision for the Irish teenagers.
Louis said: “I honestly think that they can win the competition and go on to become a very successful boy band.

X Factor creative director, Brian Friedman has revealed that judge Louis Walsh will be back on the show this Saturday.
Brian seemed excited by the news, but as much as I am sorry for Louis’ huge loss and difficult time, I have to admit that I enjoyed The X Factor without him.

X Factor bosses are said to be keen for the remaining members of Boyzone, to perform a tribute to Stephen Gately on the show.
The Mirror reports that bosses are first waiting for approval from Louis Walsh, before approaching the band.
A source said: “Stephen was a very close friend of the ITV show. During a production meeting they were discussing ideas for guest performers. Boyzone were mentioned as an obvious choice.

X Factor judge Louis Walsh, may have been missing from the show this week but that doesn’t mean that he wasn’t watching. In a live telephone chat with the Xtra Factor tonight, Louis admitted that he had watched the whole of the results show and added that he would have agreed with Simon Cowell and saved Rachel Adedeji.
“I never want to watch the show at home again,” he joked with Holly Willoughby. “I’ve been shouting at the TV all night.”

Simon Cowell has hit out at his fellow X factor judges for their negative comments about Danyl Johnson.
Last week Dannii commented on Danyl’s sexuality whilst Cheryl and Louis called him cocky and unlikebale.
“All three of them were messing with Danyl and I’m not having it,” he told the Daily Star. “Those three are more competitive than ever. They see Danyl as a big threat to them winning this competition.

Danyl Johnson has revealed that he is looking forward to performing on tonight’s X Factor show and says that he plans to win over Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue by any means possible.
On the official X Factor site, Johnson said, “Last week went a bit like this… silence from the crowd after what Dannii said. It was all a bit mad. But backstage it’s all cool now and I just want to get up and sing again.
“With Louis and Cheryl, I know I have to try to get them on my side but I don’t know how to do it.

X Factor judge, Louis Walsh, won’t be appearing on either of this weekend’s shows due to the funeral of his close friend Stephen Gately, but he has admitted that his mentoring role on the show is the only thing keeping him going.
Although Louis hasn’t seen his acts, Miss Frank and John & Edward Grimes this week, he says that his daily phone calls to them are keeping him strong.

Producers have confirmed that Louis Walsh will miss both X Factor shows this weekend.
Walsh will be attending Stephen Gately’s funeral on Saturday and will not be flying back to London for the Sunday night show.
A Talkback Thames spokesperson emailed Unreality TV saying: “Due to recent tragic events, Louis Walsh will not be appearing on either the Saturday or Sunday live The X Factor shows this weekend as he is attending Stephen Gately’s funeral.

X Factor judge Louis Walsh has admitted that he won’t be on this week’s Saturday night show as he will be attending the funeral of Stephen Gately that day. Louis, 57, also revealed that although he was asked, he doesn’t intend to speak at the service.
Louis told The Sun:
“They asked me to get involved but I couldn’t stand up. I’d break down.
“The emotions and nerves would be worse than any X Factor show. I don’t like real life – that’s why I love the pop business, it’s not real. The funeral will hit me hard because it still hasn’t sunk in that he’s gone. I’m dazed.

X Factor judge Louis Walsh, has spoken to press for the first time about the death of Stephen Gately. Despite rumours that Stephen died after an eight hour booze bender, which led to him choking on his own vomit, Spanish officials insist that he died from wholly natural causes.
Talking about his last meeting with Stephen, which was just last week, Louis told The Sun:
