X Factor judge Dannii Minogue has hit back at her colleague Louis Walsh after he claimed that Simon Cowell is ignoring him and lavishing all his attention on new judge, Cheryl Cole.
In her column for Closer magazine, Minogue wrote: “Louis Walsh is at it again. It seems the only way he can make the headlines is by talking about me! Lou Lou wants some attention, like the naughty little boy he is. Read more & comment »

Xtra Factor host, Holly Willoughby, has revealed that X Factor judge Louis Walsh loves to bitch and that Simon Cowell doesn’t preen as much as one might think.
She told the Sunday People: “Louis is outrageous and likes to bitch. He makes everyone laugh but he can be a bit mean to the contestants.”
On the subject of Simon Cowells vanity she said: “I had heard that Simon was a bit of a diva, that he preened himself in the mirror a lot, but he’s changed. Read more & comment »

Louis Walsh has just gone and got our hopes up by saying that he’s not sure if he will be returning to the X Factor next year.
Speaking to The Mirror, he claimed: “I could be gone next year. Honestly, I don’t know.”
Louis was sensationally sacked last year from the judging panel and then brought back on board when his replacement, Brian Friedman proved that he wasn’t up for the job.
Now Louis is admitting that it could all happen again……..We wish!!!!

Louis Walsh is the undisputed king of the Irish pop scene. He is the man behind some of the most
successful bands in pop history, masterminding the careers of Boyzone, Westlife, Samantha Mumba, Girls Aloud and Shayne Ward. The fact that he has achieved a staggering 28 number one hits is a testament to his success and is one of the reasons why Louis Walsh is one of the most respected names in the music industry today.
Louis first taste of success came when he spotted an artist called Johnny Logan. Louis was convinced that Logan could be a big hit if he was given the right break and persuaded him to sing at The Eurovision Song Contest. His gamble paid off and in 1980 Johnny Logan won the 25th Eurovision Song Contest in front of 500 million viewers. Logan’s first album sold half a million copies within three days of its release, catapulting Logan to Number 1 in eleven European countries. Read more & comment »

X Factor is coming back to ITV1 in just four days time and apparently we can look forward to watching Louis Walsh being bombarded by gifts from the older ladies.
Louis has admitted that he does hold some sort of strange appeal to the granny viewers, but says he doesn’t mind as long as Simon Cowell doesn’t give Them his phone number.
When asked how he felt at getting all the pensioner action Louis laughed:
“It’s quite nice! Although Simon will take the micky out of me for days afterwards, and they always seem to be the older ladies not the young ones. It’s when Simon starts handing out my phone number to them that I get annoyed. Beula, from series 2 still rings me now after Simon gave her my number all those years ago!” Read more & comment »

X Factor judge, Louis Walsh has revealed that new judge, Cheryl Cole, is doing “amazingly well” in the X Factor auditions and that she has fitted into her role brilliantly.
“Since seeing Cheryl in action, I now know she was the right choice from all of Girls Aloud for the role,” Walsh told The News Of The World.
“She’s opinionated, good-looking, great TV and she can sing. And Simon loves her. Of course I’ll miss Sharon – she was a mate - but I think Cheryl will match her for entertainment value.” Read more & comment »

Cheryl Cole has just started as an X Factor judge, and already she is laying the boot into her old manager, Louis Walsh.
When Cheryl Cole’s group, Girls Aloud, won ‘Pop Star: The Rivals’ in 2002 they inherited Louis Walsh as their manager but later sacked him saying that he was uninterested in the group.
So when an auditionee began to praise Louis at a recent audition she felt compelled to point out his weaknesses.
A show source told The Sun: “The contestants said they wanted to have Louis as a boss and Cheryl piped up and joked ‘No you don’t!’ Read more & comment »

The three other X Factor judges, ie, the ones that aren’t Simon Cowell are said to be stalling on signing their contracts for this years series, as they are all hoping for a pay rise from ITV.
Last week news emerged that the X Factor would be going all Strictly Come Dancing and having a live Saturday night performance show followed by a results show on Sunday night.
Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue, who are rumoured to have been offered £1.5 million, £800,000 and £500,000 respectively are now holding out for more cash because they will have to work one more night a week.
An ITV source told The Sun: “We are working everything through now and just waiting to dot the Is and cross the Ts. Read more & comment »

Dannii Minogue has been given a substantial pay rise for another year on ITV’s X Factor, Simon Cowell confirmed.
“Dannii will get a pay rise this time,” Cowell told The Mirror. “They usually do after the second series - plus she deserves it.”
Cowell also revealed that Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne have both been offered their jobs back, though he admits he has not spoken to Sharon about recent rumours that she is not coming back.
“Sharon is a handful, but she’s what makes the show interesting,” he explained. “If someone doesn’t want to come back then that’s their decision. I’m not going to get into this whole firing thing again after last time.”
He continued:
“Backstage was the real show - my God, yes. Read more & comment »

X Factor judge Louis Walsh has revealed that he was disappointed with the standard of contestants on this years X factor show.
“I got fed up,” Walsh told Heat magazine. “It’s a talent show but the standard wasn’t as good as last series.”
He added that he “couldn’t care less” if Simon Cowell sacks him again….that sounds like an invitation to me!

Dannii Minogue has ended up in Louis Walsh’s bad books yet again, after she snubbed his generous Christmas present.
An X Factor source told The Mirror: “Louis went to great lengths buying presents for his fellow judges. When he knocked on Dannii’s dressing room door, she barely opened it, stuck her arm out, took the present and shut the door again. Louis was staggered.”
Maybe he should have been nicer to her throughout the show and she might have had a bit more time for him!

Finally! Something Unreality TV can agree with Louis Walsh on! We have constantly berated the use of sob stories by X factor producers this year and it seems as though some of the judges are getting fed up with the sympathy stories too.
Asked to name this year’s worst change in the X factor show, Louis Walsh told The Mirror: “The public has been going for these sob stories and the acts go for the sympathy vote. There were far too many sob stories and far too much crying in this series. This is supposed to be a talent show, not Jeremy Kyle. Read more & comment »
December 8th, 2007 by Lisa McGarry. Tags: dannii minogue, louis walsh, Niki Evans, X Factor 2007
X Factor finalist Niki Evans has dropped so much in my estimation this week.
First she declares her intent to go straight under the knife if she wins the ITV show, and now she has defended Louis Walsh’s cruel comments to fellow X Factor judge Dannii Minogue last week.
When Dannii remarked that Niki had been out of tune the week before, Louis starting attacking her about the quality of her musical releases in the past.
In a press conference with the four X Factor finalists this week Rhydian Roberts spoek of the incident saying: “She [Dannii] was genuinely upset - the words that he used were quite strong.”
“Good, I’m glad, good,” Niki cut in, adding: “I’m glad he said it to her.”
Now in fairness to Louis, Dannii Minogue’s pop record has been littered with flop after flop, and some of what he said wasn’t too far from the truth. However, the way in which he treated her bordered on bullying in my eyes, he would never dare to attack Simon or Sharon so nastily, as he couldn’t handle their response!
I am very disappointed that Niki publicly supported Louis’ mean heartedness (is that even a word?), Louis is a grumpy and bitter old man, Niki wants to be careful she doesn’t end up tarred with the same brush.

Louis Walsh is often slagging fellow X factor judge Simon Cowell for his false teeth, and Sharon Osbourne for her false boobs, but now it appears that Louis is thinking of finally succumbing to cosmetic surgery.
He is quoted as saying: “I’m the only person with my own tits and teeth!
“I haven’t had anything done yet, but I will - Botox probably. I have to start thinking about it because I want to look good next to those three.”
I think it’s going to take a bit more than botox Lou-Lou!
