X Factor 2012: Judges’ Houses locations and helpers revealed plus see who’s mentoring which category!

It’s been revealed in the Daily Star today where the X Factor judges are going to take their acts for the Judges’ Houses round, and which celebs will be assisting them in choosing who to take through to the live rounds.

According to the paper, Nicole Scherzinger will be head off to Dubai with the Boys, where she’ll be assisted by Ne-Yo.

Gary Barlow – who asked the show’s bosses to locate his Judges’ House near to his home so that he can continue to support his wife Dawn and his kids as they continue to mourn baby Poppy’s death – will be in London with the Over-28s where he’ll be joined again, as he was last year, by Robbie Williams.

Tulisa Contostavlos is taking the Girls to the Caribbean island of St Lucia, and has lined up Tinie Tempah to assist her. And Louis Walsh will take the Groups to Las Vegas, where former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne will help him make his choices… Read more & comment »

Ginger Spice, Geri Halliwell, gets thumbs down from X Factor judges, whilst Scary Spice, Mel B waits in the wings to be guest judge!

After believing that the final X Factor  judge’s seat was hers for the taking, Spice Girl Geri Halliwell was left red-faced and humiliated yesterday when her fellow judges, Tulisa Contostavlos, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh all gave her a vote of no confidence by saying that they wanted former judge, Sharon Osbourne to take the position permanently.

Halliwell was so sure that the position would be offered to her after filling in as a guest judge throughout the audition process, that she had even discussed who she would draft in as her helper during the judge’s house stage of the show (read original article here).

X Factor 2011: Louis Walsh is furious after bosses tell him to “pick another Wagner”

The Daily Mirror today reports that X Factor judge Louis Walsh is said to be “furious” that the show’s bosses have told him he must “pick another Wagner” so that there are novelty acts in the show’s live rounds.

The paper states that Louis fears his credibility will be damaged by choosing another underdog act this year for his final four. Which category he will be mentoring hasn’t yet been revealed.

A show source said, “Louis means business, but in the end the producers got their way and one of his finalists is a bit more outlandish than he would have liked.” Read more & comment »

X Factor 2011: Louis Walsh says he expected Tulisa to be “a little chav”

Long serving X Factor judge, Louis Walsh, has revealed that he thought new judge Tulisa Contostavlos was going to be a “little chav”.

However, once he’d met her, Louis was reporteldy “pleasantly surprised” to find that she didn’t have the attitude of a diva hip hop star.

He said, “She’s everything I thought she wasn’t going to be.

“I thought she was going to be a nightmare – lots of tattoos, rapping all the time, hoodies, all the bad things that I hate.

X Factor wannabe says he nearly ran over Louis Walsh

During a recent round of auditions in Manchester, one of the hopefuls confessed that he’s once come close to killing judge Louis Walsh!

Hopeful Neville Bradley revealed, “Me and my dad were once driving around Dublin and we almost ran Louis over.’’

X Factor 2011: Louis Walsh gets a standing ovation at yesterday’s auditions

After it was revealed that all charges against Louis Walsh had been dropped – and the man who made indecent assault allegations was being charged by police – the X Factor judge received a standing ovation from the audience at yesterday’s auditions.

The Sun reports that Louis was “close to tears” as the 5,000 audience members cheered, clapped and chanted his name.

Clearly relieved to have been exonerated, Louis said, “I’m delighted. It is great to be here and get on with the show again.” Read more & comment »

Cheryl Cole, Sharon Osbourne among stars who pledge their support to Louis Walsh

Former X Factor judges Cheryl Cole and Sharon Osbourne are among a number of celebrities and close friends of Louis Walsh’ who have vowed to support him against allegations that he sexually assaulted a man in a nightclub.

Earlier today, Simon Cowell said he was “100%” behind Louis’ bid to clear his name following the accusation, and now as well as Cheryl Cole and Sharon Osbourne saying much the same, Mary Byrne told The Sun, “I don’t believe it, not with Mr Walsh – he’s too much of a gentleman.”

X Factor 2011: Simon Cowell says he supports Louis Walsh “100%” over indecent assault claim

Simon Cowell has revealed to The Sun newspaper that he’s backing X Factor judge Louis Walsh “100%” over yesterday’s reported allegation that Walsh indecently assaulted a man in toilets at a night club, which Louis denies.

Simon told the paper, “I don’t believe for a second these allegations are true.”

Louis denies molesting a 24-year-old male in Dublin after a recent Westlife gig, and he told the paper, “I’m devastated by these completely unfounded and malicious allegations.

X Factor: Louis Walsh hits out at claims Simon Cowell “fixed” sing-off

X Factor judge Louis Walsh has hit back at allegations that The X Factor is fixed by Simon Cowell so that his favourite acts stay in the contest.

While speaking on LBC 97.3 this morning, Louis took the opportunity to stress that last Sunday’s sing-off between Mary Byrne and Cher Lloyd was not fixed so that Cher would remain on the show.

He said, “I’m furious about the rumours because it’s all untrue, it is all untrue.

“I can understand why people are angry but I’m Mary’s mentor.

“I wanted her to make the final but I knew I was in trouble, I so knew I was in trouble on Saturday night.”

And when asked if he thought Mary would’ve stayed in the competition if only the phone votes were taken into account, Louis replied, “I don’t know. We never get the vote until after the series.
