Sophie Cook is seen causing quite a stir amongst the judges on tonight’s So You Think You Can dance.

During the final auditions based episode, judge Sisco Gomez takes a distinct dislike to her funky mullet and leopard print MC Hammer pants and makes his distaste very clear…..much to the annoyance of fellow panel member Louise Redknapp.

Sophie tried to impress the four experts with her contemporary fusion routine, however they seemed more caught up in how she looked than how she danced and the camera flicked back to Sisco pouting every few seconds.

Judges’ comments

Sisco Gomez: I’m gonna be real. You need a new look. That mullet’s not gonna work. You’ve got technique there. I enjoyed your performance, but the look is a big distraction and I only say it because the way you present yourself is so important. It’s dated, it doesn’t do you any favours. And whether Louise agrees or not, I work with these artists, I’ve been a dancer, I choreograph for them. And if you were to audition for me, you’d be a distraction and you would not get the job.

Louise Redknapp: But Sisco, she might not like how you look today. It’s personal opinion. She doesn’t look bad. Sophie, I really enjoyed your dancing anyway. Well done.

Nigel Lythgoe: I’m so pleased they got around to your dancing Sophie. I’m a yes to callbacks.

After a serious amount of bickering, the judges unanimously agreed to bring Sophie back to callbacks. Did she have time for a haircut before the next dance?

Callbacks update

Sophie changed her look by wearing more conventional attire and tying back her hair, Sisco loved the fact that she tried and it was enough to earn her a ticket to choreography camp.

Jamie Redknapp has said that his wife Louise Redknapp will do well on BBC’s ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ and thinks the judging role will help her launch her new TV career.

Speaking to The People, ex-footballer Jamie said: “I’m so proud of Louise and I love it that she works so hard. She’s got the drive and ambition that it takes to do very well in television. I have no doubt that she will be a star – a golden girl.”

He continued: “Louise decided she wanted to work in TV and has put everything into doing that. She would hate to have the reputation of being just a WAG – she’s far more than that.”

Former Eternal singer Louise Rednapp has been announced as the third judge for So You Think You Can Dance.

The wife of footballer Jamie Redknapp will join Nigel Lythgoe and Arlene Phillips on the panel for the BBC dance show.

“I’m so excited about this opportunity,” said Redknapp. “I went through similar dance training as a lot of the kids competing, so I know where they’re coming from. The opportunity this show offers them is phenomenal, and I can’t wait to be part of the live shows.”

Head judge Lythgoe said: “Louise joined us as a guest judge during the Manchester leg of the auditions and we loved her – she brought something different to the panel and she had a great affinity with the kids up there dancing for their lives. When it came to thinking about the live shows, we kept coming back to Louise. She is perfect for the job.”

WAG and former singer Louise Redknapp, has reportedly been signed as a third judge on BBC’s ‘So You Think You Can Dance.’

Louise performed many dance routines when she sang with Eternal and later, in her own solo career.

She will join former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips and Nasty Nigel Lythgoe on the panel, whilst Cat Deeley will return to the UK to present the show.

Louise Redknapp’s husband has admitted that his wife is addicted to all things X Factor.

“I don’t watch it. There’s no reason for it, I just don’t watch it,” Jamie said at GQ’s Men Of The Year awards. “I know Louise watches it, so I pretend to watch football in the other room and leave her to it.”

She gushed:

“I really love X Factor, I really enjoy it. I think it’s great entertainment for the family, great TV. It’s a nice fun show to watch,” she said.

“There’s lots of great talented people. You wonder if they’re going to run out, but every year it gets better and better.”

“I love watching Dannii and Cheryl and seeing what they’re wearing every week – it’s wicked.”

Former Eternal singer Louise Redknapp is to front reality TV show ‘Farmer Wants A Wife.’

Redknapp will help farmers find love in the Five TV show and the channel’s controller Richard Woolfe told Broadcast that Louise could follow in the footsteps of Robson Green, in his show ‘Robson Green Extreme Fishing.’

He said: “We’ve said we want to put entertainment back at the heart of the channel, and I also want to get lots of star names.

“Robson Green has been fantastic – men and women love him.”
