X Factor star Lucie Jones has landed a role in Doctor Who spinoff ‘The Sarah Jane Adventures.’
The singer has enjoyed many career developments since leaving the ITV show, not only as a singer but also as a model and now as an actress.
Former X Factor contestant Lucie Jones has said that her former mentor Dannii Minogue will have no trouble catching up when she joins the show at a later stage this year.
Dannii will not be attending the initial auditions for this year’s show due to pregnancy but is expected to rejoin the panel in the later bootcamp stage of competition.

In an interview with The Mirror Jones said: “I really clicked with Dannii right from the beginning. She was so maternal and really looked after us girls.

Since the show Lucie has landed a lucrative modeling contract, but the 19 year old The Mirror that she is still smarting from her X Factor loss. She said:

Lloyd, who finished in fifth place on last year’s X Factor series told WalesOnline: “It worked out really well. Lucie found herself a place in Putney and was advertising for a flatmate and I was looking for somewhere myself but I couldn’t find anywhere I liked.

Lucie Jones may not have made it to this year’s X Factor finals but that last few months haven’t been all bad for her. The 18 year old singer has revealed that Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson has asked her out for a dinner date and the two are currently finalising dates and times.
Lucie told The Daily Star: “His sister got in touch with me after seeing me on the show and asked if I wanted to come to dinner after the Twilight New Moon film a couple of weeks ago.

In an interview with The Mirror Lucie claimed:
“If you look at the way Simon stands up for Danyl every time he sings…I’m sorry Danyl’s not that good every time he sings.”
