Fans of Richard Fleeshman (we know you’re out there!) now have the chance to hear his only recordings on the Soapstar Superstar album!

The album features Richard’s versions of I Can’t Read You and Trippin’.

There’s also Crazy Chick and What You’re Made Of by Roxanne Palette and Lucy Pargeter’s Holding Out For A Hero and Sound Of The Underground. Great album, but is it the definitive Soapstar Soundtrack? I’ve heard one comment that the backing track sounds like a cheap Karaoke CD? What do you guys think? Has anybody bought the album yet?

Before Lucy Pargeter sang her acoustic number tonight she admitted to feeling very nervous about the task. She seemed to think that the rest of the contestants have stronger voices, and that she tends to hide her poorer vocals behind a backing track or band.

I therefore expected a woeful rendition of Gloria Estfan’s ‘Anything For You’. I was so so wrong!

Lucy sang the song like she had written and meant every word. Her vocals were crystal clear, it was one of those performances that make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck.

The audience loved it, the judges were astounded and I think and hope that Lucy has secured herself a place for a few more nights!

Michael Greco And Nick received the fewest votes from the public tonight so one of them will be leaving the show tomorrow night. To vote for your favourite call
