We’d had the winner of So You Think You Can Dance 2011 predicted weeks ago: it was always going to be a bloke, and it was most likely to be Matt Flint.
The charismatic tap-dancer was a clear viewer favourite throughout the series – and he’d never been in the bottom two dance-offs. For my money, I preferred the masculinity and poise of Luke Jackson, but it was clear that the public loved the cheeky chappie in the tap shoes.

Ambitious, motivated jazz dancer, ready to explore his full potential
Between the ages of 11-16, Luke trained up to five times a week in jazz, ballet and tap at a local dance school, before joining Laine Theatre Arts aged 18. After graduating, Luke was cast in the ensemble of Saturday Night Fever, and since then has appeared frequently in the West End. He has most recently performed in Pricilla Queen of the Desert.
