In response to constant rumours, Big Brother stars Luke Marsden and Rebecca Shiner have confirmed that they have split.

In this week’s Star magazine Luke insisted that their relationship was genuine but admitted that they had grown apart.

“Bex told me she didn’t love me anymore,” he said.

Earlier this month, Bex told the Coventry Telegraph: “I like to go out and get drunk but he stays in and reads books. I don’t really get on with that.”

I wonder if Rebecca has fallen for Jedward instead? After all she did get their name tattooed on her bum!

Big Brother couple, Luke and Rebecca, are rumoured to have landed a TV job, hosting a concert for this year’s Children In Need.

A source told The Daily Star: “They’re naturals in front of the camera and they have amazing chemistry.

“It is in at the deep end. There will be no room for mistakes.

“They’ll have to be right on the money, but if they pull it off it could land them a mega TV deal.”

Hollyoaks hunks Matt Littler and Darren Jeffries will help the pair present the Blackpool concert.

Big Brother presenter, Davina McCall has admitted that she thinks some of the Big Brother realtionships are fake, but adds that she is sure that Luke and Bex are for real.

Davina told The Sun that she “definitely thought that some BB relationships were formed just for the publicity.

“The cynic in me could think, ‘Oh look, they’re in all the magazines now together’.”

But Davina is adamant that BB9 couple Luke and Rebecca are for real.

She said: “I kind of love Bex and Luke, because they would never look at each other and think, ‘We’re going to get together just for that reason’.

“It was almost as if it was against their will that they liked each other.”

Former Big Brother housemates, Luke Marsden and Rebecca are said to have apent two nights together since Luke left the BB house on Friday.

Luke told the Daily Star that the couple had spent a passionate few nights together last weekend: “She tore me apart like a wild animal off the Discovery Channel.”

Rebecca is quoted as saying: “I am over the moon. I waited for him at the hotel on Friday. It was so funny, because they pretended there was a fan waiting for him – and then I ran round the corner.

“He screamed like a girl when he saw me! As soon as I saw him, all the feelings came flooding back and I knew that I really liked him. I took him straight up to the bedroom!”

Hoqw bad must Luke Marsden feel? Out of nine housemates, the British public like him least and have tonight evicted him from the BB house.

During tonight’s 9pm show, Davina McCall announced to the house that Luke was the next housemate the public have voted from the Big Brother house. He received 37% of the total votes cast.

Luke will be leaving the Big Brother house during the 22.35pm show, to be greeted by Davina and the crowd outside.

Luke Marsden was a shaving virgin before he entered the Big Brother house, and he proved that he hasn’t learned much today when, after a bit of personal grooming, he ended with a face full of blood.

Luke was aggressively rubbing the razor up and down his chin and surprise, surprise, cut his lower lip.

He of course panicked and made Dale fetch him an antiseptic wipe to clean up the mess.

I think that for his leaving present, Bex should buy him an electric razor!

Dale and Luke this week will face the next Big Brother eviction via the public vote on Friday 01 August. Dale received six nominations with Luke receiving five.

This afternoon, Big Brother informed housemates that a number of them including Head of House Stuart, had broken the fundamental rule of talking about nominations several times today. Housemates have been predicting who will face the public vote, as well as who they may have nominated. Many housemates have been talking about nominations in code.

Effective immediately was the loss of Stuart’s title of Head of House. Big Brother has said that there will be further consequences. As a result of the rule break Darnell, Rex, Mohamed, Rachel and Stuart will join Dale and Luke to face the public vote.

Michael is first to nominate and names Dale saying, “We know what he said in the video last night (referring to Dale’s audition video the heavenly housemates viewed)…..He would stab everyone in the back for the 100k”. Michael then names Rex as his saying he is offensive and obnoxious. Michael adds, “If he doesn’t want to be here then he knows where the door is…over the last couple of days he has upset people I like”.

Mohamed then nominates Dale and Luke.

Next up is Rex and he nominates Dale saying, “We saw his VT yesterday and he is the exact kind of person I don’t like”. Next, Rex nominates Luke saying that since Rebecca has gone, Luke’s personality has now “died”.

Stuart nominates Darnell and Maysoon.

Dale nominated Mohamed and Darnell.

Darnell nominated Dale saying, “We have definitely fallen out”. Darnell then nominates Luke adding, “He’s not funny, he’s a miserable bast**d”.

Kathreya nominated Luke and Lisa.

Next to come to the Diary Room is Lisa who names Rex for being a “wind-up merchant” and being “really annoying to live with”. Lisa’s second nomination goes to Dale because he has gotten “more moody and harder to live with.”

Luke nominates Kathreya saying, “The woman is an absolute drama queen. Everything she does is practically staged….the singing is relentless.” He then nominates Rachel for being “extremely irritating”.

Maysoon nominates Dale and Rex.

Rachel nominates Luke and Lisa.

Sara is the last housemate to nominate and she nominated Mohamed and Rachel as she did last week.

So I was watching the Big Brother highlights last night and thought that the housemates must be in some sort of weird fancy dress in which Luke Marsden had been required to draw on a silly looking moustache. However, as the show progressed and I saw Luke waking the next morning with the same fluffy monstrosity above his lips I realised that he had actually grown that thing on purpose.

Thankfully, with the departure of Bex, Luke must have regained some of his common sense, as he went to the bathroom this morning and shaved the line of bum fluff away.

Luke had never shaved before entering the BB house, now he has shaved both his face and his toes, had his eyebrows plucked and grown a poor excuse for a moustache. What a a man!

Big Brother housemate, Luke Marsden has admitted to getting upset after watching his snog buddy, Rebecca, kiss Mohamed.

It was part of a dare game, and Bex was dared to snog Mo after she failed to drink a raw egg concoction.

However Luke later told Bex that he elt like he’s been “punched in the chest” after watching the pair kiss.

He added: “If you go tomorrow, I will…” Luke stammered. “I didn’t think I liked you.”

Rebecca replied: “I did know that I liked you, I just didn’t think you liked me.”

Luke then told Rebecca to go and enjoy what might be her last day in the house, but Bex said she would prefer to stay with Luke, who admitted: “I didn’t think I was a jealous person, but that got to me, I swear to God.”

17 year old Gina Bannister claims to have been dating Luke since February this year and told The Sun:

“I don’t think Luke and Bex have had sex but they have been caught kissing and that left me in tears.

“Luke is a great guy, funny, charming and I thought we had something special before he disappeared to go into the house. He told his family about Big Brother but not me — he lied and said he had to go to London for a few weeks on jury service.

“Next thing I know he was on my TV — but I stayed loyal and printed up T-shirts to support him and wore them round my college.

“Now he is walking all over me by kissing Bex and I’ve had enough.

“It’s his 21st birthday on Wednesday and his present from me is being dumped because I just can’t take the humiliation any more.”
