BBC bosses are reportedly considering asking Annie Lennox or Lulu to join the panel of The Voice for next year’s series.
All four coaches from 2012 – Tom Jones, Jessie J, Will.i.am and Danny O’Donoghue – have revealed that they would like to return to the talent show for it’s second run, but insiders say that with ratings taking such a large dip during the recent live shows, they are looking for a way to revamp the format and a new face could be just the thing they need.

Strictly Come Dancing bosses have reportedly got their hands full on this weekend’s final, as three of the celebrity couples are barely speaking to one another.
Insiders say that Lulu hasn’t spoken to her professional partner Brendan Cole since they were voted off the show in week six. Sources say she took offence at comments he made about her soon afterwards, implying that she was perhaps a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde character.

Following the Halloween spooktacular last week, the ten remaining couples took to the dancefloor once again to impress the viewers at home, as well as the fearsome foursome – judges Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli & Craig Revel Horwood who were joined by Hollywood superstar and Dancing With The Stars USA champion, Jennifer Grey – in the studio.
On Sunday’s results show, the judges’ scores were combined with the results of the viewers’ votes. Audley Harrison & Natalie Lowe and Lulu & Brendan Cole were announced as the two couples in the bottom two.

It’s the bonfire night edition of Strictly Come Dancing, but tonight’s show highlighted the difference between the real firecrackers and the damp squibs. Not even Russell Grant’s usual camp comedy routine could scare up the votes from the judges – he ended up coming bottom of tonight’s leaderboard!
In other news – Len Goodman was missing in action tonight, so he was replaced by Dirty Dancing star (and Dancing With The Stars contestant) Jennifer Grey. Jennifer was a great replacement for Len, but she seemed to get her scores stuck on 8 for most of the night. And…she made us all cringe when she said to Chelsee Healy “nobody puts Baby in a corner”. Oh dear. Read more & comment »

It could be argued that any episode of Strictly Come Dancing which stars Bruce Forsythe and Tess Daly is Fright Night. Which would be all of them basically! Hell, even the judges are in on the act tonight with a touch of finger snapping for the Adamms Family inspired intro routine. I’m just a little bit disappointed that they missed the opportunity to drape Doddery Bruce in cobwebs!
Anyway, welcome to another Strictly Liveblog! Tonight’s episode was punctuated by Brucie telling a joke that was actually funny. And it had a little poke at ITV at the same time! Strictly’s getting confident! And Craig Revell Horwood swooping in on a broomstick? Classic!

Ola chicos y chicas! Welcome to Unreality TV’s third week of Strictly Come Dancing liveblogs – and with no Edwina Currie, who’ll provide the cringes on this week’s show? Well, probably Russell Grant, who we heard described on Twitter as Christopher Biggins with even less dignity. Does that sound about right?
Tonight’s show kicks off with a group performance in an old Broadway stylee. We’re randomly thinking Brendan Cole’s new haircut makes him look like less of a preening peacock than usual. The professional dancers are joined by the rank amateurs celebrities for the finale of the number, with most of the guys forgetting when to raise their ridiculous top hats.
Holly Valance
Holly Valance dancing in a cage? It’s like the choreographers went in and stole the idea from my mind, Inception-style. Holly and Artem start off their routine sizzling together in the cage, but the routine inexplicably loses energy when Holly tries to do kicks toward Artem. Still, it was a reasonably steamy routine.

Brendan Cole is often thought of as the tough and nasty dance professional on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, however the star is hoping he can show a softer side of himself on this year’s series.
Lulu looked aghast when she was paired with Cole on last Saturday’s launch show and in response he just picked her up, threw her over his shoulder and carried her off the stage.
However, he is hoping that is the last time he will have to manhandle the ‘Shout’ hitmaker, as he thinks she has enough drive to push herself on to give the best performances she can on the reality TV show.

Lulu has confessed that she was gutted to be paired with Brendan Cole on last week’s Strictly Come Dancing launch show.
The ‘Shout’ hitmaker wanted a more easygoing dance partner, as she feels that Cole is too strict and volatile and viewers saw her looking appalled on Saturday night, as she discovered who she would perform with for the duration of the series.

Strictly Come Dancing blasted back onto our TV screens this weekend and we have to say, we think bosses may just have come up with the show’s best lineup yet!
We are particularly interested in watching former Tory minister Edwina Currie, who was feisty to say the least when she previously took part in Hell’s Kitchen on ITV1. We can’t help thinking that Vincent Simone is going to have his hands full for the next few months.
