Another Friday another Big Brother eviction and this evening was ladies night on the Channel 5 reality TV show.
Earlier this week it was revealed that professional dancer and wannabe celebrity Lydia Louisa and her pal and Miss India UK winner Deana Uppal would be facing the public vote, after they attracted eleven nominations between them.

The ladies have also been at the centre of a bullying row this week, with many outside organisations claiming that Arron Lowe and Conor McIntyre are behaving inappropriately towards the women and both men being warned for the aggressive or disrespectful language they directed at the girls.

In last night’s Channel 5 Big Brother highlights show, we saw housemate Caroline Wharram given a formal warning by BB after having called Adam Kelly “a gorilla” and – though she didn’t earn her warning for this – declaring he’s “unsanitary”.
She made her remarks having become angered with Adam after he spun her – in her opinion – too fast on the roundabout during the ‘100’ task when she had to eat a jar of pick ‘n mix while sitting on said roundabout.
During the task, she told Adam he was “a bully” for spinning the roundabout too fast, then began crying with a total lack of tears.
However, later on, when BB called her into the Diary Room and told her that using the word “gorilla” in relation to Adam could be deemed offensive, she wholeheartedly apologised then later still, apologsised to Adam in person… Read more & comment »

To pass this week’s shopping task, all Housemates must do is score 100 points. Over the course of the next two days, Big Brother will be setting Housemates a number of challenges where they can win points towards the 100 points target. Housemates may also lose points – for example, by giving in to the temptations Big Brother offers.
In the Living Area there is an empty container. Each time Housemates win a point, a red ball will drop into the container. Each time a point is lost, a ball will drop out of the container. Each ball represents one point. The number of balls will be counted at the end of the shopping task.

As we reported yesterday evening, Deana Uppal and Lydia Louisa are facing eviction this Friday, having received the most nominations from their fellow housemates.
Though both ladies smiled when their names were announced, Deana was the first to react to the news by saying, “It’s no surprise; I knew it.”
And apparently aimed at Conor and Arron, she said, “You’ve got what you wanted.”
Lydia remained silent at the time of the announcement – you can click here to see a clip of the housemates hearing the news – but she later told Luke A that she has no idea what reasons her fellow housemates could’ve given for nominating her.
She said, “I thought people would go with their own opinions, but the sheep follow the shepherds. I’ve not done anything to anyone…” Read more & comment »

The Big Brother housemate has so far avoided lying in the sun while on the reality TV show, because she hates tan marks and prefers to sun worship topless. The professional dancer told Lauren, Adam and Becky that she would have no hesitation in baring all on a nudist beach and insisted:

The housemates aren’t allowed to speak about nominations anymore, after a new rule change last week, so some contestants are taking new measures to try an influence who people vote for.
Lydia Louisa is a canny girl and this morning spoke to Luke A, Adam Kelly and Deana Uppal in the garden about some other members of the group, insisting that they had been backstabbing all of them the night before.
The professional dancer is keen to avoid nomination again, after being up for eviction during her first week on the Channel 5 show and so told some of her pals that their competitors had been mocking them just hours ago.

Andy Scott-Lee doesn’t think that his girlfriend has much time left in the Big Brother house.
The singer and reality TV star is engaged to Lydia Louisa, who entered the Channel 5 reality TV show earlier this month. He has been trying his best to whip up support for the professional dancer since the series launched at the start of June, but the brother of Steps singer Lisa Scott-Lee confessed at the weekend that he thinks, despite his best efforts, Lydia is on her final stretch.
