Ashleigh Hughes may have been blowing hot and cold on Luke S in the Big brother house, but the blonde beauty thinks she and her new man may have a future together after the reality TV series.
The Essex girl has been getting up close and personal to the hunk almost since day one of the show earlier this month, but despite the fact that she once told her fellow housemates that she doesn’t feel very much for him and didn’t want a relationship with him, last night she confided in Sara and Shievonne that she thinks they could end up being a proper couple in real life.
There’s an interesting development in the Big Brother house this afternoon in that Deana Uppal has told Lydia and Lauren that she wants to leave…
However, as you can see in this clip, she has insisted that she doesn’t want to “leave by the back door” and instead, she wants her fellow housemates to nominate her tomorrow so that she can still get the chance to leave and enjoy her eviction interview with Brian Dowling.
But, as the no discussing nominations rule is once again in force, will Big Brother punish Deana for saying that she wants to be nominated?
I suspect they will, and I’d love to know what punishment you think she should get? Should she, for instance, be immune from nominations this week as a perverse sort of punishment?
Actually, I’d love that to happen because it would soooooooo annoy her fellow housemates, and if she’s serious about wanting to leave, then it may prompt her to either p**s or get off the potty! Read more & comment »
As fans of Big Brother will doubtless know, Lydia Louisa has been something of a laughing stock having told her fellow housemates that she wouldn’t reveal the identity of her fiancé as he’s “famous” and she thinks if they knew who he was, it would prejudice them against her in some way.
But of course, as Andy Scott-Lee – who is Lydia’s fiancé – has charmingly and candidly joked, he’s nowhere near as famous as Lydia made him out to be.
He recently said “[I’m] not actually famous,” and added that Lydia “is fully aware I’m no A-lister.”

Yesterday was Day 19 in the Big Brother house, and also Ashleigh’s 21st birthday, and the lucky girl – or unlucky, depending on your opinion – had two parties to choose from!
More on that in a moment, but before the birthday merriment got under way, Big Brother revealed yet another nominations rule break, which yet again saw the housemates left without hot water.
It all began when Ashleigh and Shievonne were talking about Conor, and while pointing out that everyone likes the Irish boy, Ashleigh said, “He’ll never be up,” to which Shievonne replied, “He’s not feeling Lydia and Deana…”
Ashleigh then stated, “He’s going to go on voting for them until they are up.”
Oooo fail!
Sure enough, Big Brother gathered everyone in the living area and replayed the conversation, causing an annoyed Lydia to stomp off mumbling, “Do I really need this in my life…” Read more & comment »
As we reported earlier, when Benedict Garrett left the Big Brother house, he made a confession on his way out, telling Luke S, “sorry about the curry.”
He was of course referring to the fact that he’d spiked Luke S’ protein shake powder with a rather liberal dousing of curry powder, and right up until Benedict’s confession, Luke S had no clue whodunit.
Caroline had of course previously claimed “Deana did it, 100% I know she did it” over the debacle, and she was evidently 100% wrong diddly wrong wrong.
However, Benedict’s confession prompted angry shouts of “w**ker” from Caroline – who can’t help but point out the obvious; he didw**k in the house and had a ‘face, bothered?’ attitude to her disdain – and various other expletives from Luke S and Conor, who joined in the righteous indignation… Read more & comment »
Today, Day 18, has begun most confusingly for some of the housemates, and this is because of a mischievous midnight prank that was carried out by Lydia, Deana, Luke ABenedict and Lauren…
It began when, around midnight, Lauren rearranged the items in the kitchen cupboards just to p**s Luke S off, and overseen by lookout Luke A, Lauren mischievously revealed, “I’ve done it really un-neat because he’s so anal!”
Lauren then enlisted Deana’s help in messing with Luke S, and she suggested moving some things out of a top cupboard into a lower one – the devious sod – but Lauren said, “We will but not yet…” evidently keen to save the best ‘til last.
By now, Benedict, the man behind the curry powder in the protein shake debacle was a willing accomplice, and while Deana stood point for him, watching in case someone who wasn’t in on the conspiracy ambled by, Benedict found the tuna supply. Dun dun dun! Read more & comment »
Lydia Louisa has a lot of rules and regulations in the Big Brother house and it seems that one of them is ‘thou must not talk about periods at the dinner table.’
The professional dancer cooked a big batch of spaghetti bolognese for her fellow housemates last night and was less than amused when her pal – Deana Uppal – started talking about menstruation.
Andy Scott-Lee’s bit on the side warned the model that she didn’t appreciate the topic of discussion but when the brunette beauty forged ahead, talking about her period, Lydia screamed in her face.
Later that evening the row continued in the bedroom, as a confused Deana asked her friend what she had done wrong.
She questioned:
‘We are supposed to be friends, we have spoke about a lot in here….couldn’t you just have given me a dirty look or something?’
‘Is that the worst thing you’ve ever heard….period? Period?’
But Lydia was having none of it, she stood her ground and insisted:
‘Has no one ever taught you that when someone cooks a meal you don’t talk about certain things at the table? You did it twice.’
‘If your mum cooked a meal, would you talk about periods at the table?’
‘As a lady don’t you think that’s wrong?’
Uppal got more and more angry the more Louisa blasted her and accused the dancer of overreacting, adding:
‘You are so harsh Lydia, don’t you have a heart?’

Day 17 in the Big Brother house was fraught with tension in the wake of the housemates having no hot water thanks to Caroline and Conor discussing nominations, and more specifically, Caroline saying that she thinks everyone will nominate Becky…
And of course, BB has reinstated the no discussing nominations rule, so the whole house was punished by having the hot water turned off, and it seems cold showers do not make for happy campers.
The tension between the men folk is particularly noticeable, and Benedict is predominantly unimpressed with Luke S right now, and especially so given that he – Luke S – has taken it upon himself to be the alpha male in the house, and oversees the shopping list, excluding pretty much everyone else…
So Benedict decided Luke S needed bringing down a peg or two, and he chose to do that by dropping a really lot of curry powder into Luke S’ protein shake. Read more & comment »
Housemates have been taking part in this week’s shopping task for the last 24 hours. Benedict, Luke A and Lydia are scientists performing experiments on the remaining housemates, their lab rats.
To win a luxury shopping budget, the scientists must correctly predict the outcome of the majority of their experiments. Yesterday, they correctly predicted 5 out of the 6 experiments. Now the scientists are considering their role in the task.
However, as far as Lydia was concerned, the only thing of any import whatsoever was the fact that it was her 26th birthday, and for the majority of the day, it was a fact that Big Brother completely ignored.
But nonetheless, once the task was officially over – even though there had been literally no mention of Lydia’s birthday from BB – everybody started getting dressed up and made up for the party that they were sure was going to ensue.
So when Big Brother called the housemates to the sofas for an announcement, a delighted Lydia could barely contain herself as she waited for the news she’d hung on for all day; that a party, a cake and pressies was about to occur… Read more & comment »
