Neither Mariah Carey nor Susan Boyle will appear live on this weekend’s X Factor results show.
Mariah recorded her song during a trip to the UK last week and The Sun reports that Subo will film her guest appearance on Saturday afternoon.
Mariah Carey has reportedly cancelled a performance on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend but has already pre-recorded her song for The X Factor.
A BBC spokesman said: “We had hoped to have Mariah Carey on the show but her schedule changed and made it impossible.”
Piers Morgan has admitted that he admires Mariah Carey and thinks that she has earned the right to behave like a diva.
Mariah recently kept the staff of America’s Got Talent up all night, as she perfected her three minute segment for the show.
He told the Daily Mail: “Mariah’s the wife of our new host, Nick Cannon, and it was not difficult to see why she is the most successful solo female recording artist in history.
The ITV.com X Factor website has revealed that as well a performing her new single on Saturday night, Mariah Carey will also be singing the current X Factor number one, Hero along with the X Factor contestants.

Mariah will deliver an exclusive performance of her new single, I Stay in Love live on the show this weekend.
In addition to Mariah’s performance, this week’s show theme is Mariah’s Songbook, and all the finalists will be performing hits from Mariah’s extensive back catalogue.

Mariah Carey is rumoured to have signed up to appear on X factor next month to promote her new album.
The diva will sing her new single ‘I Stay In Love’ on November 8th.
An X Factor source told The Sun: “Simon loves Mariah — he’s always comparing acts to her. And finally all the compliments have paid off. It’s amazing to have such a big name singing on a British talent show.”
And thrilled ITV bosses are expecting ratings to go through the roof. Our source added: “Mariah is one of the most successful female artists of all time. It’s going to blow Strictly Come Dancing out the water.”
Mariah Carey is said to be gearing up for a performance on one of this years live X Factor shows.
A show insider told The Daily Star: “It is almost done and dusted and they are finalising a date and some of the fine print.
