When Mark Wright left The Only Way Is Essex, it was to pursue fame and fortune in his own right, and after winning the hearts of the nation on I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, he headed off to Hollywood to embark on a career over there…
However, the dream has turned sour as it’s been announced that his show, Mark Wright’s Hollywood Nights has been axed after failing to pull in viewers.
The show, which aired on ITV2 and featured Mark playing pranks on his mates in Los Angeles, was slammed by critics when it first aired earlier this year, and now, ITV2 boss Angela Jain has admitted that the show’s a flop

Mark Wright has returned to his Essex routes as he is spotted hanging around an episode of The Only Way Is Essex as it is being filmed.
Wright, who quit the hit ITV2 reality show after the third series to take part in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, was pictured in today’s Sun newspaper, hanging around the set where his friends and former co-stars were filming for Sundays instalment of the show.

Former TOWIE star – and current star of his own series, Hollywood Nights – Mark Wright has revealed that he’d love to play the male protagonist in a movie adaptation of “mummy porn” novel, Fifty Shades of Grey.
While speaking to the Daily Star, Mark claimed that playing S&M connoisseur Christian Grey would be right up his street – although he hastened to add he’s not into violent nookie – and help him make his mark in Hollywood.
He said, “I’d love to play Christian, that would be such a great part for me.
“Everybody is loving that book right now.

Made In Chelsea‘s Binky Felstead has revealed the plans for filming series four of the hit E4 reality show, her plans for the future and her thoughts on Professor Green and Mark Wright.
Speaking to Heatworld.com, Binky, who has just released her own fashion line, confirmed the filming schedule for Made In Chelsea series 4: ”We start filming at the end of July and it looks like we might be going to America at some point.”

Sucks to be Lauren Goodger at this time (or anytime for that matter), as after claiming earlier in the week that she and former fiancée and former The Only way Is Essex co-star, Mark Wright, were still in love with each other (read original article here), Wright has hit back at the claims saying “that girl is part of my past”.
Salon owner, Goodger, made headlines this week after claiming the reason that ex Wright had publicly defended her over the twitter abuse she has been receiving was down to the fact that the Mark Wrights Hollyowod Nights star was still harbouring deep feelings for her.

Former TOWIE star Mark Wright has revealed that he’s loving spotting celebrities in Los Angeles where he is currently filming his own ITV2 series, Mark Wright’s Hollywood Nights.
And in fact, Mark himself has been recognised from his time on The Only Way Is Essex as apparently, Americans watch the show on t’interweb.
Of that, he said, “The UK people over here know us, and even some Americans as they get The Only Way Is Essex on one of their websites.
“We was in a bar one night and some girls said, ‘Oh, it’s Mark!’”

Ee by gum, that Mark Wright’s a bit of a lad isn’t he? He’s always up to some prank or another, and his latest rib-tickler joke on a mate was setting him up to star in a gay orgy film! And frankly, I’d have watched it. There I’ve said it.
Mark has of course been stateside filming his new series Mark Wright’s Hollywood Nights – which debuts on ITV2 tonight at 10pm – and as part of the jolly japery, he enlisted the help of random stranger to tell Mark’s mate Nick that he wanted him to star in his new movie.
Keeping the joke going right up to the last minute, a horrified Nick only discovered that the film was to featur a gay orgy when he arrived on-set to start shooting. Pun intended there.

After what seem like years of TOWIE’s Lydia Bright crying and accusing her ex boyfriend, Arg (James Argent) of cheating her, the unlikely love rat has confessed all to her mum, Debbie, whilst Lydia finally seems to have moved on and gets a first kiss out of Tom Kilbey!
Fans of The Only Way Is Essex have watched over the last series of the show how the aftermath of the split has caused row after row between the two former lovers, with Arg hurling abuse at Lydia at every opportunity he could find.

ITV2 have announced their newest show, Mark Wright’s Hollywood Nights, which will feature the former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star in his latest adventure, as he jets off to Hollywood for the ultimate lads holiday.
The hunk has the lifestyle all the guys want – VIP bars, stylish clothes, girls, flash cars and a solid group of mates he refers to as ‘his entourage’. In this new weekly series, we’ll follow their adventures in LA as they plan to get up to all sorts of mischief and mayhem – LA had better watch out!
