As fans of Dancing on Ice will know, during the last series, there was much speculation that former EastEnders star Matt Lapinskas was in a relationship with his pro-skate partner Brianne Delcourt, however, both initially denied that was the case.
However, when Matt then split from Shona McGarty – who plays Whitney Dean in the BBC soap – rumour was rife that he left her for Brianne.
A series of lovey dovey tweets between Matt and Canadian Brianne seemed to confirm their romance, and today it’s been reported that the couple are off to “honeymoon isle” Tahiti for a romantic break. Read more & comment »

We reported last week that football legend Paul ‘Gazza’ Gascoigne had claimed that he wanted to take part in this year’s I’m A Celebrity so that he couldn’t have access to any booze…
It’s also been claimed that he’d consider signing up to other reality show including Dancing On Ice and Strictly Come Dancing, and in fact, he was due to star in Strictly Ice Dancing in 2004, but had to pull out due to an injury.
However, it’s been revealed today that Paul will join Dancing On Ice stars Beth Tweddle, Matt Lapinskas and Gareth Thomas during this year’s Celebrities On Ice tour for the show’s last performance on May 26 in Newcastle, which is of course Paul’s home town. Read more & comment »

Throughout the last series of Dancing On Ice, it was rumoured that former EastEnders star Matt Lapinskas was dating his pro-skate partner Brianne Delcourt, but Matt consistently denied that was the case and insisted they were just good friends…
However, he and Shona McGarty – who plays Whitney Dean on EastEnders – then split up, with Matt claiming that he was putting too much of his time, effort and concentration into the show and in doing so, had neglected his romance with Shona.
But there came further hints that Matt and Canadian Brianne were an item during a series of tweets which seemed to indicate they had pet-names for each other. Read more & comment »

We recently reported that Dancing On Ice star – and former EastEnders actor – Matt Lapinskas had split from his girlfriend Shona McGarty, and at the time, he claimed that their parting of the ways had nothing to do with his DOI pro-skating partner, Brianne Delcourt.
However, while posting on Twitter this weekend, Matt has dropped what’s described as “the biggest hint yet” that he and Brianne may be romantically involved.
He tweeted, “Sometimes in life u meet someone who makes u feel invincible!

In news that will shock no one, it has been reported that Matt Lapinskas is now dating his Dancing On Ice partner Brianne Delcourt.
The former Eastenders star split with his girlfriend Shona McGarty a few weeks ago, amidst claims that she was getting sick of the time he was spending with the professional skater.

Robin Cousins has stepped into Jason Gardiner’s shoes this week and caused a bit of a controversy online.
The former ice skating professional has acted as head judge of ITV’s Dancing On Ice for the last eight years and he revealed – for the first time we’re pretty sure – that he was unhappy with the result of this year’s series.

As we reported over the weekend, Dancing On Ice runner-up Matt Lapinskas has split from his long-term girlfriend Shona McGarty, and it would seem the parting wasn’t an amicable one…
And that’s indicated by the fact that EastEnders actress Shona – who plays the role of Whitney Dean in the BBC soap – tweeted her congratulations to DOI winner Beth Tweddle last night, but completely blanked Matt.
To Olympic gymnast Beth, Shona tweeted, “Well done to Beth for winning dancing on ice!!!!;) xxx.” Read more & comment »

Matt Lapinskas may have lost out on the winner’s title on tonight’s Dancing On Ice finale, but he intends to keep up with the skating.
The Eastenders star has been a frontrunner on the ITV series since week one and this evening Jason Gardiner exclaimed that he considered him the winner, after an impressive performance of the Bolero routine.

Matt Lapinskas and Beth Tweddle were the last two contestants standing by the end of tonight’s Dancing On Ice final and just minutes ago both stars and their professional partners gave their last performances of the series.
Earlier in the night the actor and the gymnast went up against Luke Campbell, as all three delivered a showcase routine and their favourite routine of the series and it was no shock when Phillip Schofield revealed that Luke had received the lowest amount of public votes and would be going home.

Matt Lapinskas was a bundle of nerves when he took to the ice for the first time on tonight’s Dancing On Ice final and revealed that he was worried about skating with so many professionals.
The Eastenders star is sued to performing with his partner Brianne Delcourt but tonight he and the blonde beauty were joined by a whole host of other pros as they put on a showcase routine for the grand finale.
