Katie Waissel fixes her makeup for the cameras!

X Factor hopeful has denied claims that she once enjoyed a sexual relationship with Apprentice star Michael Sophocles.

Katie will be featured on tonight’s bootcamp episode, as she tries to sing her way onto the ITV live shows. Earlier this week Sophocles tried to cash in on her five minutes of fame, by claiming that they once slept together, adding that the 24 year old has always been desperate for fame.

Waissel denies the claim and blasted Michael, telling The Sun:

That is disgusting, that is so untrue.

“We went out for dinner and kissed on the lips but we never had a sexual relationship.”

“It’s all about him. He just wants to get back in the papers.

“It’s just ‘me, me, me’ with Michael. That’s why it didn’t work between us.”

Katie admitted that she was upset by Michael’s claims, adding that she had assumed they were still friends despite losing touch.

She said: “I’m upset and disappointed, I trusted him and thought he was a friend. He never even congratulated me on being on the show.

“For him to try and kick me when I’m on the up, I just don’t understand that. He should be happy for me.”

She ranted: “He says I’m desperate and fame-hungry – from the guy who was on the Apprentice?

“He’s a hypocrite.”

“I’m so thankful our relationship didn’t go further.”

]]> Michael Sophocles is a 24 year old Telesales Executive from North London. Self-styled alpha male Michael is a fearless professional who claims nothing phases him. He describes himself as a “good Jewish boy” with a ruthless streak who “doesn’t care at all about other people’s feelings”.

His passion in life are women, food, drink and gambling. Despite a very middle-class background he says he has an uncanny knack and talent of being able to adapt himself to all types of situations. He says that his current job in media sales earns him an astronomical amount of money.
