Big Brother housemate Michael Hughes got quite upset today when Lisa found a needle laying on the bedroom carpet.

Jennifer revealed that Sylvia has misplaced the needle and Michael exclaimed:

“That’s not on, I’m going to say something.”

Jennifer tried to defend Sylvia saying: “I don’t think it was necessarily intentional. It’ll have been accidental.”

“Of course,” replied Michael, “but it only takes someone careless like that and it goes right through somebody’s foot.” Read more & comment »

Big Brother housemate, Mikey, has spoken to Kathreya about the cliques and groups that he feels are forming in the BB house.

He said: “There’s no group so you can’t feel bad if you don’t feel part of it. There’s separate wee groups.

“I don’t feel worried because I knew it would be like this. You can’t be friends with everybody.”

When Michael (Mikey) was 23 he lost his sight whilst undergoing an operation and has now been blind for 10 years. Mikey works as a radio producer for a blind radio station called ‘Radio Insight’ and in 2007 was part of a team that won a Sony Radio Academy Award. He is extremely proud of his career and feels privileged to be doing what he does. If he won a million pounds he would like to quit his job and write radio plays and books, plus buy a pet pig!

Mikey describes himself as wacky, zany and non-conformist and considers his best ability is to make others laugh. His favourite party trick is to do stand-up comedy whilst dressed up in girls’ clothes. Read more & comment »
