Fans of the summer series of Celebrity Big Brother will no doubt recall that Jersey Shore star Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino became positively obsessed with fellow housemate Danica Thrall during his time in the house…
However, Danica repeatedly pointed out to him – fairly forcefully at times – that he isn’t her type, and of course, the whole debacle became an ongoing row both inside and outside the house as Danica was accused of “leading him on.”
But it seems that the whole experience, and his stint in rehab earlier this year, have helped to change Mike’s life around, and for that, he’s revealed that he feels “very blessed.” Read more & comment »

Last Friday The New York post reported a story that seems to reveal Mike the Situation, who then was still in the Big Brother house, might have been lying about his vast fortune.
The American reality TV star is strapped for cash it would seem and allegedly charges $30,000 every time he appears in a Las Vegas night club, and now he’s suing promotions company Diversified Entertainment for stiffing him out of a hefty $60K, according to TMZ.
The site claims that Sorrentino filed the suit in Miami after inking a deal to make three appearances at Las Vegas nightclubs Chateau and Gallery by the end of June.

As we reported yesterday, Celebrity Big Brother bosses expected – as did we – carnage to ensue at the show’s wrap party, given that Jasmine Lennard had sent Rhian Sudgen a tweet which read, “I would be afraid. VERY afraid right now” ahead of the show’s final.
However, photographs in today’s Mail online shows a somewhat sedate affair, with the smokers all gathered outside, seemingly chatting in a good natured manner…
But that said, there seems to be no sign of either Julie Goodyear or Jasmine in the images that were captured by Isoimages photographers.
What we do see though is winner Julian Clary having regained his calm, poised exterior as he chats to fellow former housemates Ashley and Mike The Situation… Read more & comment »

Last night was of course the final night that our six remaining celebrities will spend in the Celebrity Big Brother house, and as such, there was reminiscing and a few tears as the housemates participated in The Last Supper task.
In a nutshell, the task saw the final six sharing a slap up meal that was provided by Big Brother, during which they were required to discuss topics the big guy set.
Click ‘Read more’ to see what those topics were as well as clips from last night… Read more & comment »

When Big Brother’s Bit on the Side was close to finishing last night, I suddenly noticed something very interesting on the video screen and ended up standing in front of the TV screen to get a close glance of what was going on.
Julian Clary was sitting on the garden sofa close to The Situation who was tenderly stroking his hair and arm. It was such a touching and lovely scene. The pair are really forming a couple with Sitch fussing around him, bringing him crisps, poring him champagne, wondering if he wanted strawberries.
Yesterday evening, Julian and Sitch, together with Martin and Lorenzo collaborated on dinner and were working like a perfectly oiled engine. They wanted to be ready in time for evictions, but that didn’t stop Julie from interrupting them. Julian of course kindly agreed to do Julie’s makeup, but only if she’d do it in the kitchen. She was not happy about this arrangement… Read more & comment »

Last night saw a double eviction from the Celebrity Big Brother house, and not many were surprised that the first one out was journalist Samantha Brick, not even her! She was followed by an even less surprising eviction for Danica Thrall.
Like Samantha, Danica left to a massive chorus of boos but told Brian she thought it was “just panto”, whilst telling the audience she loved them.
Whilst being made to watch her shameless flirting with Prince Lorenzo and The Situation, Danica had to admit that perhaps she had gone a tad too far, whilst her boyfriend Ben stood guard next to her!

As we saw in last night’s Celebrity Big Brother highlights show on Channel 5, while he was trying to comfort Danica – who was upset because he’d nominated her – Mike The Situation, who is I believe the artist formerly known as Pinocchio, admitted that initially, during face to face nominations, he was going to nominate Coleen and Lorenzo…
And of course, the all seeing all hearing Big Brother took note, and, I suspect anyway, reviewed the footage of the face to face noms and saw that Mike did indeed have three cards bearing the faces of housemates in his hands when nominations began.
This of course was breaking the rules as the housemates had been told that when they’d selected the pictures of the two housemates they intended to nominate, they had to place the rest of the photos back in the envelope and put them on the floor…
As a result, Mike The Real Boy has now been banned from nominating for the rest of the series, and his noms this week were made null and void. Read more & comment »

As we reported earlier, soon after Rhian Sugden was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house, the remaining housemates were told that they were to nominate face to face, and were once again presented with cards bearing the pictures of the housemates each chose to nominate.
But unlike the last face to face noms, this time, each housemate had to nominate two people.
Initially, everybody seemed to take their nominations fairly stoically, however, within an hour or two, the recriminations and tears began, and as the clock crept past midnight, Danica was upset with Mike The Situation for nominating her after they’d made up following their big row, and it seemed another was on the horizon.
Elsewhere in the house, Harvey had a dig at Lorenzo for sticking up for, and being attracted to, Danica and thereby – apparently – breaking the ‘Man Code’, and Coleen wept in the Diary Room over the fact that Ashley and Julie had nominated her… Read more & comment »

As fans of Celebrity Big Brother will know, last night, Rhian Sugden became the latest evictee from the nation’s most famous house, which of course meant that Danica, Samantha and Mike The Situation were all saved by the public vote.
Now, I have to say, I’m not entirely surprised by that, given that with the vote to save – rather than vote to evict – system in place, it’s nigh on impossible to predict how voting’s going to go.
However, what does surprise me is how well Mike The Situation was received by the crowd outside, and evidently, that the viewers love the guy enough to yet again save him.
I honestly do not see the appeal. Aside from the whole Danica Gate debacle, what else does Mike do?? The only – literally only – thing that amuses me about him, as I’ve mentioned before, is how much he looks like Pinocchio when he became a real boy… Read more & comment »
