X Factor finalists Rachel Adedeji, Miss Frank, Rikki Loney and Kandy Rain won’t be heading out on the official XF tour this year. The acts had hoped that they would be allowed to perform at some of the venues, but this year’s lineup includes only Lucie Jones, Stacey Solomon, Joe McElderry, Lloyd Daniels, Jamie Archer, Olly Murs, Danyl Johnson and John and Edward Grimes.

The news seemed to come as a shock to Dannii Minogue who was sure that Rachel Adedeji would take part in some of the tour dates. She wrote on her Twitter page:

“I thought she was doing some of the dates like London?”

Tour bosses announced today that due to high demand for tickets from Jedward fans, they have added 16 new dates across the UK.

Miss Frank member Graziella Affinita, has defended John and Edward Grimes and insisted that she is not bitter about losing out to them on The X Factor.

Speaking on The Will Leahy Show on RTÉ 2fm yesterday, Graziella commented: “We love them so much. They’re really good lads.”

“They work really hard and they deserve every minute of this.”

On rumours that the boys had received the most public votes last weekend she said: “I can imagine it happening.”

“They work absolutely hard, day and night. They’ve held such a brave face throughout so much bad press.”

X Factor rejects Miss Frank, have said that they know why they were voted off the sow last Sunday night. They blame the fact that so many young girls, only vote for boys that they fancy.

Student Graziella Affinita, told The Sun: “I think the girls that watch it tend to vote for boys. That is just the way it works on the show.”

Shar Alexandra added: “Maybe people find it hard to connect to more than one person.

“We are just as vulnerable as one person but we go out there fighting to stay in.”

The girls also think that their style was different to what the viewers were used to, but think that people would have grown to love their vibe.

Shar said: “It was a bit different for The X Factor. But I think people would have warmed to it once they started to understand.”

Shaniece added: “It worked because Graziella showed a different side to hip-hop.

“She showed it can be soft – that you can enjoy hip-hop in a totally different way.”

Graziella said: “People would come up to us in shopping centres and say, ‘You’ve got to do that rap thing again’. That is something to reflect on.”

Miss Frank have become the third act to be voted off X Factor 2009.

The ill-fated girlband found themselves in the bottom two tonight with Danyl Johnson. They sang ‘Love Don’t Live Here Anymore’ and though Graziella’s rap was strong, the harmonies were not. I think that was their downfall in the end.

Danyl gave a carbon copy performance of his audition piece ‘A Little Help From My Friends’, dance moves and all. I would have preferred to see something new, though Danyl did a flawless performance of an old classic.

Simon and Dannii voted to save Danyl J, Louis predictably saved Miss Frank and Cheryl decided to send the show to deadlock and fall back to the public vote results. Miss Frank were sent home and looked non too pleased by the news. The girls – Graziella Affinita, Shaniece Davis and Shar Alexandra – have vowed to stay together, with band favourite Graziella insisting: “We are defintiely going to stick together. We are going to find our own factor!”

Their exit has surely got to be an act of divine retribution. Firstly to teach the judges that they can’t manufacture groups willy nilly and secondly I think it was the perfect payback to Louis Walsh for allowing such non-talent as John and Edward to be on the show. But then I suppose the perfect payback would have been if the twins had been sent home instead…..

The mum of Miss Frank singer, Graziella, has insisted that Simon Cowell made a mistake by forcing her to compete as part of a band. She believes that Graziella would be more successful singing alone.

Julie Affinita told The Mirror: “I believe Graziella would work so much better without the group. Her style is so different. She’s a rapper and hip-hop artist. That is what she has been doing all her life.

“When I saw her perform with the group last week I thought, ‘this is not Graziella – she can do better than that’. When she works on her own she knows what people want. She knows her audience.

“Graziella has told me she will do her best as part of the group, but she would have more success on her own.”

Julie also revealed that Graziella didn’t intend to audition for the show, but her cousin sent in an application form without telling her.

Julie said: “Ever since these singing shows first appeared on TV, I urged Graziella to enter them. I’d say, ‘come on Graziella, show them what you can do – you would be great’. And each time she’d say, ‘no Mum I’m not ready, I don’t think it’s me. I’m too busy making my own music’.

“And then this year we were all talking about X Factor again and I was saying to Graziella that she should seriously consider applying for it. Her sister Angela teased her saying, ‘You’re too big to be on The X Factor, you don’t have the right look’.

“It must have upset her, but she’s really confident in her singing and I’m so glad she didn’t let that put her off.”

X Factor contestant Graziella Affinita, has admitted that Simon Cowell was spot on in his criticism of her girl group, Miss Frank.

After the girls sang Whitney Houston’s ‘All The Man That I Need’, Simon Cowell said:

“It was out of tune, particularly at the end and you didn’t feel like a group.”

Graziella told The Haringey Independant: “We happen to be our own worst critics so we always take the judge’s comments on board and are striving for perfection with our vocals.

“Having listened to it back, we realised the performance was not us at our best. But we are excited about Big Band Week and will come out fighting.

“I am a huge fan of jazz swing and it has been my dream to perform with an 80-piece band. So Miss Frank will be back this Saturday and better than ever.”

On Louis Walsh’s absence last Saturday Graziella said: “We missed Louis but there is no question that he was where he needed to be. We completely understand.

“Meeting Whitney Houston was amazing. She has a majestic presence about her and she carries herself like a queen. I actually felt like I was meeting royalty. It was indescribable.”

Miss Frank never intended to be a girlband. All three girls auditioned for X Factor as solo singers, then the judges persuaded them to form a group.

It would seem that their lack of a bond and a history is affecting their work, with some X Factor sources suggesting that they will never remain together after the show.

The Sun reports that when preparing for this week’s first live show, the girls argued so much that they slowed down rehearsals. A source said: “They can’t agree on anything.

“Once they are back in the real world, expect them to got their own separate ways without looking over their shoulders.”

X Factor singer Shaniece Davis has insisted that she and the other Miss Frank members, won’t be going on a diet any time soon.

The 25-year-old, told The News Of The World: “I’ve got massive boobs – and they are natural. I have a big bum. We’re not skinny at all.

“We’re not trying to make ourselves perfect because we are what we are. We’re going to try to show the young girls that you don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to try to be like everyone else.

“They don’t have to have the skinniest bodies to have success.”

Louis Walsh has reportedly admitted that he was ‘peeved’, when he heard he would be mentoring the groups category on this years series.

The Mirror quotes Louis as saying:

“Yes I was peeved, but I wasn’t going to show it.”

So did Louis chose John and Edward Grimes as one of his final three acts, to lash out at those who assigned him to the groups? Quite possibly, he certainly doesn’t mind all the negative attention the boys have been getting in the run up to tonight’ show.

“They are the big story. Nobody’s talking about the real singers in the show. They’re all talking about John and Edward.” he laughed.

On Miss Frank he said: “They’re probably the best girl group we’ve ever had on the show.”

But what about Kandy Rain?
