Mitch Winehouse, who is of course the father of tragic singer Amy Winehouse, has revealed that he’d be happy to give permission for his dead daughter’s image to be relayed as a hologram, in the same way rapper Tupac was after his death.
As you may recall, Tupac “appeared from beyond the grave” with Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg at California’s Coachella festival in April in the form of a hologram.
Of the prospect of a similar image of Amy on-stage, Mitch told the Sun, “The most important thing to Amy was the music, and I’m sure a lot of people would like to hear her sing again.”
He added, “It depends on what Amy’s fans want as a way to keep her memory alive. If it’s a book, an album or a hologram, then so be it.”

Wannabe Vince Kidd wowed the coaches on The Voice in last weekend’s audition show, and it seems he’s caught the attention of Amy Winehouse’s dad, Mitch, who sent Vince a message of congratulations after seeing him perform.
Vince of course covered Madonna’s hit Like A Virgin, and in his message to the singer, Mitch wrote, “You did amazing.”
However, Vince revealed that he’d met Mitch last year, and was even introduced to Amy, so he was of course devastated when he heard about her tragic death last summer.
Vince told the Sun, “Mitch contacted me and said, ‘You did amazing’.

Simon Jordan, Mitch Winehouse and Nick Bateman have all reportedly been invited to appear on this autumns I’m A Celebrity series.
The Sunday Mirror reports that the football chief, celebrity dad and Big Brother star are all considering the offer and say that ITV has had to settle for less famous faces in a bid to save cash.

Mitch Winehousehas revealed that his daughter Amy, stopped him from appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
“When I told Amy I had the interview, she went mad – she says, ‘You’re not doing it dad,’ she wouldn’t let me do it,” he said on Mitch Winehouse’s Showbiz Rant.
Mitch is now backing former Page 3 girl Sam Fox to win the show.

Amy Winehouse’s father is reportedly considering appearing on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
Mitch Winehouse is said to be keen to take part in the show and is currently negotiating with ITV bosses.
A source told Britain’s Daily Star: “Mitch had an interview with ITV and he would absolutely love to go on the show. He thinks it would be a great challenge and a lot of fun.”
