MTV bosses have reportedly cut Gary Beadle from one episode of Geordie Shore, after he broke one of their golden rules.

Gary – better known as Gaz – got into a brawl with show newcomer Ricci Guarnaccio, after they fought over a woman and insiders say that producers were furious and not only dropped Beadle from one installment, but also issued him with a fine.

The bosses blamed the 23 year old hunk for starting the altercation and have issued him with a formal warning this week. However it is claimed that Gary was relieved when he heard what his punishment would be, as he had feared he would be dropped from the show completely.

Gary will also be relieved to hear that he has so far retained his unofficial title of ‘’Geordie Willy King’’, after some of his female castmates discussed the size of he and his pals’ manhoods.

The Daily Star reports that the ladies have branded Jay Gardner’s willy as looking like ‘’a small stick of rhubarb’’.

While James Tindale is said to boast nothing more than private parts the size of ‘’a cashew nut’’.

The Daily Star today reports that police in the North East of England are blaming MTV’s hit reality TV show Geordie Shore for an upsurge in booze fuelled criminal behaviour.

The paper states that in Newcastle, “Rowdy stag and hen parties have been heading for the city since the series launched in May.”

The show, which follows the lives of eight “sex-obsessed” friends, has become MTV’s most popular show to date, regularly attracting around 2million viewers per episode.

However, it’s been slated for the way it portrays the North East as it features cast members getting drunk, fighting, stripping and having one-night stands.

Now, British Transport Police say there has also been a massive increase in anti- social behaviour on trains to and from the city.

Sgt Stephanie Reynolds told the paper, “Passengers have reported problems from large groups on trains.

“Anti-social behaviour and over-indulging in alcohol will not be tolerated on the rail network.”

And Inspector Dave Balmer of Northumbria Police added, “There is a small percentage of people who get involved in disorder and those are the ones we target.

“Our message is clear: Come and have fun, but stay safe and stay out of trouble.”

An MTV spokesman said last night, “We are aware of this but have no comment.”

‘Desperate Scousewives’ and ‘Mersey Shore’ are both slated to air later this year, with Scousewives coming to E4 and Shore washing up on MTV.

Desperate Scousewives is based on fictional US series ‘Desperate Housewives’ while ‘Mersey Shore’ – a spin-off of American show ‘Jersey Shore’ and Newcastle-based series ‘Geordie Shore – will depict the rants, raves and sexy romps of a group of gobby 20-somethings who live together in a big house in the city.

However, the Daily Star reports that the two broadcasters have already clashed over casting and locations.

An insider told the paper, “Liverpool is a great city but there are only a handful of really top locations that production companies would want to use…

“Naturally, each company wants to exclusive so there’s a war being waged on the streets. And it’s not just locations.

“Casting bosses are trying to find their best group of wannabes. But yet again, their paths are crossing.

“It’s a mad race against time to secure the best location and the best cast. It seems Liverpool just isn’t big enough for the both of them.”

With both shows scheduled to go head-to-head in the autumn ratings, it’s thought TV chiefs are hoping to get filming underway later this summer.

‘Mersey Shore’ bosses are said to be anxious to sign up Eton Road singer Anthony Hannah, and former ‘Hollyoaks’ star Candy McCulloch. MTV are keen to land two of footballer Wayne Rooney’s cousins, cross-dresser Stephen Rooney and glamour model Natalie Rooney, to appear on their show.

The show will follow six young dads from all over the UK as they face the highs and lows of being a parent.

Each episode will feature a different first-time dad – each were each filmed over a three-month period – and will show how they’re coping with their new-found responsibilities as well as chronicling how their lives have changed.

The dads include Reece from Liverpool, Karl from Dorset, Dougie from Glasgow, Jon from Kent and Luke from Leeds, all of whom confess that being a young father wasn’t what they had in mind at this stage of their lives.

Reece, who has baby Heidi with his girlfriend Kayleigh, said, “I was 18 when I found out I was gonna be a dad, it was scary like…

“Not many people have kids young. It’s just one of them things. It’s happened.”

Dougie, who’s split up from his son Dominic’s mother, Heather, added, “He’s my son and I wouldn’t want anyone else to take my place.

“But I feel like I’m being pushed aside.

“I never had a father figure around me, so I don’t know how to be a dad.”

The six-part series will kick off on MTV on 27th July at 9pm.

Newcastle residents have reportedly taken exception to how they are being portrayed on MTV’s newest reality TV series, Geordie Shore.

The show launched on Monday night and is supposed to be Britain’s answer to the insanely popular US series Jersey Shore. However after watching the housemates lounging half-naked in a jacuzzi and vomiting after a night out and brawling in nightclubs more that 20,000 angry viewers have made their disapproval known on social networking site Facebook.

One page, entitled R.I.P Geordie Pride, stated: “After this we can no longer be proud to have a Geordie accent after these t***s embarrass us all on national television.”

An angry viewer vented: “this show must be removed from tv …… its a disgrace to all the good hard working geordies !!!! and as for their parents well !!! they want to be embarrassed to think they give birth to them and need to look at there parenting skills !!!!

“if these people wish to do the things they do, then so be it im sure they will be the most hated geordies in the world ….. was the 5 min fame really worth it ??? i think not !!!!!!(sic)”

However, we don’t think the show will be going anywhere any time soon. Although OFCOM has confirmed it has received complaints about the outlandish nature of the programme, it is “unlikely” officials will do anything to curb it because no codes of practice have been breached.

Meanwhile, local tourism groups have slammed ‘Geordie Shore’ for “reinforcing outdated stereotypes” of people from the North East of England.
Sarah Stewart, boos of the Newcastle Gateshead Initiative, told the Daily Star newspaper: “Initial reaction to the depiction of the area and the behaviour of the people featured in ‘Geordie Shore’ has been negative.

“It’s hoped that, as the series continues, we see a more accurate representation of the destination. It will be very disappointing if the programme continues to enforce outdated stereotypes.

“The fierce reaction demonstrates that people who live here feel very strongly about the place and how it’s being poorly represented in ‘Geordie Shore’.”

Charlotte Letitia Crosby will star in the new MTV series of Geordie Shore and she has promised viewers that their reality TV show, will be much more enjoyable than it’s American competitor, Jersey Shore.

The US version is filmed in America’s New Jersey are and the UK counterpart is based in Newcastle, England.

The barmaid from Sunderland and seven other wannabes spend six weeks working for a promotions company and Charlotte says the new British show will leave ‘Jersey Shore’ in the shade, even though she admitted a liking for US star Pauly D.

Charlotte said: “I think the Jersey Shore cast are good but not as good as us, if I had to pick my favourite it would be Pauly D.”

On how she wants to be known, after the series launches, the busty brunette went on:

“I aspire to wrestle sharks. I want to be famous for being fun, funny, a party animal, massive p***head. My ideal night out is spending all day getting ready with the girls, drinking, playing drunken games, having loads of shots, having dance offs in the pub and then getting a greasy kebab at the end of the night.

“My tips to pull a fit guy is don’t wear a bra. Get them nipples out. Chestnuts on an open fire and all that.”

Viewers can expect plenty of drama from 20-year-old Charlotte when the show kicks off later this month, as she admits she was once sacked from her job in a pub and then barred for falling asleep in the toilets.

She said: “My most embarrassing moment is probably when I fell asleep in the toilets and it was in the place I worked in. I got chucked out by the people I worked with and I was barred for three months. It was kind of embarrassing.”

Now I don’t know about you, but I find myself torn between love and loathe for this programme. That’s not to say sometimes I love it and sometimes I hate it, but 2 of the ‘teen mom’s’ fill me with admiration, compassion and sympathy, where as the other two have me (and my other half who insists he is not a fan) screaming at the TV.

This series was no exception. The first thing that really grated me was the fact that Farah suddenly felt the need to tell everyone how her baby’s father had died before she had given birth and how he was the love of her life and how she was so damaged without him. Would have been believable too, if she hadn’t announced to the world during her 16 & pregnant episode that the father was a jacka** and that they were bad for each other and that she wanted nothing to do with him and he was never going to have anything to do with their daughter, Sophia.

For once I actually sided with her overbearing sociopath of a mother, who was quite rightly stunned and speechless being dragged to a counselling session to be told she wasn’t supportive of her daughter’s grief, when I doubt she would even be able to recall the lad’s name. All of a sudden, whether it be because she realised that she would be able to get benefits or just to get a bit of sympathy from the viewing public who had spent the entire first season thinking her nothing more than a spoilt brat, she really laying this dead boyfriend story very thick, and the sad violin music was played at the end of every scene.

Obviously these girls are still very young, which probably makes their shocking behaviours and attitudes more apparent, but the hypocrisy and downright nastiness of Amber is literally unbearable. Every week her and Gary have split up and then get back together, it got very boring. She got physically violent to him on more than one occasion in front of their poor little daughter, Leah, then wonders why Gary takes the child away. I say wonders why, she doesn’t do anything about it, just gets her friends to come over to comfort her bringing pizza! When the poor, long suffering Gary finally decides enough is enough and says he is moving out, she has a hissy fit about him sharing an apartment with friends, exclaiming that he was not allowed to introduce anyone to Leah without her meeting and vetting them first. As a mother myself, I can actually understand this, although not the aggressive nature it was projected, however when she then moves in some strange lad (and I mean strange, straight out of prison, telling her he loved the daughter before he had met her and that meeting her in a supermarket was the best day of his life, all on the first date) in to live with her after dating him for two weeks. When Gary comes over to discuss contact with the child, there is a dying bunch of flowers he had sent her still on the coffee table, that’s how quick it had all happened, and then he finds out that this virtual stranger, a convicted criminal has been changing his daughter’s nappy, he would have had every right to literally explode! There is so much more I could say about her and her behaviour, but I am actually getting angry writing this much.

In complete contrast, this season saw the lovely and mellow Maci trying to cope with being a single mother, moving to a new state to be closer to a boyfriend she considered to be the one, only to have him end it because it was all a bit too much for him. The silver lining was a look and comment from her ex, her son Bentley’s dad Ryan, which leads me to believe it may not be the end of the road for these two after all.

Finally there is Catelyn and Tyler. These two teenagers have shown such bravery and maturity with regards to having their daughter adopted. Their story has been so emotional and was rewarded at the end of this season with their first visit with their daughter, who is living with adopted parents Brandon and Theresa in an open adoption which allows them limited access and contact. There was one moment in the reunion where everyone was chatting, apart from Catelyn and her birth daughter, Carly. It had been discovered that they shared a nose wrinkling facial expression, and were just sat opposite each other doing it to one another. Made me sob.

So, that is it for another season, always comes around far too soon, but do not fear as season three of 16 & pregnant starts tomorrow, so watch this space…
