Myleene Klass and Samantha Womack have reportedly been asked if they can stand in for Amanda Holden at this year’s Britain’s Got Talent auditions in London.

ITV have confirmed that they are looking at stars who will work as temporary judges with the other panel members – Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon – after it was revealed that Amanda Holden will spend a second week in hospital following the traumatic birth of her new baby daughter Hollie on Monday.

The 40 year old was in critical condition at the start of this week and has been subject to a number of blood transfusions and though it is expected that she will return to the ITV show later in the year, for now producers are looking at stars who may be able to step into her shoes on a short term basis.

Insiders claim that TV presenter Myleene and Eastenders star Womack are currently favourites for the role and are being considered for the auditions set for February 6.

“We always had planned bringing in some special guest judges for when Amanda went off to have the baby,” a source told The Mirror.

“We are sticking to three judges in Cardiff at the weekend but we would like someone in the fourth seat by the time we film in London on February 6.

“Amanda knows she is welcome back but the show must go on and we need another judge as soon as possible.”

A medical source told the newspaper that Holden’s recovery is a bit behind where it should be and explained:

“She is ­recovering but is a few days behind compared to a standard caesarean because of the problems she had,” a source told The Mirror. “We’re hoping she’ll get her energy back at the weekend.

“She’s been through hell but won’t mind because she had a beautiful baby girl.”

Samantha was rumoured to be joining the panel on a full time basis last year and is said to have held talks with Simon Cowell about the possibility of joining the show.

Myleene not only has TV experience but is also an accomplished musician and singer. She shot to fame on a reality TV show, after she became one of the winners of the 2001 series of Popstars and landed a place in pop band Hear’Say.

Myleene Klass has revealed that she will soon be starring in her first Bollywood movie.

The new mum – who gave birth to her second daughter ‘Hero Harper’ on the 25 March 2011 – has revealed that she is in no hurry to lose the last of her baby weight, as film bosses have told her they want her to stay curvy for her new role.

The former I’m A Celebrity contestant and Popstar To Operastar presenter told The Sun:

“I’ve been asked to star in a Bollywood film as they really like my post-pregnancy figure out there.

“So rather than trying to drop those last few pregnancy pounds, I’m back on the curries.”

Speaking about the new venture, a friend of Klass’s added:

“Myleene loves all things musical and that’s what’s great about Bollywood – it’s acting and dancing. They loved her curves but also her exotic looks.

“It’s early days, but she’s excited to find out what kind of role they will dream up for her.”

It won’t be the first time Klass had turned her hand to acting. In early 2006, the former Hear’Say singer was cast as one of the three women starring in the long-running play The Vagina Monologues and performed in Bromley, Richmond and Brighton. Her run was then extended to include all dates in Nottingham. She has also starred in the Serbian version of The Vagina Monologues in April 2006 in Belgrade.

However, she’s to be disappointed as Myleene told Red magazine that she just “too busy” to get married right now.

Myleene, who of course hosts Popstar to Operastar said of four year old Ava, “She made me a wedding dress.

“It’s like a coil of silk with knitting wool and big sparkly gold frilly bits. It’s fabulous.”

Myleene and Graham, who also have a three-month-old daughter Hero, have been engaged for five years.

33 year old Myleene added that they’d wed, “when we get our act in gear – we’re trying to sort it out”.

Then while speaking about their relationship, Myleene said that she thinks they make a good team despite their differences.

She said, “You’ve never met two people more like chalk and cheese…

“”We don’t like the same music, we don’t like the same food and we don’t watch the same programmes.

“It’s hard to think of what we do have in common but, whatever it is, it’s been ten years.”

Myleene Klass and Emma Willis are reportedly in the running to replace Davina McCall as presenter of the new Big Brother series.

McCall fronted all previous UK series of the reality TV show, but recently admitted that she would not follow the format if it was picked up by another TV channel, after being cancelled on Channel 4.

Yesterday Five announced a two year deal with programme maker Endemol and The Daily Express claims that bosses are considering hiring former Big Brother’s Little Brother host Emma Willis, or Popstar to Operastar presenter Myleene Klass to front the show.

The newspaper also claims that X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is still in the running to land the high-profile job, despite her people denying the rumours a few weeks ago.

After The Daily Star reported that the former Girls Aloud star would join Five, as part of a revenge plan against Simon Cowell, her PR firm took to Twitter to write:

We thought the journalist that made up stories for the Daily Star had quit in disgust. Has he returned for today’s silly splash?

Myleene Klass has admitted that she is a huge fan of The X Factor and especially young boyband One Direction.

The mum of one has recently announced her second pregnancy and says that the teenage singers bring out her strong maternal instinct. She told People:

“With One Direction, I feel like I just want to mother them – they’re so young, they’re just little babies.”

“I like the groups – I like Belle Amie a lot and One Direction … I just think coming from a group I’ve got that partiality to them.”

On what they need to do to succeed on the show, the former Hear’say singer advised Simon Cowell’s acts:

“It’s going to take a lot of work – you listen to the mentors, and every word those guys are saying, I hope that the band is taking on board, because the advice they’re giving them is second to none. They do know what they’re talking about. Maybe it’s my hormones but I do shout at the telly a lot saying ‘Listen!’” she laughed.

Klass admitted that 17 year old Cher Lloyd has also stood out for her.

“I think it’s really quite early to tell because this is only the second week and from a performance point of view, you need time to grow and just bed down and get a feel for everything. But I think that Cher is bedding down very quickly,” she said.

“She’s found her confidence and I think she’s fresh. I think that you would be able to make a good album with her because she’s just got new ideas. There is nobody else like her.”

Myleene Klass has admitted that she enjoyed Cher Lloyd’s performance on Saturday night’s X Factor.

The 17 year old singer performed Jay Z’s Hard Knock Life on the show and afterwards Simon Cowell raved:

I absolutely loved it. As far as I’m concerned you can sing the phonebook because like the group before, I can see the future here. You are exciting, you take risks, you’re interesting, you’re different and I pray to God you are here next week.”I thought Cher did a really good job.

Speaking to The Sun, former One Show host Klass admitted that she agreed with Cowell and said:

“There was something really new about her – she’s really current. When I’m watching I try to imagine that I’m listening to the song on the radio and think whether I would buy it. I thought she was brilliant.”

Myleen also admitted that she had been irritated to see girl group Belle Amie arguing over who got to sing lead vocals on the night. She added:

“There is a lot of talent on the show. I was screaming at Belle Amie. They can’t argue over the little things, they need to work as a group.

“I think they’re brilliant though – and I want to mother One Direction.”

ITV are reportedly planning to axe either Myleene Klass or Alan Titchmarsh before Popstar To Operastar returns next year.

The show was won in January by former Pop Idol star Darius Danesh and due to poor ratings, was expected to be cut from the 2011 schedules. However, ITV have now decided to bring back the show but with a reduced budget and it’s this lack of cash that means one if it’s presenters must be cut.

The Daily Star reports:

Insiders say Myleene, 32, who has a background in classical music, is the front runner, but Alan, 61, is putting up a good fight as he’s a favourite with fans.

An ITV insider told The Daily Star: “Popstar To Operastar may not have been a huge ratings winner but it didn’t do badly.

“There have been many false reports saying the show has been axed but it hasn’t.

“It will have a new look and just one presenter as we thought having two was a bit of an overkill.

“We’re confident that fans will like what we are planning.”

She apparently saw the disturbing scenes when she was filming for her upcoming TV show “.”

The Sun reports that as well as watching the children cage fighting, she also encountered kids of around 10 years old in life threatening situations such as “lion taming.”

Myleene told the paper, “Watching tiny kids fighting in a huge cage in Tennessee in America was a real eye opener, so shocking.

“The thing that shocked me the most was the way they were being watched by adults and they had bikini-clad girls holding up the scorecards…

“It was basically sex and violence, but with little kids!”

She went on to reveal that although the children she saw weren’t allowed to punch each other, there was little else that was barred.

She said, “Watching them do the ‘choke’, as it’s called, was pretty tough.

“And there were some shocking moments when they’d get angry with each other and start doing moves that weren’t in the rules.

“They were getting hurt and there were tears.

“I thought I’d seen some things in my life, but nothing prepared me for this show.”

The show is due to be broadcast on Sky1 later this year.

Myleene Klass and Katherine Jenkins are reportedly planning a new opera reality TV show.

The Daily Mail claims that the show will air on ITV1 and will see current popstars trained to become opera stars.

Klass will present the show, while Jenkins will be one of the judges.

“They are looking for a male host to present with Myleene and a male judge to sit on the panel with Katherine,” a source said. “The producers are very keen on having Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts on the panel.”

The insider continued: “It will be the panel’s job to train popstars to sing opera – and each week one of the hopefuls will be voted off.

“There’s a lot of excitement about having Myleene and Katherine on the same show. They are both big names and they can both be divas.”

Hot on the heels of her former bandmate, Kym Marsh, Myleene Klass has announced that she would love to land a judging role on X Factor.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Klass commented: “I can’t believe I missed the first X Factor show because I was at V Festival. I really love the show. Cheryl is my favourite judge, she’s fabulous, don’t you think?”

She added: “Simon Cowell is a good friend of mine. So who knows, maybe I’ll get to go on the show one day. I’d absolutely love to, it would be an honour.”

Meanwhile, an insider said: “I wouldn’t be surprised if Simon asked Myleene to join the show. He would love a harem of sexy ladies surrounding him, that’s just his style.”
