Natalie Cassidy is said to have reconciled with the father of her baby daughter Eliza.

The Celebrity Big Brother star made contact with Adam Cottrell, her former fiance, when she was evicted from the Channel 5 reality TV show last week it has been reported and against the recommendations of her family, has rekindled her romance with the transport manager.

Adam was sentenced to community service last year, after he was arrested for assaulting Cassidy in her London flat. He claimed at the time that the incident occurred, because he was struggling with an alcohol addiction.

It has been claimed that Adam has sought help for his abuse issues and has had a former restraining order against him lifted. Cassidy’s agent confirmed that the pair are in contact again, but sources close to the former Eastenders actress say that their relationship is moving forward at quite a pace.

A friend told The Mirror:

“Adam is a genuinely lovely guy and he has been working very hard to deal with the issues which had come between them.”

“Natalie loves him very much and they have a strong bond through Eliza.

“They’re enjoying spending time together again and recently celebrated Adam’s birthday together. They are determined to give Eliza the best possible start in life.”

Last night’s Celebrity Big Brother awards ceremony was a bit of a hoot, with Frankie Cocozza winning ‘Best Hair’ and ‘Most Irritating’ housemate and Romeo Dunn picking up the trophy for the ‘Best Smelling’ celebrity.

However the most important accolade was the ‘Best Housemate’ award and Big Brother called Michael Madsen to present it, because he didn’t win any titles of his own.

The American star announced that the trophy had been won by two housemates, Gareth Thomas and Natalie Cassidy. Having just accepted his award for ‘Best Body’, Gareth returned to the podium and said:

‘I really don’t know what to say, except, I love you all from the bottom of my heart. Y’all know I love y’all…God Bless America!’

Before they find out who won the series on Friday, Gareth Thomas, Frankie Cocozza, The Shannon twins, Denise Welch and Michael Madsen were asked to vote in the following categories.

The prizes were awarded as follows:

Best Body: Gareth Thomas

Gareth reacted by jumping on Michael Madsen out of pure elation, pretending to cry and then of course flashing the toned torso that led to the accolade.

Best Hair: Romeo and Frankie

Of course Romeo had already been evicted so Frankie accepted the award and said:

‘It’s a bit of an emotional one for me this one, firstly Romeo couldn’t be with us tonight…but thanks to my hairdresser Jamie Stevens…thank you!’

Best Smelling: Romeo

Once again, Romeo missed out on his big moment so Michael was called to the podium to accept the gong. He laughed and said:

Considering the fact that this is probably the only award that I will be getting, I’ll keep it and pass it on to Romeo. I never noticed any fragrance coming from Romeo, I was never aware of that. I’m sure he desevred it and on behalf of Romeo, God bless you all.

Most Irritating: Frankie

He laughed:

‘F*ck off all of you….no comment!’

Sexiest Housemate: Romeo

Accepting the award for the hunk, Kristina and Karissa said:

‘We’re accepting this award for Romeo, even though it should have been for us. Thank you!’

Funniest Housemate: Natalie Cassidy

Denise lifted her trophy and said:

‘I would just like to say that Natalie sends her utmost apologies but she is with her families and I thinbk that she was not only the funniest but funny inside and out. Well done Natalie!’

Natalie Cassidy has admitted that she would have had a romance in the Celebrity Big Brother house, if the right man had been in with her.

The former Eastenders actress became the fifth person to be eliminated from the Channel 5 reality TV show on Friday night and though she was treated like a mother hen by her fellow housemates, there was never even a hint of sexual tension between her and any of the male stars.

Natalie hit the headlines last year, after she split from Adam Cottrell, following his assault on her in their London flat. The experience hasn’t put Cassidy off relationships and she told The Daily Star:

“I am very open to love again.

“I actually did wonder if I’d have a romance in the Big Brother house before I went in but to be honest if I had liked someone I would have kept that for the outside. Who knows what will happen for me this year.”

Meanwhile, Natalie will be pleased to know that two of the people she was closest to in the house – Michael Madsen and Denise Welch – have kissed and made up once more and even shared a little slow dance last night.

Madsen might be glad that he changed his attitude, as Denise’s husband was issuing threats to him in the media last weekend, if the star made his wife cry again!

Denise Welch and Frankie Cocozza can’t get over the fact that their two best friends in the Celebrity Big Brother house are gone.

On Friday night bookies favourite Natalie Cassidy and The Only Way Is Essex star Kirk Norcross were evicted from the house and eliminated from the Channel 5 reality TV show, after polling the lowest amount of public votes out of all the housemates.

Denise and Frankie have been speculating about how that could have happened and think that perhaps fans of the duo just thought they were safe and didn’t bother to vote.

Frankie said:

I can’t say a single bad word about any of them two people. Honestly I can’t say a bad word.

He added:

That’s the only way that they could have gone, because there is not a chance on this planet…. but how can more people in this country vote for Michael and the twins. It’s weird, it’s really f*cking weird and I don’t care what anyone says, there is something not right there.

Denise speculated:

The only thing in my mind is that unless people thought [they were safe} and said ‘I’m not going to pick up the phone.

Natalie Cassidy became the fifth housemate to be evicted from Celebrity Big brother this evening.

Just an hour after Kirk Norcross was eliminated and said his final goodbye to the housemates, Brian Dowling announced that the former Eastenders actress had polled the lowest number of votes and would be following him out.

It was a shock for the housemates and viewers alike, as Natalie had been bookies favourite to win the series for much of the first few weeks and even today, was still in second place with most British bookmakers.

The mum of one looked ok with the news, even though she confessed just hours before that she was starting to get competitive and didn’t want to leave before the twins.

Upon leaving Natalie told Brian Dowling “What can I say I’m shocked I didn’t think I would go tonight”.

Nicola McLean showed her selfish side last night, when she willingly shredded half of the Celebrity Big Brother housemates’ letters from home, so that she could receive her own.

The mum of two didn’t take more than a few seconds to think about her choice during a surprise task and told her group:

I’d shred theirs for mine, I’m being honest. The girls have not got children and neither does Frankie. People with children should have a letter so that we know our kids are alright.

After shredding Denise, Gareth, the twins and Frankie’s messages from home, the WAG cried and wept like a baby as Gareth read her letter from husband Tom Williams.

She was clearly touched as he recounted stories about her young sons and the stars were excited when the footballer extended an invitation to them all, inviting them round to his and Nicola’s house when the series is over.

Natalie Casssidy was so cross with Michael Madsen this morning that she threatened not to speak to him, however a few hours later she decided to air her differences with the American star.

The Celebrity Big Brother housemate was furious when Michael nominated Denise Welch on live TV last night, telling their fellow stars and all the viewers that the Loose Women panelist is ‘emotionally disturbed.’

Today she pulled him up on his comments and as they prepared dinner together, Cassidy asked if he thought his comments were appropriate for the time and place.

The Reservoir Dogs actor replied:

At the time that I said it, I didn’t say it to be emotionally harsh. I thought it over many times and I thought it over afterwards about many different ways that I could have phrased it. But I realised that no matter what I said or how matter how I said it, she would have broken down in tears.

It’s such an unavoidable issue and it’s so much more her issue than mine, It’s the fact that she won’t accept that and drop the bone.

Natalie commented that Denise has now moved on and won’t be bothering Michael anymore, but he’s not so sure. He added:

I don’t trust her, we’ll just have to see. I’ve made up with her a couple of times. We’ve sat down and I’ve truly embraced her and said ‘let’s stop this.’ But more than once it’s come back to bite me because as soon as she got that opportunity, she couldn’t wait to go rushing in.

I think there are a lot more people that see it from my perspective than she realises but everybody in here is so dead set on being democratically correct in what they say to support each other.

Karissa and Kristina Shannon showed their bitchy side last night, when they called their fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemate Natalie Cassidy fat.

The Playboy models were moaning about the food that had been bought with the shopping budget, saying that they went to the cupboards for a snack and all they could find was ‘cookies and bread.’

The girls complained that they asked for fish and none was bought, neither was there sufficient salad or vegetables to last until the next delivery of supplies was due and the twins were not happy.

As they bitched with the now evicted Georgia Salpa in the bedroom, the girls blamed Natalie for the calorie laden treats stocked up in the kitchen and blasted:

‘The fattest person in the house should not be in charge of the shopping list!’

We can’t wait until Natalie hears that when she gets out!

Natalie Cassidy is not a happy bunny.

The former Eastenders actress was furious in the Celebrity Big Brother house last night, when Michael Madsen nominated her pal Denise Welch, calling the actress ‘emotionally disturbed.’

After the eviction of Georgia Salpa, Big Brother forced the remaining housemates to take part in live nominations in the living room, in full view of their fellow celebrities.

When Michael’s turn to nominate came, he chose Denise and Nicola, saying:

I can’t stand another minute in this house with Denise, I am not the source of this argument…she is. I feel she is emotionally disturbed and like she said it’s either me or her.

Denise quietly wept beside him as he spoke.

Afterwards, Madsen went straight to bed but the matter was not put to sleep. Cassidy was still fuming about the affair and insisted that she will not be speaking to the actor anymore. In fact she was determined to have it out with him and added:

‘I can’t let it lie. He needs to be told that what he said about Denise was wrong.’
