Neil Horan: A Defrocked Priest With Disruptive Tendencies
Britain’s Got Talent do love a bit of publicity but I didn’t think that even they would have took a chance on a man like Neil Horan.
Neil appeared on Saturday night’s show displaying his grand lack of Irish Dancing skills. I watched him perform and wondered how he had gotten through the early auditions and made it to see the celebrity judges when he is obviously not talented but not bad or funny enough to make good TV. It turns out that the BGT producers may have had their own reasons for putting Neil through.
Neil is often referred to as The Grand Prix Priest or The Dancing Priest but the 62 year old is actually an ex-Catholic priest who was sacked for using his sermons to “advance his sensationalist views”. He was cleared in 2004 of indecently assaulting a seven year old girl, he also has a habit of disrupting large organised events.
