According to the Daily Star, Big Brother bosses are going to have the show’s nine previous winners re-enter the BB house to celebrate the show’s 10 year run.
“TV Chiefs want to make it a ‘day to remember’ for fans,” a source told the paper adding,
“This is the sort of thing Big Brother fans have been begging for and will certainly boost viewing figures.”
Rumours are rife about how exactly the nine ex-winners will be re-introduced into the house – and how long they’ll be there – but the favourite theory seems to be that on 14th July, Kate Lawler, Brian Dowling, Craig Phillips, Nadia Almada, Cameron Stout, Anthony Hutton, Pete Bennett, Brian Belo and Rachel Rice may be involved in a “special task” Read more & comment »

Clicking on this image will take you to the touching Daily Mail article about Jade & Jack's engagement
The image above from the Daily Mail is without doubt the most touching, truthful and painfully sad depictions of Jack and Jade’s love that I’ve ever seen. The picture captures the desperately sad fact that despite their love for each other, they know they don’t have a long future, and it makes me weep every time I look at it simply because of the immense honesty of the picture.
And Jade Goody is, among many other things, honest; often painfully so. At one time, I would have said that honesty was born from the lack of sufficient intelligence to lie or carry out a deceit because as I’ve mentioned in my articles about Jade on this site before, when she first shot to fame on Big Brother in 2002, I couldn’t stand her.
I thought she typified the ‘chav’ type of young woman; loud-mouthed, inarticulate, crass, vulgar… in fact, I thought she was exactly what she portrayed herself to be – the ill educated product of a broken, dysfunctional family who lived on state benefits on a rough council estate. The fact that she seemed to be proud of – or at least not embarrassed by – “being thick” embodied for me many of the things that I felt were wrong with young people in this country today… Read more & comment »

The celebrity housemates received their first task today!
It’s called ‘Ego’ and it involves – for the first time ever, and for one show only – the CBB housemates appearing in the closing credits of an episode of Celebrity Big Brother.
So the famous housemates had to decide between themselves who should receive which credit and therefore, where they’d be placed. Read more & comment »

Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips is apparently planning to reunite her former dance troupe Hot Gossip for a new stage show about the life of Kenny Everett.
Hot Gossip shot to fame in the 70s following appearances on The Kenny Everett Video Show and Top of the Pops. Their biggest selling hit was ‘I Lost My Heart To A Starship Trooper’ which featured vocals from opera diva Sarah Brightman.
Apparently, Simon Cowell’s pet popstar Sinitta also stood in as a “ghost vocalist” on a few of their pop songs. Read more & comment »

Well the celebs are well and truly settled into their new pad now and this morning, they received their first shopping, much to their excitement. And who can blame them? After all, it’s literally… hours, since they last got any food!
Meanwhile, Terry’s been reluctantly settling into his role as Head of House but isn’t enjoying it much it seems.
The other housemates must wait on Terry hand and foot and last night, the new HOH was treated to biscuits and cocoa, served by Ben. Read more & comment »
