Nicola McLean has admitted that she wishes she’d never agreed to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house this year.

The former page three model joined the lineup for the Channel 5 reality TV show earlier this month and stayed in the Elstree residence for almost three weeks, until she was evicted following a huge fight with Denise Welch.

The WAG was greeted by a booing crowd and got an incredibly negative reaction from the public following her elimination and she has since admitted that she found the whole thing ‘horrible’ from beginning to end.

Nicola said:

‘It was horrible in there, everything was horrible.’

‘Honestly, it was probably the worst decision of my life to go in there.’

The mum of two previously starred on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in 2008 and insisted that she enjoyed the experience on the ITV show much more, even if she was living outdoors in the jungle for the whole time.

Speaking on This Morning, McLean told Holly Willoughby that she would choose I’m A Celeb over Big brother every time if she had the chance again and added:

‘Please take my advice, not a lot of people take my advice, but go and eat bugs in the jungle.’

‘Do not go into the Big Brother house!’

However, we don’t think Nicola is being completely honest here. There were plenty of times when she appeared to be having a ball in the house and what we really think went wrong was:
a) She totally humiliated herself when she got down and dirty with young Frankie in the hot tub and was embarrassed when she had to face her husband in the real world.

b) She has received such a negative reaction from the public, over her ranting and screaming at eventual winner Denise Welch, that she now realises she may have harmed her career by showing so much of herself in the series.

Gareth Thomas has admitted that things got very out of hand during the big row in Celebrity Big Brother last week.

In scenes not aired on the Channel 5 show, the rugby star stayed with Denise Welch to protect her against Karissa and Kristina Shannon and Nicola McLean, who were furious after she pulled down one of the twins’ trousers.

Thomas admitted that Big Brother bosses locked him and Denise in one room and the three screaming blondes in another, after it looked like things may turn violent.

He told The Daily Star:

“The twins came running to the door and Big Brother locked it just before the girls got to it.”

“That’s when I told Denise I’d have to sit with her because I wasn’t having them going at her.”

Gareth also admitted that he got a little claustrophobic in the house and struggled with the monotonous routine. He added:

“I struggled in there. I was climbing the walls. The boredom and downtime was a nightmare. It was slowly killing me. I had to watch it when I started to get pissed off with everyone around me.”

Nicola McLean was became the seventh housemate to be evicted from the Celebrity Big brother house last night and finally she has spoken out about why she fought with Denise Welch over the Shannon twins and why she shredded her fellow housemates’ letters last week.

The WAG admitted that she is glad to have left the house and be on her way home and explained:

I’ve just been evicted and I feel fine. I’m glad to be out of the house, it was a bizarre experience and I’m happy to see my family and get to see my kids.

It was an emotional roller coaster and I’m glad to be out.

I don’t feel disappointed at all to be so close to the final and not to have made it because I never thought that I would get this far. I thought I’d be first out, so it’s an amazing experience for me and it’s great that i came as far as I did.

On why she chose to shred the celebrities’ letters from home, just so she could get her hands on hers, the blonde model added:

I shredded the letters and the housemates reacted differently to it, if I had the opportunity I would 100% shred them again. My baby is only 22 months old, I also have a five year old. My husband and I also didn’t know if he was going to be in new York or London and I really missed my family. I needed to know they were ok. There were more parents in my group, there was only one parent in the other group.

And on trousergate, McLean stands by her decision to row with Denise, revealing that as a former page three girl, she hates when people make assumptions about her.

The mum of two said:

I love Denise but I think she sometimes did change after a drink. My point was not with Denise as a person, it was the fact that she pulled the twins’ pants down and said they should have been ok with that because they did that for a living. My point is, I was a page three girl and I wouldn’t have liked someone to pull my top up on national TV.

As we enter the final few days of Celebrity Big Brother the house are all up for the public vote…..but it is a vote to win.

Tonight, the sixth person to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house and the person who had received the least votes sonce last Fridays’ evicition of Natalie Cassidy and Kirk Norcross was Nicola McLean.

The WAG was bookies favourite to leave, after she rowed viciously with Denise Welch earlier in the week, after a prank she played on Karissa Shannon.

Upon leaving Nicola told Brian Dowling “I expected it (the boos) I guess it’s because I’m a blonde with big boobs”.

The seventh housemate to be evicted will be revealed during the 11pm show on Channel 5. This year’s Celebrity Big Brother final will take place on Friday evening.

Today two Housemates were responsible for winning items for a luxury hamper – and anything not won by them had to be worn by their fellow Housemates

Nicola and Gareth put themselves in charge of winning the items for the luxury hamper.

They had to describe the items on the conveyor belt to their fellow Housemates outside without using any of the banned words.

All the while, the remaining housemates Romeo Dunn, Michael Madsen, Denise Welch, Karissa & Kristina Shannon and Frankie Cocozza had to guess the food or drink item, in order to win the tasty treats.

However, the ones they failed to identify were blended and sprayed into the celebrities’ faces.

Out of eleven items, Housemates only managed to get three correct, these items were chocolate, beer and hot dogs and have therefore only won ‘luxury chocolates’, ‘alcohol’ and ‘luxury meat products’ for their luxury hamper, which will be delivered later today.

After the recent argument when things got heated in the Celebrity Big Brother house, bookies think that Frankie Cocozza and Denise Welch came out of the furore a lot better than twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon and Nicola McLean.

After the siblings and the WAG attacked Denise for pulling down Karissa’s trousers, young Frankie defended the older woman, who sobbed under the glare of her fellow female housemates’ attention.

Sunsequently, Frankie has raced to the top of the betting with William Hill making him 11/8 favourite to win the show with Denise’s odds also being slashed from 12/1 to 6/1. Conversely, Nicola is the 4/6 favourite to be the first housemate to get the CBB boot on Wednesday evening, with Kristina and Karissa the 9/2 second favourites and Romeo 5/1.

“Frankie and Denise appeared to be victimised by the twins & Nicola as things got heated and while the former have had their odds slashed for victory, the latter appear destined to get the boot on Wednesday,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Celebrity Big Brother Day 18 Update:

2.07pm
Housemates are gathered on the sofas for today’s task. Gareth asks Frankie what his ideal task would be. “A slippery slidey bouncy castle assault course” Frankie beams. Big Brother calls the “biggest honey” to the diary room. The twins immediately say they aren’t going before Frankie steps up to the mark. In the diary room, Big Brother asks Frankie why he thinks he is the biggest honey. “Because all the birds fancy me!” he jokes.

By taking on the role of Queen Bee, Frankie will now have to take part in a spelling bee, not knowing that for every word he spells incorrectly, the remaining housemates will be stung in shock suits. At the end of the task, Frankie has successfully spelt more than five words and so, he has won alcohol for the housemates later that evening. Despite being pleased that he has won some part of the prize, Frankie tells Big Brother that he has “mugged [himself] off.”

3.25pm
The housemates are changing out of their bee costumes following the spelling bee task earlier this afternoon. Denise admits to the girls that she wasn’t adverse to the shocks, saying “I secretly started enjoying it.” “She has that at home innit,” Romeo jokes and the housemates laugh. Nicola starts to tell the group that Denise didn’t receive the shocks and that is why she didn’t jump up and scream like the twins. Although Denise insists that she is used to the shocks because she uses an ab-defining exercise belt, Nicola shouts to Karissa and Kristina “they didn’t shock her girls!” and proceeds to say that she is “lying.”

4.45pm
The twins and Nicola are bonding in the living area and are talking about the loves in their life. “I was engaged to my first boyfriend, lived with my second and married my third,” Nicola says. In the garden, Denise is telling Frankie how she has been feeling, admitting that she’s been on the verge of losing her temper. She continues to tell Frankie that Nicola’s comments about her “lying” made her feel very upset and that Nicola’s new friendship with the twins has made her feel left out, “causing a division again.”

9.15pm
Michael is in the garden, having a cigarette. In the living area, Denise, Nicola, Kristina and Karissa are enjoying a “girly night” and having a good gossip. Denise starts talking about the spelling task earlier on that day and says that she thinks Frankie might have been really embarrassed by the task. Michael walks through the living area and tells the girls that he is in a “bad mood” and is being “grouchy.” “Are you going to bed then?” Denise asks and Michael replies, “I don’t know Denise.” Denise looks awkward and tells the girls, “when he says my name it means trouble.”

10.02pm
Big Brother has started playing music into the house and the girls start screaming with excitement. Denise, Nicola, Kristina and Karissa start dancing on the sofas along to the song, Girls just wanna have fun. Denise and Kristina flash their bras and lift their tops up. Denise then pulls down the top of Karissa’s pyjama bottoms. Karissa jumps off the sofa and says “I don’t know if I’m okay with that right now,” and continues “I wasn’t okay with that, what do I do?” Denise immediately apologises for any offence caused and Karissa says “I’ll forgive you tomorrow but I’m f**king p*ssed. Don’t f**kin talk to me right now” she tells Denise before walking out to the garden, calling Denise a “bitch.”
In the garden, Karissa tells Romeo what has just happened: “She knows I’m a reserved person,” she starts “everything was cool until she pulled my pants down. Kristina can you please say something!” she calls in to her sister.

In the diary room, Karissa tells Big Brother how she is feeling: “Big Brother, I’m pissed off. Everything was cool and then Denise decides to pull down my pants. I’m ready to leave, I wanna go home. I don’t flash my tits or my ass, I feel disrespected. I’m going to sue you guys.” Meanwhile, in the living area Denise is talking over the event with Kristina and says “you get your tits out for a living!” and Kristina corrects “for a magazine.” Nicola tries to take Kristina outside into the garden and tells Denise “if you want it to kick off, I’ll let her back in.” Kristina then shouts at Frankie saying “you’re a 19 year old boy who thinks with his dick. If my sister has a problem, I’ll stick up for her.” Nicola starts saying that despite her career, she would be offended by Denise’s action and Denise then brings up the letter shredding task from the other day, saying that she is upset that Nicola pressed the button so soon. “Denise, go and have another drink babe, and enjoy yourself,” Nicola retorts. Denise then confronts Nicola about calling her a “liar” earlier and Nicola says “you’ve embarrassed yourself babe.” Frankie follows Denise into the bedroom and Nicola shouts over at him for taking sides. She then asks Gareth what he thinks and he refuses to take sides.

10.31pm
Karissa is still in the diary room. Nicola is in her bed, crying whilst reading her letter from home. Denise and Romeo are talking in the garden and Denise says that she “didn’t want this to kick off. It was my thing with Kristina and Nicola came in front.”
In the living area, Kristina is continuing to stick up for her sister: “She’s a 53 year old woman. 53 year old women don’t get in hot tubs with 19 year old boys.” Frankie says that the girls shouldn’t all “gang up” on Denise and Kristina says that Denise put herself in that situation. Denise comes back into the living area to join the group and says that she didn’t mean to be offensive: “I’m not a nasty person, I’m a fun person.”
Nicola, who hears Denise’s voice, jumps out of bed and goes into the living area to ask if Denise is speaking about her. They then talk about the shredding letters task and Denise makes it clear that she also wanted to read her letter from her family. She then tells Nicola, “I’ve had your f**king back in here the whole time in this house” before Nicola shouts to Big Brother “Big Brother, I wanna go home!” In the diary room, Kristina has now joined her sister and tells her “you came here to win, don’t let the game beat you.”

11.35pm
Denise and Michael are in the garden and agree that their “ruckuses” were only on a scale of “3 out of 10” compared to this.
Nicola, Kristina and Karissa emerge from the diary room and Nicola goes to sit on the sofas with Frankie and Gareth.
Denise goes back into the house and everyone sits in silence.

12.13am
In the living area, Nicola tells Denise that she will feel embarrassed when she watches the show back following the night’s events. Frankie interjects but Nicola says that she isn’t talking to Frankie. Denise tells the twins that Nicola used to talk about them before she became their friends. Frankie goes into the bedroom to leave the situation.

12.30am
In the garden, Nicola is continuing to speak with Frankie and Michael. Frankie starts “you was lovey dovey [with Denise] and as soon as Georgia leaves, your tongue is up the girls’ a**e. Since Nat’s gone you can tell Denise has felt left out.”
Denise is getting in to bed whilst the twins are still in the diary room. They agree that they don’t want to “let the fans down.” The sisters agree to move on and hug, telling one another they love each other.

After their row last night – and it was one almighty row – Denise Welch and Nicola McLean managed to put all the bad feeling behind them today in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The ladies shouted and yelled at one another last night, as Nicola defended Karissa Shannon, following Welch’s attempt to pull her trousers down.

The argument got quite out of hand at one point, but thankfully, today both ladies had sobered up and calmed down and Denise approached the WAG in the garden to say:

I just want to apologise if what I said upset you and for the way I said it. I still have feelings about certain things but one of the things I have looked forward to is you and I seeing each other on the outside world.

I know we weren’t drunk-drunk but I was the catalyst and if Natalie had been here I probably would have pulled her pants down and she’d have pulled them down further and I picked the wrong person. It was stupid larking about…..I would like to put it behind us if we can because I am so fond of you.

It was wrong and I’m really sorry and I’d like to be pals.

I think that you’re a great mum and I’m a great mum but we might be different mums and different wives.

Nicola started crying…again and responded:

I knew why you pulled Karissa’s trousers down, had it been me I would have reacted differently.

I really appreciate you apologising because I’m really upset. I admire you.

There was yet another bust up in the Celebrity Big Brother house last night.

After Kristina Shannon rowed with Denise Welch, for pulling down her trousers and trying to convince her to take her top off while dancing, it wasn’t long before Nicola McLean felt she had to get involved.

The twins have been making a big effort to keep the WAG on side in recent days, admitting that it’s part of their game plan to avoid nominations. It seems that the former glamour model is buying it too, as yesterday she turned on her old friend Denise, in defence of the American Playboy bunny.

Nicola got stuck into Welch, yelling in her face:

I was a page three girl for years ok and you flash your boobs openly on telly and you’re cool with that…I’m not!

Had you pulled my pants down or my top up I would have been upset. I’m not cool with showing my body.

Denise wasn’t taking the criticism lying down and hit back, saying there was a lot about Nicola’s actions this week that have upset her too. She ranted:

Nicola I haven’t said a lot of things to you that I’ve wanted to say over the last couple of days. I’m not going to get into that now, because I’m not going to do it. I’ve kept it in for the state of the house and because we’ve had a great relationship and I want to have a great relationship with you on the outside.

McLean continued to shout, and furiously screamed:

All I am saying is that I am not comfortable with my body being shown on telly.

Denise was at the end of her tether and cried:

I’m not comfortable with you pressing the buzzer without consulting anybody else about whether they want their letters from home.

Frankie Cocozza has reportedly decided that he wants to find lasting love.

The former X Factor star has been persuaded to change his ways by his fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemate Nicola McLean, who has been bending his ear about how wonderful her marriage to footballer Tommy Williams has been.

Frankie is best known for his lothario like ways and his love of women….and sex. However it seems that the WAG may have helped him change his ways and converted him to believing that a serious relationship is the way to go.

In the house over the weekend, Frankie told the celebrities:

“I’m getting married the minute I get out of here. Nicola, you’ve changed me.”

A pal close to the singer, told The Daily Star:

“This is the most shocking thing that he’s ever done. But who will be Frankie’s wife?”

He added: “Brian Dowling had better buy a hat.”
