There’s shocking news for fans of US pop star Taylor Swift – who is of course dating One Direction singer Harry Styles – today as it’s been revealed that a “knife wielding stalker” was arrested after trying to break into her home.
The man, named as Jacob Kulke, frighteningly managed to scale a wall and gates that surround Taylor’s £1.6million mansion before he was intercepted by her security guards.
The Daily Star reports that Kulke told police that he was Taylor’s boyfriend and added that he wanted to be with his “girlfriend on her birthday”.
The paper adds, “But Taylor was thousands of miles from the Nashville property, spending her 23rd birthday with her real boyfriend – One Direction’s Harry Styles – at his home in Cheshire.” Read more & comment »

Things are going ever so well for lovebirds Harry Styles and Taylor Swift, and this week, he’s taken Taylor on a tour of some of the top beauty spots in the North of the UK, including the beautiful Peak District…
Which makes me wonder if the One Direction heartthrob is trying to persuade Taylor to move over here and leave behind her native America!
The Daily Mirror reports that Harry took Taylor for a meal in his hometown after meeting up with his parents, and that he later took Taylor for more pub grub at The Rising Sun in Derbyshire.
The pair were also spotted feeding doves and swans in the Lake District, and as if that wasn’t entertainment enough, Harry took Taylor to a Tesco to sample the delights of UK shopping.
No wonder he’s such a babe magnet. A pub lunch AND a trip to Tesco? Taylor’s a lucky girl… Read more & comment »

Fans of One Direction will undoubtedly know that Harry Styles’ girlfriend Taylor Swift flew Hazza back to the UK last week so that he could join his 1D band mates – Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik – at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball where the lads performed a great set…
However, right before they jetted back to the UK – and you can click here to see why the transatlantic journey caused a rift in the 1D camp – the boys were playing gigs at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York, and of course, after the shows were over, there was the obligatory after-party which was attended by all the 1D lads and of course, Taylor.

X Factor winner James Arthur has come a long, long way in just a few months, and in an interview with TV Biz today, he’s revealed that not so long ago, he was stealing from supermarket bins just to eat, smoking pot just to cope with his days and living in a tiny bedsit next door to ex-cons…
He even felt suicidal at one time, and said of himself, “I was a dreg of society.”
But of course, things have changed in a spectacular fashion for James now that he’s an X Factor winner, though to be honest, even if he hadn’t won, I’m sure he would still have gone on to be one of the best – and most assuredly best-selling – artists that the UK has seen for quite some time.
However, he’s also apparently keen to be a screenwriter, so right now, the sky’s the limit for Boro boy Jimmy! Read more & comment »

It’s being reported today that Harry Styles seems to be alienating his One Direction band mates in favour of spending as much time as possible with his new girlfriend, US singer Taylor Swift…
And as we reported over the weekend, when 1D flew back to the UK from the States – after their hugely successful gigs in New York – to perform at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball, rather than fly with his band mates, Harry chose to fly home with Taylor on her private jet.
And according to The Sun today, even though Taylor’s jet could easily have accommodated the rest of 1D – that is of course Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan – neither Taylor nor Harry invited them. And they weren’t impressed.
A source close to the lads told the paper, “There was loads of room for the rest of the band in Taylor’s luxury jet but he didn’t even suggest they travelled together.” Read more & comment »

It may be some consolation to Chris Maloney, who left the contest last night, to know that One Direction, who also finished X Factor in third place, have become the most in-demand XF act ever!
And though it of course has to be remembered that One Direction are something of a phenomenon – having invoked global hysteria, the likes of which hasn’t been witnessed since The Beatles grew their hair long and became pin up boys in the sixties – and not many can hope to replicate their huge success, other X Factor acts have gone on to make a big noise in the music industry despite not winning.
The Sun today reports that a chart of the top five acts in terms of gig sales from the show reveals that 1D, who were runners-up to Matt Cardle and Rebecca Ferguson in 2010, are the most popular. Read more & comment »

As fans of One Direction will know, the lads Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, performed at last night’s Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball, which given they were in America just hours before, was quite a feat of logistics!
However, it’s been revealed today that Harry decided not to travel back to the UK with his 1D band mates and instead, he travelled in supersonic luxury in his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s private jet.
And according to The Sun, Harry’s band mates are becoming increasingly naffed off with the amount of time Harry’s spending with Taylor. As we reported yesterday, he also blew off a tattoo date with Louis and Zayn in order to take Taylor out.
A source close to the 1D lads told the paper, “Her presence has stirred tensions in the band as Harry’s now spending most of his time with her, and jetted into the gig on her private jet instead of coming in with the rest of the lads.” Read more & comment »

One Direction’s Harry Styles and US popster Taylor Swift are the hottest couple since Brangelina – by the way, we’re trying out cutesy names: I’m thinking Haylor or Tarry with the latter being my fave – and while it’s reported that Harry gets on very well with Taylor’s mum, he may be unaware that friends and neighbours in Taylor’s hometown of Hendersonville, Tennessee, are keeping an eye on their girl’s suitors…
And in good southern style, they’ve warned Harry to “treat her nice” and if he doesn’t; well, they have guns. Nuff said.
Hendersonville councillor Scott Sprouse told The Sun, “My advice is for Harry to treat her nice.
“Taylor means a heck of a lot to this town and of course, everyone is very protective of her.
“She is a big star, a local girl and a role model to so many in Hendersonville. No one wants to see her hurt.” Read more & comment »

It really must be love between One Direction star Harry Styles and American pop star Taylor Swift, because not only has he apparently ordered an expensive ring for her this week, he also missed a joint tattoo session with his 1D band mates in order to go on a date with Taylor!
Two of the other One Direction lads, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson, had the initials MSG tattooed on their arms to mark their visit to New York and of course, their performances at the iconic Madison Square Garden. But while they were getting their new ink, Harry took Taylor to a posh restaurant.
Now, given that we know how much Harry loves his tattoos, it really must say something that he missed out on getting a new one to be with Taylor surely? Read more & comment »
