Outgoing American Idol contestant Katie Stevens has admitted that she and some of the other female contestants got very close during their time on the show. Singling out previous contestants Lacey Brown and Paige Miles, the 17 year old singer told USA Today:

Every single one of them deserved to be in the bottom.
Paige Miles has had a bumpy American Idol journey and after last night’s performance we think that journey may be about to end.
Lacey Brown has admitted that she and Paige Miles shed some tears together, after she was eliminated from American Idol last week.
The 24 year old Florida girl revealed that she and AI roommate Paige (who also hails from the Sunshine State) became very close during their time on the show and will definitely stay in touch now that she’s left. In an interview with People, Lacey said:
Paige Miles may not always hit the notes she needs to, but no one could accuse her of being boring.
American Idol contestant Michael (Big Mike) Lynche has revealed that he would love to have a Michael Jackson week on this year’s series of the show. But be warned, if bosses agree with Mike they can expect a clash between him and Paige Miles as they both want to sing the same song.
In an interview with Zap2it, the 26 year old baby daddy said:
American Idol hopeful Paige Miles has admitted that she was shocked when informed that this week’s show theme would be The Rolling Stones.
Speaking to Zap2It at the recent AI final 12 party, the 22 year old Florida girl admitted:
“I’m so stoked for Stones. It caught all of us off guard – we were not expecting them to allow us to sing their music.
