Comic impersonator Paul Burling may not have made the Britain’s Got Talent final three on Saturday night, but reports suggest that he may land his own show after impressing TV bigwigs.

The Harry Hill impersonator is rumoured to be making a pilot TV show, possibly for ITV2 and Paul told The Sun that he even has his hero, Harry Hill’s support. He said:

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has picked her three favourites on tonight’s final show, but admitted that she has no clue which one of them will win.

Britain’s Got Talent 2010: Paul Burling reunites with long lost son

Britain’s Got Talent impersonator Paul Burling has been reunited with his son, after he didn’t see him for twenty years.

Paul fathered Nick, 22, when he was just a teenager. However he split with his mum Sharon soon after she gave birth and lost touch with her and his son, until Nick tracked him down through his professional website.

Paul told The Sun: “I was doing a panto near where Nick and his mum live and he spotted me on the poster. He got in touch through my website and I was like, ‘Wow!’.

Paul Burling: Britain’s Got Talent 2010 Semi Final

Comedian Paul Burling made his return to the Britain’s Got Talent stage tonight for the show’s semi final. Paul impressed the judges at his initial audition with his cartoon impressions and prompted Piers Morgan to say:

“You are the best impressionist we’ve ever seen on Britain’s Got Talent.”

He revealed tonight that he learned his craft at holiday parks all over the country and admitted that he needs to take advantage of the huge opportunity that BGT has presented to him.

Paul Burling auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent before

Britain’s Got Talent hopeful Paul Burling impressed the judges with his comedy routine on Saturday night’s show but what the panel didn’t realise, is that they had actually judged Paul before.

Paul got a standing ovation after his audition in London. Starting off with a cracking Harry Hill impression, the 40 year old then turned his attention to mimicking cartoon characters from Scooby Doo and The Simpsons, leading Piers Morgan to gush “You’re the best impressionist we’ve ever seen.” (VIDEO HERE)
