Paul Potts Wife Starts IVF

The wife of Britain’s Got Talent winner, Paul Potts has recently started IVF treatment to help her conceive.

The couple were having trouble becoming pregnant for a number of years, but IVF was always too expensive and out of reach. Luckily, Paul now has a number one album under his belted and a thriving singing career, so the pair have decided that now it the time to start their family.

A friend told the Sunday Mirror: “Twins seem to run in Paul’s family so he has decided he wants quads. He says he wants four kids the first time round – although of course they will be happy with one.”

Paul Potts Broke In New York

Britain’s Got Talent LogoBritain’s Got Talent winner, Paul Potts was more than slightly embarrassed on his recent trip to New York, due to his lack of cash.

Paul had won £100,000 on the TV show, but the cheque had not yet cleared and his bank refused him an overdraft.

“It was a little bit embarrassing – when I was in New York I didn’t have any money. The bank wouldn’t give us even a £500 overdraft for three days – they refused twice,” Paul told the News of the World. “Yet they knew who we were and they knew what had happened but they just wouldn’t give me a temporary overdraft. A clip of Britain’s got Talent winner, Paul Potts singing Nessun Dorma has become YouTube’s highest rated clip EVER!

The clip has been viewed a massive 6,476,461 times and has received 16449 ratings.

Other clips of Paul’s performances can be found in second and tenth place.

When I first came across this piece of trivia I was astounded and impressed. Paul frequented our forum when Britian’s Got Talent was in the audition stages and has continued to contribute since winning the show. Britain’s Got Talent To Get Primetime Slot

Britain’s Got Talent LogoITV bosses were so thrilled with the performance of Simon Cowell’s Britain’s Got Talent that they are planning to run it for a full series in a Saturday night primetime slot.

The show finished with an audience of 13 million and winner Paul Potts went on to acheive a £1 million pound record deal.

An ITV source confirmed: “It’s definitely a big plan to move Got Talent to Saturday nights.

“But we must fit in with Simon and see if it works with his American Idol filming.”

The 36 year old opera singer and former mobile phone salesman will begin recodring his debut record next week.

Potts said: “I’m over the moon – I can’t believe any of this. Simon’s been true to his word and this has given me the most amazing opportunity. None of this has sunk in yet.”

Many internet forums (not ours of course, we all support Paul wholeheartedly!) have been hiving with nasty comments about Paul, but today he has insisted that he is not the professional singer that people are insinuating he is.

But speaking to The Sun newspaper, in his first in-depth interview last night, he insisted: “I’m no pro. I’ve never hidden anything.

“I am what I am — a hidden talent working a normal day-to- day job. And I’ve never been paid for any of the opera work I’ve done before — if only!”
