Paula Abdul has confessed that she was worried about reuniting with Simon Cowell.
The choreographer and singer formerly worked alongside the music mogul on American Idol and revealed that when he asked her to join the judging panel of his new US X Factor series, she was scared because they have always enjoyed such a ‘demented’ relationship.
Speaking to US Weekly, the ‘Straight Up’ hitmaker confessed that she was nervous when she turned up for the first day of auditions, but added that shge soon found it was ‘nice’ to be back by Simon’s side.

Paula Abdul has claimed that she and fellow X Factor USA judge Nicole Scherzinger are going to make life tough for Simon Cowell on the new TV show.
The former American Idol panellist told The Sun that she has bonded with the younger star and joked that her old pal is going to wish that he never chose her for the show.

The singer and actress has recently reunited with her former American Idol workmate Simon Cowell on the new panel of his X factor show and when asked why he often kept her in the seat beside him, during the audition stages of the new Fox show, the music mogul joked with People magazine and compared her to a dog. Mariah Carey was looking hot when she hit New York last night and as she was spotted enjoying a girly night out, speculation began to grow about her reported role on the X Factor USA panel.
Simon Cowell recently revealed that he is trying to find a role for Mariah Carey on his new TV talent series.
The 41 year old diva gave birth to baby twins in April of this year and so couldn’t join the panel for the auditions stages in early 2011, however the music mogul has admitted that he wants her on the show in some form or another and her idea is to become the ultimate ‘judge of judges.’

We liked Nicole Scherzinger when she appeared on The X Factor in the UK last year. She seemed genuine yet honest and we enjoyed the influence she seemingly held over Simon Cowell, while they deliberated over which contestants would advance to the next round.
However, she has begun to really irritate us in recent weeks, as she came over all sycophantic after landing a job on the US version of the show.
Ever since Cowell sacked Cheryl Cole and gave her seat on the judges panel to the Pussycat Doll, she has been gushing and licking the arse of her fellow X Factor stars, today it was Paula Abdul’s turn.

She may be long gone from X Factor USA, but Paula Abdul proved she hadn’t forgotten our Cheryl Cole when she tweeted her a rather “slushy” birthday message yesterday.
The Sun reports that Paula tweeted, “Wow it’s already June 30th! Happy Birthday to the beautiful & multi-talented #CherylCole! I miss your fiery sweetness! 
“#CherylCole You’re the very stuff of stardom sweetheart- I’m anxiously waiting w/ open eyes& ears to see what you have in store! Love u! xoP”
Cheryl and Paula of course worked together for just days before Cheryl was unceremoniously sent packing back to the UK, and Nicole Scherzinger hopped in her newly vacated judging chair.
And apropos of Nicole, she celebrated her 30th yesterday, and her gift from Simon was a T-shirt bearing the legend ‘I heart Simon’. Oh bless. Read more & comment »

Nicole Scherzinger is learning some lessons from Cheryl Cole and is making sure she does NOT get in between fellow X Factor judges Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell.
Cole incurred the wrath of ‘Saula’ fans last month, when she sat between the two stars at an American audition venue, she was later sacked from the reality TV show.

Cheryl Cole has shown Paula Abdul that there really are no hard feelings, by sending her a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
The women became close during Cole’s brief stint on The X Factor USA and after turning up to the latest auditions for the show in New Jersey, Paula received the thoughtful gift and took to Facebook and Twitter to share some photos.

Paula Abdul has poured scorn on rumours that she was the reason behind Cheryl Cole’s recent sacking from The X Factor USA.
It had been reported that Fox bosses were concerned about Cole’s apparent ‘lack of chemistry’ with the former American Idol judge. However, Paula has took to Twitter to insist that actually, she and the ‘Promise This’ hitmaker are great friends and get on well.

Cheryl Cole is reportedly keen to settle down and start a family, after witnessing the existence of her fellow X Factor judge Paula Abdul.
The former Girls Aloud singer divorced her cheating husband Ashley Cole last year, after he was reported to have cheated on her at least five times during their marriage. However, insiders say that she is keen to get hitched again, as she’s afraid her career will take over her life and leave her like Paula, pushing 50 with no husband and no children.
