Harper Collins have this week offered Big brother winner and Tourettes sufferer, Pete Bennett, a £1 million book deal.
The book will be based around his life story, his struggles with Tourettes, his drug addictions, and no doubt the story of his apparition is bound to be included.
A Harper Collins sorce stated:
“This is hugely exciting for us. We have been watching him from the beginning and he has inspired us all.”
No doubt this one will be on the ‘must have’ christmas list!

Rumours are flooding the web that Big brother winner Pete Bennett and his housemate girlfriend Nikki Grahame are on the verge of breaking up.
It is said that while Nikki’s feelings for Pete are genuine, she is very upset at the fact that all of the TV offers and deals are being offered to Pete. All the while her publicist is on crisis management as each day another shocking revelation is made about Nikki in the tabloids.
A source revealed to the Daily Record:
“Pete can take his career any way he wants - the world is his oyster.
“He is a publicist’s dream. “Our aim is to minimise the damage caused by the revelations of her past.
“We must do this before we even start to think about drumming up work offers.” In the past week Nikki has admitted to working for a escort agency and been pictured on a porn website in lesbian-style poses.
Nikkis friend commented: “Nikki was left reeling from the fact she came fourth in Big Brother and it has gone from bad to worse since the show ended.
“Her feelings for Pete are genuine, but at the moment it just isn’t working.
“It would be okay if they got to see each other regularly, but they aren’t, and this problem is being compounded by Nikki’s jealously of Pete.
“She knows she isn’t seeing Pete because he is so popular and is doing so well work wise, while she has nothing in comparison.
“She is just wound up and frustrated it hasn’t gone her way.
“So they have decided a clean break from each other - for the time being - is the best way forward.”

The Manchester Evening News reported
Pete’s victory cost bookies more than £4 million, according to Ladbrokes.
He attracted a £25,000 bet - the biggest laid by Ladbrokes during this series - as well as a rather less ambitious 25p bet from one Scandinavian-based punter.
And within the last 10 hours a £75,000 wager was placed on Pete with William Hill.
Ladbrokes spokesman Nick Weinberg said: “Both Pete and Glyn were bad results for us.
“But we were cheering on the Welsh lad as the lesser of two evils.
“Pete’s victory rounded off a miserable series for bookies. We took a pounding on every eviction night because it was pretty obvious who was going each time.
“It’s definitely bread and water in the Ladbrokes canteen for the foreseeable future.
Ladbrokes believe the betting for the next series of Big Brother - the eighth - could top £8 million.

For those who have missed watching Pete on their TV screens since the end of Big Brother 7, take heart!
It is rumoured that Pete Bennett has been offered his own show by Endemol, the company responsible for the making of Big Brother. The show will centre on Pete’s band ‘Daddy Fantastic’, and cameras will follow the band as they perform at venues all around the country.
“Cameras would get backstage access to Pete and the band and film their shows,” a source told The Sun.
“It’s likely to be similar to the American TV show that launched The Monkees in the 60s.
But Daddy Fantastic are such characters it’ll probably be more like This Is Spinal Tap.”

This weekend the tabloids have been full of the life stories and first interviews with the now released Big Brother housemates.
The Sunday Mirror reported today that while they entertained young Glyn Wise with five lovely lap dancers he told all about his new-found obsession with fake breasts. He went on to share the story of how he lost his virginity on a Welsh hillside and that he now wants to move to the bright lights of London.
The Sunday Mirror also contained the story of Aisleyne and how she thinks that she is the “real winner”. She revealed that she will never speak to Grace Adam-Short ever again saying “I still haven’t forgiven her for throwing a glass of water over Susie. I completely blanked her at the after-show party on Friday. There’s one b**** who don’t know herself.”
Aisleyne also shared her thoughts on Nikki and Petes relationship saying “I’ve had my doubts from the start,” she said. “I know he genuinely cares for her. But I know the world that Nikki comes from is all glitz and glamour - fake nails, fake hair, fake boobs. That’s as far removed as you can possibly be from what Pete is all about.
“The more I’m getting to learn about Nikki, the more sceptical I’m getting about her relationship with Pete.”
The Daily Mail carried Petes story on its front page, and tells the tale of what Pete intends to do with his £100,000 prize money. He said he wanted to win ‘to pay off my mum’s mortgage so she can finally live her life because ’she looked after me for so long’.
The People and The News Of The World report that Pete has finished with Nikki. While Nikki was wishing that she could be reunited with Petey, Pete was telling The People:
“Nikki’s so different to me. All I’m thinking about now is being friends with her. I’ve not even thought about marrying Nikki. I’m not sure if I’m even in to marriage.”
And he admitted: “Mum is more important than any money or Nikki. It’s all about my mum.”
The News of the World also tells about Petes imminent reunion with his long lost dad Mark Bennett.

I can’t believe its over!

Its over! Pete Bennett is the winner, and Glyn Wise came a close second.
Its so nice to see nice, decent people winning for a change. Its a massive difference from last year when self obsessed Anthony Hutton stole first place.
Glyn cracked me up when leaving the house as he belted out “Here I go again on my own” in his cutest Welsh accent. He then managed to pick up a Wales flag from somewhere and wrapped it around him for the press photos.
I am so glad that Pete Bennett and Glyn Wise were in the final two. It couldn’t have happened to two better people.

The day is finally here! In approximately ten and a half hours we will finally know the winner of Big Brother 7.
General consensus is still that rocker and tourettes sufferer Pete Bennett will take first place, but bookies believe that second place will be strongly contested by Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace and Glyn Wise.
If the choice was mine I would see Glyn in first place, Pete in second with Jennie coming in third. Pete is a great guy, but his antics with Nikki this past week have brought him down ever so slightly in my estimation. She is a spoiled diva, who can at times be an incredibly nasty piece of work, although Pete is a genuinely nice man, in my eyes he is somewhat guilty by association.
With Glyn Wise you see what you get. His winning would in some ways bring us back to the glory days of early Big Brother, where the nice guys like Craig Phillips and Brian Dowling get the prize.
Paddy Power are offering good odds on Glyn also. If you place a bet today you will get odds of 7-1, add this to the free £10 bet that you can get in conjunction with Unreality TV and you’ll be laughing all the way to the bank!
GLYN TO WIN!

Ahh trouble in paradise! Nikki Grahame and Pete Bennett have been loved up all week, and practically attached at the lips, but it seems that reality has begun to set in.
Both housemates are nervous about the final tomorrow night, and their tempers seem to be bubbling dangerously near the surface!
Earlier today Pete appraoched Nikki saying:
“So what’s wrong with you, man?” Pete asked Nikki. “I am in happy mode, I am happy.”
“I have told you that there is nothing to worry about and you have taken something I said out of context,” Nikki whined to her love.
“I am safe, not angry with anyone. Safe.” Pete persisted. “Don’t be upset and down.”
But having just seen Pete talking to Aisleyne, Nikki was a bit upset: “What did she say in the kitchen? Did she say ‘Nikki is p***** off with me?’”
“No!” Pete said. “Don’t be accusing me of nothing. I am in happy mode…don’t take it out on me!”
“If there was something to tell me, don’t keep it inside or tell Aisleyne instead,” Nikki continued.
Losing his patience, Pete snapped: “I didn’t get anything off you, so I can tell who I want what I want!” Pretending to pull his hair out, he reiterated: “I can tell who I want, what I want!”

A few weeks ago you would have been forgiven for thinking that Pete Bennett and Glyn Wise had Big brother all tied up. It was widely accepted that one of them would win, most likely Pete, but no one else even came close!
Slowly but surely things are changing!
Paddy Power has this week slashed the odds on Aisleyne winning the series. They are tipping Aisleyne as second likely to walk away with the winners prize, right behind Pete.
I personally have supported Pete and Glyn all the way, but with Pete’s recent excessive slobbering over Nikki I have to admit that the shine has worn off. I don’t particularly like Nikki, she is entertaining but false and whiny and annoying and loud and….oh I could go on for hours. So I have to wonder what Pete sees in her. I imagine that Pete would be a good influence on Nikki, but I just can’t see what he gets out of the whole thing, she is one high maintenance girl!
I still love Glyn, and he is my favourite to win, but Paddy Power and several other bookies are convinced that Aisleyne from the hood has a real chance. I can’t see it personally, but then I would never have predicted Anthony Hutton to win last year so what do I know?
If you fancy a flutter on who will be the winner of Big Brother 2006, click on the Paddy Power image/link on the left hand side of the page and you will be awarded a FREE £10 BET to place on your favourite housemate!

Pete Bennett and Nikki Grahame (also known as Pikki, due to their recent aversion to seperation) have become the latest in a long line of Big Brother love stories. But never since Paul and Helen have I seen one so sweet.
Sure, I am cynical like everyone else. Would Nikki have looked twice at Pete in the real world, probably not. But maybe her stint in the house has opened her eyes. maybe she will now start to realise that beauty is only skin deep.
The loved up pair have spent the whole day so far, cuddling in bed and whispering sweet nothings into each others ears. Despite Big brother sounding several alarms in a bid to move them on, they keep ending up in the same spot doing the same things.
I hope they last outside the house, I really think Pete could be good for Nikki. She’d never find a nicer bloke.
July 10th, 2006 by Lisa McGarry. Tags: Aisleyne Horgan Wallace, Big Brother, big brother 2006, big brother 7, Nikki Grahame, Pete Bennett, Spiral
Big Brother housemates last night had an absolute snog-a-thon as they played spin the bottle once again.
Aisleyne snogged both Pete and Nikki, but drew the line at Spiral, to who she only granted a peck.
To the casual observer it definately appeared as though both Aisleyne and Pete had been waiting for weeks to lock lips, and despite receiving the evil eye from both Nikki and Spiral, the pair snogged for longer than the required five seconds and seemed to really enjoy the experience!
It wasn’t just Spiral who left the game feeling a bit put out though. Jayne was upset Michael that didn’t want to snog her and Michael was upset that Richard didn’t want to snog him. Self confidence levels have reached an all time low!
July 7th, 2006 by Lisa McGarry. Tags: Big Brother, big brother 2006, big brother 7, Lea Walker, Pete Bennett
Lea Walker has finally been evicted from the Big Brother house. Well she hasn’t actually left yet, but in about 20 minutes I hope never to see her again!
When Davina announced her departure, Lea predictably broke down into floods of tears, telling Pete Bennett how she loves him “proper” and he is the most amazing person she has ever met in her entire life.
If I was Pete, I would be breathing a sigh of relief right now. With Lea gone he will be free to talk to, flirt with and snog anyone he wants without encountering the porn star’s evil eye. He will avoid death by suffocation of the breasts, and will no longer have to spend hours comforting lea after yet another psychological breakdown.
Maybe now we will see the real Pete…….
July 3rd, 2006 by Lisa McGarry. Tags: Big Brother, big brother 2006, big brother 7, Imogen Thomas, Pete Bennett
Just a few nights ago, Imogen was telling her fellow housemates how highly she thought of Pete Bennett, and how she would like to spend more time with him and get to know him better.
Now it appears that she has started to do just that.
Catching a moment alone with Pete this afternoon, Imogen sat down next to him on his bed and let him know that she thinks a lot of him.
“I want to have a conversation with you because there are always people around you,” Imogen said looking into Pete’s eyes.
“I wish it wasn’t like that. If you ever want to talk I’m always here.â€?
Cynical people may say that Imogen has realised the extent of Petes popularity and wants to align herself with a winner, however I am prepared to give her the benefit of the doubt and say that she has just woken up to Petes genuine personality, and it is like a breath of fresh air after all the bitching and nastiness in the house.

In a visit to the diary room yesterday, Pete Bennett described his dismay with Lea’s jealous behaviour.
He described Leas questions and interrogations each time he speaks to another girl, and told Big Brother about the girls reading into everything he says and does.
It seems as though Pete’s patience with his fellow housemates is beginning to wane. Yesterday he threw his glass into the pool after a run in with Lea, I wonder how long it will be before he loses his temper proper?

Porn Star Lea Walker has managed to ward off two rivals so far, namely Lisa and Nikki, and has successfully kept sweetie Petey (aka Pete Bennett) all to herself.
But she is beginning to sense more competition for Pete’s affection in the form of Glamour model Aisleyne and she is not happy about it.
She cornered Pete this afternoon, and asked him:
“What’s going on with you and Aisleyne?” Pete looked puzzled. “I can’t talk to you when she’s there,” added Lea in a hurt tone.
“There’s nothing going on,” replied Pete.
“Really?” asked Lea. “You were talking earlier and I came in and you said ‘I’ll tell her later’.”
“That didn’t mean anything,” Pete retorted.
“If you like her why don’t you tell her,” she sulked.
“It’s not like that,” Pete repeated patiently.
“I thought you fell for her, I thought you’d changed,” said Lea. “You’re like her sidekick; wherever you go, she goes.”
“I get on with her, that’s all,” said Pete finally.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Aisleyne took a nasty fall on some spilled oil, or broke her nose while tripping over Lea’s foot. I imagine Lea would be a pretty dangerous enemy to have!
