Former tabloid royalty Katie Price and Peter Andre have reportedly agreed to be seen in public together again.

The couple first met in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, married, had two children together and then split in May 2009. The split was not amicable and both parties criticised the other in the press, often questioning each other’s parenting skills and choice of partners.

However insiders claim they are ready to put all the acrimony behind them and start functioning as a family again.

Sources claim the pair will reunite over Christmas – for the sake of their children – but insist there will be no romance involved.

A family friend told The Sun: “They’re ready to move forward together and have discussed being seen in public again.

“It’ll be day trips with the children – working things out generally and taking those important steps to improve the relationship.”

The source added: “It’s not romantic – but they know there’ll be speculation.”

Peter recently admitted that he still cares for his ex wife and speaking to Piers Morgan on his ITV chat show he confessed:

“I love her as the mother of my kids. We’re building bridges to try and be friends.”

The former glamour model even tweeted her ex-husband before he returned to the Australian jungle, to take part in ITV’s I’m A Celebrity….a sure sing that things ware thawing between the pair.

Pete previously claimed that he and Price would never reunite, but then who could tell what these two would do if the money and the magazine deal was right?

Peter Andre returns to our screens with a special Christmas instalment of his hit ITV2 reality series. We’re up close and personal with the father, singer, TV star and businessman, as he prepares for Christmas, Team Andre style.

In between a festive frenzy of turning on Christmas lights and performing to hoards of fans across the UK, Pete attempts to organise the perfect Christmas dinner for his nearest and dearest.

Pete and the boys get into the festive mood when a field of turkeys turn out to be the perfect audience for Pete’s one-liners – And back home the kids write their notes to Father Christmas and hang up their stockings.

Throw in a Secret Santa for the kids and a sing song around the piano and Christmas at Pete’s promises to be a magical treat.

Former ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ contestant and pop singer Peter Andre will be entering the jungle tomorrow (Wednesday night). Celebrities will be given a laminate announcing a day of treats. In order to win their first treat they must all get up and dance in the style of music played into camp.

Some of the songs they will have to dance to will be ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘Cotton Eye Jones’ and ‘Mysterious Girl’. At the end of the dancing, a large box will enter camp with the words ‘TREAT’ written on the side & a large ribbon wrapped around it. Using a key the celebrities will then open the box and a surprise out will pop – Peter Andre.

Peter will then spend the whole day in camp and his first mission will be to inform the celebrities that they have to come up with a new jungle song. The celebrities will be given instruments including bongos, tambourines, and a guitar and given one hour to compose an original song and perform it to Peter to receive another treat.

In the early evening a laminate for a quiz called ‘The Hot Tub Challenge’ will go into camp. The celebrities will then have to split into two teams of three. The teams will take it in turns to select a question from a pot and the celebrities name from a bag to see who answers it. The winning team will then win a hot tub party with Peter Andre.

Peter then spends dinner with all the celebrities in camp and afterwards only takes the winning team to his party which will includes romantic mood lighting and champagne on ice.

After the party Peter will return to say his goodbyes and leave camp.

Peter Andre is said to have reignited his relationship with ex-girlfriend Angela Mogridge in Australia.

The reality TV star returned to Oz last week, to take part in ITV’s I’m A Celebrity. He first appeared in the series in 2004, when he met his now ex-wife Katie Price. During his return visit, the dad of two has reportedly hooked up with his old flame, who once acted a Katie’s assistant during her time in the jungle.

Pete has described the blince beauty as his ‘perfect woman’ in the past and she came to stay in his London home during the summer.

A source told The Sun that they are very much romantically involved and added:

“Peter and Angela looked really close on their day out.

“They weren’t happy to be snapped together.”

Maybe that’s why Katie Price is saying she wants to make her jungle comeback!

Peter took part in his first bushtucker trial in seven years at the weekend, but while Jessica-Jane Clement lifted a whopping six stars just minutes before his attempt, he only managed to grab two. It’s just lucky that no campmates are relying on him for food!

Peter Andre made his big I’m A Celebrity comeback last night and took part in his first bushtucker trial in seven years.

The ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker of course enjoyed a renewed bout of fame after his appearance on the show in 2004 and even met his now ex-wife Katie Price while living in the jungle.

Last night he returned to the Australian camp and on the ITV2 spinoff show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here NOW!, he took part in the Fair Dunk-Um, trial, which Jessica Jane Clement had faced earlier in the evening.

As he was hoisted up to start the task, the dad of two joked:

‘I am actually really excited… do you understand? Not excited like that, excited!’, as he pointed to his crutch in his harness before he started.

However his light hearted attitude seemed to slip when he moved on to a kart, which was full of snakes. At that point the star started to look worried and commented:

‘Okay that is a little bit scary…a little bit daunting.’

At the end of the trial, a gunge covered Andre looked slightly disappointed that he had only earned two stars, while Jessica landed six for her campmates earlier.

But before leaving the set, he tried to get his own back on Joe and moved in for a hug, saying:

‘See girls, that’s what you get when you kiss Peter Andre. He is full of snot.’

Peter Andre is about to enter the I’m A Celebrity jungle and before he made his big return, he received a surprising message of support.

Relations between Pete and his ex-wife Katie Price have been frosty since their breakup in 2009, however yesterday the busty model tweeted him and insinuated that they are now on better terms.

She wrote:

‘@mrpeterandre good luck in OZ and remember what I said.’

The ITV show has a certain history for the couple of course, as they both met on the 2004 series and got married a year later. Katie and Peter went on to have two children together, before splitting two years ago.

Peter will appear as a special guest and not as a campmate this time round, but he insisted that he is not looking for love in the outback and told Metro:

‘The last time, I came here single, I ended up walking out and getting married.’

‘This time I’m going to try and stay single.’

We’ve heard that Jessica Wright – who is in Australia to support her brother Mark – might have something to say about that!

Peter Andre has hinted that he may be about to return to the I’m A Celebrity jungle!

The dad of two – who met his ex-wife Katie Price on the ITV show when he competed in 2004 – has now admitted that he thinks he may be about to go back in.

Peter, who let’s face it is always up for a chance to be on TV and promote his brand, told The Daily Mail:

“They’ve blocked one day out and they’ve told me, ‘You’ll see what happens’.”

“I don’t know what they’re doing. Am I going in?

“I’m looking forward to it, though. I wouldn’t mind going in there, as long as I’m not competing. I’d definitely drop in there for a day or two to have some fun.”

Neighbours star Ian Smith – aka Harold Bishop – entered the jungle this week to host a gameshow task set for the celebrities, so perhaps Peter would take on a similar sort of role.

Pete has been back on the set of the reality TV series for a few days, as he was taking part in ITV2 spin off ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now’ and admitted that it was ‘emotional’ to be back.

Since his time in the jungle, he and Katie got married, had two children and divorced, so he has a lot to look back on. He confessed:

“It’s been emotional to return here. I had some mixed feelings yesterday. I’ve been back to Australia since the jungle, but never back there.

“The last time I came here single, I ended up walking out and getting married. This time I’m going to try and stay single.”

Speaking about his new books, which he hopes will develop into a full range, Pete told The Sun recently:

“I’ll start with this and see how it develops. If you look at Harry Potter, they start from really young and you grow with them, so I’m hoping this could be something like that.”

One of the stories features a single dad and it is believed that the tale borrows heavily from Andre’s own personal life after his split from Katie Price, the mum of his two children Junior, six, and Princess Tiaamii, four, in 2009.

It’s this years ‘must see’ show and anyone who was fond of the original film version of Ghost, starring Patrick Swayze, have been far from disappointed at the screen version.

Now, it is rumoured, that Peter Andre will be stepping into Swayze’s shoes to star as the male lead, Sam, in the West End Blockbuster.

Andre, who’s bulging CV already boasts singing, dancing and presenting, has reportedly signed the contract which will see him tread the iconic West End boards later this year, with a special recorded performance being made for Children in Need.

Peter Andre has claimed that Amy Childs would be an ‘amazing’ Celebrity Big Brother housemate.

The busty red head announced last week that she was leaving The Only Way Is Essex and reports have since suggested that she has accepted an offer to enter the Big brother house, when the show launches on Channel 5 next week.

Speaking about the possibility of his mate taking part in another reality TV show, Andre wrote in his column for new! magazine:

‘There are a lot of rumours that Amy Childs is going to be in this year’s Celebrity Big Brother and, if they’re true, I think she’s going to be amazing.’

Although he has previously denied rumours that he and the 21 year old beauty are dating, the dad of two certainly does talk about her a lot and he continued to rave about her, writing:

‘She would be the perfect housemate because she’s sexy, funny and sweet. She’s the whole package. In fact, if she does do it, I really wouldn’t be surprise if she won.’

We wouldn’t be one bit surprised if their joint manager Claire Powell wrote the whole thing!
