Peter Andre has claimed that he has no thoughts on what his ex-wife is doing on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity, because he isn’t watching the show.

After facing a barrage of questions Andre commented on his Twitter page: “Hope you are all well. I know a lot of you have asked me about my thoughts on I’m A Celeb, but unfortunately this year I haven’t seen it.

“I do love the show, but once kids [are] in bed I hit the gym (at home), or like tonight was working.”

He may not see the show, but Peter’s ears must be burning after Katie’s repeated references to him and their marriage.

Alex Reid is surely not a happy man. How hard it must be to watch your girlfriend reminisce about her ex-husband in front of millions of people? Katie Price said she was in the I’m A Celebrity jungle for closure, but last night she rambled on about Peter Andre again!

TV design expert Justin Ryan brought the subject up saying: “One of the hardest things about splitting up with Peter and it must be so much more difficult for you is the division. Camp Katie and Camp Peter.

Katie replied “I don’t know who started all that. It’s pathetic. We’re both human beings.”

Justin continued “But the media dividing your world and the media trying to prise things apart when it could maybe have been amicable.”

Katie agreed. “So many people get divorced. So many people every day, you know.”

Justin replied, “But it must be so much harder when you’re in the media and in the spotlight and you’ve got the world telling you that he’s on that side and she on this side.”

Katie replied that “So that’s why in a way, me being in here, what can they write? They can’t say I’m doing this, doing that. I’m in here. What can they write? It’ll be interesting to hear what they say.”

Sam joined in. “Is that why you came on here do you reckon?”

Katie replied. “Just a little break as well. What else can they write? What can I possibly be doing wrong? When Harvey was in hospital I phoned Pete straight away and I told him but in the papers it said I never told him. It’s like crap. So that’s why I let it go over here (my head). It’ll all settle hopefully in the New Year. New beginning for everyone. At the end of the day it’s the children. I don’t want them to suffer.”

Justin suggested that it would be good if the two could remain friends.

“I’d love that” replied Katie. “I’d absolutely love that. If I had it my way, I’d still have Pete eventually when he comes around to come up, you know when the kids have birthday parties us both be there. It’s nice for the kids to have both their parents and both get on.”

Sam asked if Peter wanted that. “I don’t know. I don’t know that whole side of it. I don’t know” replied Katie. “I think Junior sort of knows. I think they all . . . they’re going to be affected by it in their little way.”

Sam said that she hoped that the couple would end up talking for the children’s’ sake. “It will happen. It’ll probably take a few years” mused Katie.

“A few years?” questioned Sam astonished.

I’m A Celebrity’s Katie Price has admitted that she finds it weird being back in the jungle without Peter Andre and keeps expecting him to walk right past.

Katie met Peter on I’m A Celebrity six years ago. The pair later got married, had two children and recently divorced.

Katie told Justin and Sabrina: “I was thinking that earlier. I was having a shower and I’m sitting on a rock thinking, ‘I expect Pete to walk past.’ Is so surreal. I’ve been married, had kids, and been divorced. It’s all over. The whole circle and I’m back here. So weird.”

Colin said: “It’s never over because you’ve got kids.”

Katie replied: “Too much has happened now. So much damage has been done. I just want to forgive half the stuff that’s happened. But like I say, I forgive, won’t forget but I forgive. I don’t regret it at all. I had a really good six years. We’ve done loads together. Brilliant. Such a laugh.”

Later in the Bush Telegraph she said: “Those whole six years have gone so quickly and so much has happened. I’m like, ‘Oh my God, this is a dream.’ But it’s not. It’s reality. Sad really but there you go. It’s reality.”

I get the feeling that Katie Price is hoping for a reunion between herself and ex-husband Peter Andre. In an interview with OK! magazine she admitted that she hopes Andre will watch her on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity and see ‘the girl he married.’

Price said: “Hopefully he’ll watch the show and realise what a decent person I am.

“The girl he married, not the monster that’s been created in the press.”

She continued: “The weird thing is that the Palazzo Versace hotel where all the contestants stay is about 10 minutes from where Pete’s family live.

“I hope they watch the show too and think, that is the Kate we all know.”

She went on to describe how she felt when she first put on her new jungle kit. Katie told the magazine: “I looked at myself in the mirror and first of all I felt really excited, but then I was quite sad.

“It brought back so many memories of Pete. It just hit me and I suddenly felt so upset about the way things turned out.”

I hope Peter doesn’t fall for all this clap trap. It’s time for him to find a nice girl and leave Katie with her weird, cross dressing, cage fighting, freaky nosed boyfriend.

Peter Andre has revealed that I’m A Celebrity bosses wanted him to return to the show with his ex-wife Katie Price. Peter wisely turned them down, saying that he felt it would be ‘moving backwards.’ Also he really doesn’t need to repair his image with the British public in the way Jordan does.

In his column for new! magazine Andre said:

“As much as I love the people at ITV – I am keen to move forward.”

He added: “More importantly, I can’t even begin to contemplate being away from the kids for a month.”

He added: “The good news is this means I’ll have the kids to myself, which is amazing.”

Peter won’t be letting the kids watch the reality V show but conceded that he would “Obviously let them see any messages she gives them.”

Peter Andre has pulled out of his I’m A Celebrity job, after hearing that Katie Price would be on the show.

Peter was due to fly to to Australia this week and provide behind the scenes coverage of the show for ITV’s This Morning. However The Mirror reports that he has now pulled out of the role saying that it would be “totally improper” for him to be there.

A source said: “Pete was really looking forward to going back to the jungle but as soon as he found out that Katie was going to appear, he said there was no chance in hell he would go.

“Pete reckons there’s no way he could speculate on Katie’s antics and any outback flirtations in an unbiased way. This Morning executives are livid.”

Peter Andre has insisted that he would take a lie detector test to prove that he hasn’t slept with anyone since splitting from Katie Price. This couple get more like Jeremy Kyle candidates every day!

Andre told The Mirror: “I’ve been accused of having this secret girlfriend and I still look around the room and think, ‘Where is she?’. I feel frustrated at all these silly playground put-downs linking me to different women.

“So far I’m supposed to have slept with my best mate Nik’s wife Michelle Clack, Chantelle Houghton, Nicola McLean, Alesha Dixon, my manager Claire and my nanny!”

He added: “But for every person I’ve been accused of sleeping with, I’d take a lie detector test and I’d be willing to stand up in court and swear on oath that it’s not true.

“There will come a time where I’ll be with someone and then I’ll be told I was seeing them all along. You just can’t win. But I don’t have a girlfriend and I haven’t slept with anyone.

“I’m not a prude but I don’t want to rush into bed with just any girl. Yes, I’m a hot-blooded Greek guy and I’m like any other man but it hasn’t been my priority since the split.”

Estranged couple Peter Andre and Katie Price have reportedly checked into the same London hotel. Could a reconciliation be on the cards?

The Daily Star reports that the pair both checked into the Mayfair Hotel last night, after being reunited by Katie’s sons bedside last week.

“First she swanned in, all boobs and hair. Moments later Pete arrived with a manager called Nicola and headed straight for his room,” a source said.

“We all thought they must be secretly getting back together. How can they end up picking the same hotel in a city the size of London? It just seems too much of a coincidence.”

A spokesperson for Andre said: “Peter is an ambassador of the hotel and has stayed many times.”

Peter Andre has revealed that he was attacked by a gang of men wielding knives, when he lived in Australia. Andre admitted that nearly having his throat slit by the men, led to a string of panic attacks and eventual psychiatric treatment.

He told Live magazine: “One night I went out quite late to get something from a shop. As I was walking down the street I noticed a group of Middle Eastern guys.

“One broke away and grabbed me. He pushed me against a wall, stuck a knife to my throat and shouted, ‘Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t kill you.’

“I started hyperventilating, which seemed to excite the other guys. They started laughing.

“Another one took this blade out and ran it across my face. The first guy kept telling me I was the reason his brother was in hospital. I kept saying I had no idea what they were talking about but they told me to shut up.

“I was completely terrified. I could feel them getting off on my fear but I couldn’t stop it. I closed my eyes and then I heard this woman I know running at me with her security. The gang legged it.”

He added: “Australia was a very bad place for me at the time. I’d gone from being this golden boy to a hate figure. I was getting death threats, people were texting me with my parents’ address saying, ‘Say goodbye to them.’ It was horrendous.

“What happened after that was one panic attack after another. Crippling, terrifying. It got so extreme I was having up to 20 panic attacks a day. I couldn’t cope. I couldn’t work. I didn’t know what to do.

“I ended up checking myself into a psychiatric ward in New York. I spent two weeks there going to group therapy, talking to people. I was then discharged and put on seriously strong medication, which actually made me worse. It was a really bad time.”

Peter Andre has admitted that he tries not to think about sex, as his current lack of it frustrates him too much.

Peter told new! magazine: “I don’t really want to talk about sex, to be honest. It’ll make me frustrated!

“I was talking to Alexandra Burke about this when I interviewed her when I was filling in for Paul O’Grady last week.

“She says that people think she’s boring because she’s just focusing on her work, but I said I could totally relate to that.

“I know people think it’s dull that I’m all about my work and kids, but I honestly haven’t got time to think about sex.

“Well, it’s not that I don’t think about it, but I don’t dwell on it!”
