On last night’s Piers Morgan Life Stories uncut, Dannii revealed that she was once a victim of a media HIV blackmail plot.

According to Minogue, a journalist sent her flowers and a note which read: “We have tried to contact you to speak to you with no luck, and if you don’t speak to us, we have it on good authority that you’re HIV positive and we’re running the headline.”

The singer explained: “I drove down to my doctor’s office, sat there, put my arm out and said, ‘I need this test done immediately,’ and all I could do was have this piece of paper slapped on their desk to say, ‘No I’m not HIV positive, there is no story’ – and it quickly and quietly went away.”

She continued: “I didn’t know why someone would be kind of on my case about something like this. I had been working for an AIDS charity, the Terence Higgins Trust. Not many people want to be involved with charities like that, because they want to be involved with the cuddly, nice charities, and this is kind of heavy real-life stuff.”

I have developed a newfound respect for X Factor judge after watching her on Piers Morgan Life Stories last Saturday. She has suffered quite a few knockbacks in life, and yet continues to appear with more dignity than most other celebrity figures we are exposed to. Go Dannii!

Dannii Minogue has admitted that she was delighted to take part in ITV’s Piers Morgan’s Life Stories.

Dannii filmed her interview for the show last Thursday and can expect to see it air within the next few weeks.

Writing on Twitter, Minogue explained: “I think he gives me an amazing opportunity to speak. Mostly I never say anything, so it has been a long time coming!”

Piers Morgan has revealed that Susan Boyle was incredibly nervous about her appearance on America’s Got Talent last month.

Morgan told The Mail On Sunday: “Susan, despite what some people seem to think, is a very funny, quick-witted lady. But like a lot of performers, she gets incredibly nervous before big performances. And she was today.

“‘It’s a bit daunting,’ she admitted, ‘thinking of so many people watching me sing here for the first time’.'Barbra Streisand apparently throws up before every show,’ I reassured her.”

He continued: “Later her nerves worsened, so Sharon Osbourne went up and calmed her down brilliantly. ‘What did you say?’ I asked.

“[Sharon told me], ‘I just looked her in the eye and said – Susan, you’re a winner, not a loser, and you’re a fighter like me, so get out there and show them all what you can do!’”

Morgan concluded: “In the end, none of us needed to worry about Susan Boyle. From the moment the studio lights dimmed and she walked out to the microphone, the place erupted.

“And her rendition of the Rolling Stones’ ‘Wild Horses’ was so technically perfect, and so hauntingly beautiful, that it gave me the chills.”

Britain’s Got Talent judge, Piers Morgan has claimed that he deserves “every penny” of his current ITV contract. He added that he actually thinks he deserves a raise next year.

“I’ve got no problem if they take it away from somebody else who feels guilty about this type of thing, because I have absolutely no guilt issues about my salary whatsoever,” he told The Sun.

“I think it’s time the talent fall back and go, ‘Hang on a second, without us, you don’t have networks’.”

Morgan learned his haggling skills from BBC presenter Anne Robinson.

“She said always at least double the money you are really earning whenever you are asked about it in interviews, because then everyone thinks you are incredibly expensive and starts to pay you accordingly,” said the former tabloid journalist.

Amanda Holden has asked why Piers Morgan is a judge on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, saying that he isn’t properly qualified for the job.

The up her own arse actress, told thelondonpaper that she is the only one on the panel with real auditioning experience.

Holden said: “I’ve always said, out of the judges, I’m the only one who has auditioned for a panel or a crowd of people. When I see the contestants, I look at these people and I remember that feeling, having that dream.

Piers Morgan has admitted that he admires Mariah Carey and thinks that she has earned the right to behave like a diva.

Mariah recently kept the staff of America’s Got Talent up all night, as she perfected her three minute segment for the show.

He told the Daily Mail: “Mariah’s the wife of our new host, Nick Cannon, and it was not difficult to see why she is the most successful solo female recording artist in history.

“She’s such a perfectionist that we were all in the studio until nearly midnight as she planned her three-minute appearance, right down to the detail of lighting, sound and camera angles.

“And work with producers in the editing suite apparently continued to 6am until she was absolutely happy.”

He added: “Mariah has a reputation as a bit of a diva. But like most other divas in musical history – from Piaf to Whitney Houston, Diana Ross to Madonna – that’s primarily because she’ll do whatever it takes, however long it takes, to get things as good as they can be. Which is why she has sold 200 million albums.

“‘I don’t think anyone knows as much about what’s right for me as I do,’ she once said. A pretty good maxim to have in showbusiness.”

Piers Morgan has revealed that he refused to wait for Lady Gaga when she was late for an interview with him.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge told the Daily Mail that he refused to waste his holiday time waiting about for the ‘Poker Face’ singer.

Morgan said: “Taking half a day off my holiday to interview the ludicrously named Lady GaGa, only to discover that the little madam had stood me up.

“When will she deign to be here?’ I asked her hapless PR man from Polydor Records, who had confirmed at least ten times in the previous week that she would arrive at the agreed time. [He said:] ‘Erm, I’m not sure – at least an hour, maybe two…’”

Morgan added: “‘Goodbye,’ I replied. I’d wait for Mandela, the Queen, the Pope and Freddie Flintoff. But not for someone called GaGa.”

Piers Morgan has admitted that he doesn’t like Russell Brand’s style of comedy and described the comedian as “disgusting”.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge admitted that he ‘doesn’t get’ Brand’s appeal.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Morgan commented: “That whole Russell Brand thing, I don’t get it. The idea that he is some huge international acting star is ridiculous!

“He’s just a long-haired ex-junkie and sh***ing addict. I just don’t get it. Why does everyone find someone that disgusting so attractive? It’s just extraordinary.”

Asked which other celebs irritate him, he replied: “Take your pick. Jonathan Ross, Chris Moyles, that whole crowd.”

Piers Morgan has been gushing about Britain’s Got Talent star, Susan Boyle and insisting that she is still a global superstar.

The show judge told talkSPORT: “Susan’s great. You talk about celebrities, my God, I was in Las Vegas about three, four weeks ago and literally landed at the airport, got in a cab and the cab driver looked at me in his rear view mirror and his opening line was ‘How’s Susan?’. Now that is true global celebrity.

“I’m going back to America for America’s Got Talent on Sunday for two months and out there she is about as big a star as this country has produced over there in 20 years. It’s quite amazing.”

Amanda Holden has hit out at fellow Britain’s Got talent judge Piers Morgan for the way he treated Katie Price during a recent interview.

Holden believes that Morgan acted ungraciously when he called Katie Price a slapper, I think normal people call that honesty.

Holden told the News Of The World: “I’ve just been watching Piers’s interview with Katie Price and was shocked when he called her a slapper. I know he’s not frightened of asking provocative questions, but he’s supposed to be her friend and was so ungracious.

“I know from my own experience how if everyone’s telling you to not go out, you think: ‘Why the bloody hell should I be dictated to?’ I can understand that she’s in a lot of pain and does stupid stuff when she’s hurting.”

She added: “If she was a man she wouldn’t get half the grief she’s getting for being forthright and outspoken. I’m going to slap Piers’s podgy bottom when I see him!”

Isn’t it nice to see all these adulteress slappers sticking together? Proves there is such a thing as female solidarity.

Of course when Amanda talks about her ‘own experience’, she is of course talking about the time when she cheated on her husband Les Dennis. Though she may complain about the hard time the press gave her over that incident, she really should be happy it happened. After all, without those headlines she never stood a cat in hells chance of becoming a household name.
