Pimp My Ride UK – the number one car modification show – returns exclusively to MTV with a blinging new series on Sunday 8th April at 9:30pm.

Tim Westwood is back in the driving seat, overseeing some of the biggest challenges the Carisma crew have faced yet.

The first episode of six, sees the Pimp team lending their talents to a worthy cause as they transform a group of elderly ladies’ rust encrusted mini bus into a luxurious coach cruiser complete with state of the art TV screens.

Further disasters the team encounter include one van aptly named ‘Toilet’ by its owner! Another pitiful vehicle is in such bad shape the exhaust is virtually non-existent and the dashboard has been removed.

Can Westwood and the Pimp team save these loveable old bangers from the scrapheap?

MTV Networks UK & Ireland today announced the return of its hugely successful car-makeover series, Pimp My Ride UK. Now in its 3rd run, the show will air on Sunday April 8th at 9.30pm with a Comic Relief Red Nose Day episode, entitled ‘Pimp My Red Nose Ride’, featuring Tim Westwood and some very special VIPs.

Comic Relief’s ‘Pimp My Red Nose Ride’ will feature an extra-special vehicle transformation that will provide the MTV mechanics with their biggest challenge to date. Tim Westwood will host an ultra-special Pimp My Ride as part of this year’s Comic Relief Red Nose Day.

The Big Dog will front ‘Pimp My Red Nose Ride’ – complete with comedy proboscis – as part of the celebrations. And it will be his biggest pimping job yet.

The dazzling results will be revealed live on Red Nose night on March 16 on BBC1.

The full episode of ‘Pimp My Red Nose Ride’, including Westwood behind the scenes at Comic Relief, will be shown on MTV on Easter Sunday (April and launches series three of the show.

Meanwhile this year’s Red Nose Day is being labelled as ‘THE BIG ONE’ with the biggest ever red noses going on sale in Sainsbury’s and Oxfam outlets now.
