Big Brother: Lisa & Mario Think Rachel Is On A Secret Task

Big Brother’s big couple came to the diary room to find out if trainee teacher, Rachel, is on a secret task.

It seems that over the last few days Rachel has tried to reach out to the couple, but of course they took this as flirting and have come to the conclusion that either Rachel is on a secret task to flirt with Mario, or else she genuinely fancies him. Eugh!

Lisa began: “We’re starting to get a bit suspicious about Rachel. Wherever we go, Rachel goes. We could be having a bath, and Rachel’s there. I just think it’s a bit odd, and there’s a lot of intensity there.”

“Either she’s up for a task or she’s doing a massive flirt at myself,” suggested Mario. “But I think she’s probably doing a task.” Read more & comment »

Big Brother 2008: Watch The Housmates In Their Lightbulb Task

Yesterday the Big Brother housemates were assigned their first task. They each had to hold a light switch and light above their head. By holding the switch they ensure the light remains off. It doesn’t look that hard, but it seems that Stephanie isn’t very good at tasks!

Watch this clip and see just how long she was able to hold the switch for. Was she even trying?

Thankfully it seems like Dennis and Rachel have a bit more staying power!

As a prize for winning the task, the pair won a picnic in the garden consisting of cookies, ham, cheese, real butter, grapes, strawberries and french bread.

Big Brother 2008: Rachel

Rachel is a former child actor, who featured alongside Hugh Grant in the film Night Train to Venice when she was eight years old. Filming in Rome, she says Grant even organised her eighth birthday party. Rachel went on to perform in three other films and over 20 commercials, but eventually stopped acting because she says she had to choose between acting and education, and Hugh Grant suggested she get her qualifications first.

A fitness fanatic, Rachel trains at the gym five times a week and runs 10 miles a week. She believes people should eat more healthily, and that the government needs to reduce the price of fruit and get rid of ready meals so people will be encouraged to cook and eat more healthily.
