The Apprentice 2011: Raef Bjayou hopes Tom Pellereau wins this year’s contest

The PA report today that former Apprentice star Raef Bjayou has said he hopes “nice guy” Tom Pellereau wins this year’s competition.

Raef made his remarks to the press while attending the opening night of a new run of Yes, Prime Minister in London’s West End.

He said, “I thought Melody was going to win but she’s obviously been ousted, so I’m going to go for the wild card – Tom the inventor.

“It’s a shock he’s still in, but he’s in for a reason. Lord Sugar likes the fact he’s going to perhaps give a man £250,000 to create a James Dyson-style range of products.”

Raef went on to say that he thinks that the BBC1 show, now in its seventh series, has “lost a bit of its lustre” but he added that it was “still good”. Read more & comment »

The Apprentice: Raef Bjayou’s Goes Bust

The Apprentice is about to kick off again this week but one man who didn’t seem to learn much from the experience is last years candidate Raef Bjayou.

The Mirror is carrying a story today saying that Bjayou’s company has gone to the wall despite claims last year that it was worth £2 million.

They claim that according to documents filed to Companies House the company has now stopped trading for good.

Raef Bjayou For Dancing On Ice 2008

Apprentice reject, Raef Bjayou, has been tipped for this years Dancing On Ice extravaganza.

Apparently Raef tried out for the show earlier this month and amused producers by performing in a full suit and cravat.

“He was hilarious and proved to be a big hit,” an insider told the Daily Star Sunday. “Most people turn up to train in professional gear – but Raef proved a bit different. He’s now a hot favourite to take part.”

Raef Bjayou is a 27 year old Entrepreneur from North West London. Raef is a highly motivated and ambitious individual with first- hand experience of dealing with clients in sales both home and abroad.

A former School Captain, he founded the Exeter University Debating Society and claims to “have never lost an argument” yet. Raef has “faced death in the face many times”. He even once asked Michael Heseltine a question on Question Time and was “surprised by the ignorance of his answer”. He is a Company Director of an import, export business that specialises in products that are not available in the UK.
