Randy Jackson thinks a girl will win this year’s American Idol. The judge said that the female auditionees were stronger this year and thinks that they were more prepared than the boys.
“I think a girl’s gonna take it,” he told MTV News. “I think the talent’s bigger this season with the girls. I think they came in better, more prepared and they probably were at home saying, ‘God, every season a boy wins. What happened to the girls?’ [Last season] Alison Iraheta was a great singer. She’s got a great voice. She’s got a big career ahead of her.”

If I were Simon’s girlfriend Terri I would be getting worried! Not only did Simon pick his ex-girlfriend Sinitta to judge the new ITV show, Britain’s Got Talent, but The News Of The World has revealed that he has also asked her to fill Louis Walsh’s shoes as the fourth judge on the X Factor.
Sinitta revealed to the News Of The World, “He’s given the authorities an amazing insight into what I’m about.
“I do feel bad because Louis is a close friend, but he is not on the show any more and that’s not my fault.
“I’m the rightful new judge because I’ve been groomed for the job.”
So the judges lineup will be as follows, Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Sharon Osbourne and Sinitta. To me that seems a lot more balanced. I think ITV had to shake the panel up after the amount of complaints last year about bitchery between Simon and Louis. I hope that the judges this year are more fair and balanced and not just out to get one another.

American Idol judge, Randy Jackson has admitted to The Sun today that he has been asked to replace Louis Walsh as a judge in this years X Factor series.
The record producer and former singer confessed: “I’d love to do it. I can’t wait to come to London. It will be a fantastic opportunity.”
Randy, who is currently discussing terms with Cowell in LA, said: “I love working with Simon. We’re great friends.”
I think Simon has gotten this one just right. Randy is great on American Idol, honest without being brutal and he has a fantastic sense of humour. Great choice…now who will number four be?
