Big Brother celebrates its tenth anniversary on the 18th July, so this week becomes a commemoration of some of the best tasks and moments of the show over the last ten years.

This week’s Task runs across four days, with Housemates playing to win a luxury food budget for the next week. Housemates must succeed in seven of the nine challenges in order to successfully pass the shopping task and receive a luxury budget of £5 per head per day for the next week.

According to the Daily Star, BB9’s Rex Newmark and his girlfriend Nicole Cammack have split up.

Nicole, who surprised Rex by becoming a BB9 housemate is said to have been the one who called off their relationship.

“Everyone saw in the house that they can’t help but fight all the time,” a source told the newspaper, adding:

“It got more intense after the show and the rows were getting bigger and bigger until Nicole said enough was enough. She still cares for him but whether they remain friends is another matter altogether.” Read more & comment »

Former Big Brother housemate, Rex Newmark, was reportedly involved in a fist fight last weekend in a soho nightclub.

A fellow clubber named Kelly O’Brien told The Daily Star: “I was scared. He turned into an animal,” she said. “There was a group of five nice guys nearby, who we had been enjoying a friendly conversation with before Rex came along.

“Once Rex realised we weren’t interested in him, he just went over and started punching one of them.

“He flipped. I don’t know where Rex had been earlier, but he seemed pretty drunk… He caught one of the guys, whose name was John, between the eyes and blood started pouring out.”

O’Brien described the executive chef as “arrogant and obnoxious”.

“My top was a little low-cut and Rex said: ‘I see you have your t*ts out tonight’,” she commented. “I was insulted and replied: ‘You’re gross.’

Big Brother couple, Rex and Nicole, certainly seem to have a heated relationship and it has been reported that after the pair rowed yet again at the BB wrap party, Nicole stormed off and Rex spent the night with Stephanie.

‘Rex woke up with Steph yesterday after spending the night with her. He didn’t want to be with Nicole after they had another row,’ reveals a pal of Steph’s to the Daily Star.

Former Big Brother housemate, Rex Newmark has admitted that he did cheat on his girlfriend Nicole on a recent trip to America.

He told OK: “I was on holiday with pals and had too many shandies. I ended up at a lapdancing club. My pal ended up sleeping with one dancer. I didn’t sleep with anyone, though.

“I was drunk when a lapdancer approached me, wrapped her legs around me and kissed me.

“I have confessed all to Nicole and she has forgiven me. I’m sorry for what I have done.”

Big Brother’s first evictee, Stephanie, is rumoured to be planning to steal chef Rex Newmark from his girlfriend when he emerges from the BB house.

Stephanie is reported to have told The Daily Star: “Rex is my man. He and Nicole can’t stand each other.”

While fellow evictee Rebecca said that Steph has been getting cosy with Rex’s family in anticipation of his release:

Big Brother housemate, Nicole, has revealed that her controlling boyfriend, Rex Newmark has banned her from having any male friends.

When fellow housemate Sara asked Nicole if she ever argued with Rex she replied:

“Over petty things, he’s quite controlling – I don’t have any guy friends – all my friends I’ve had for years from school.”

To celebrate the appointment of Rex Newmark as the new Big Brother Head of House, for today’s task housemates must create Roman Mosaics in his image.

The mosaics will be constructed from masticated bubble gum.

The task will be carried out in pairs. These pairs will be decided by the Head of House. Housemates will have 2.5 hours in which to create their mosaics.

Big Brother will supply each pairing with a colour photograph and plan of the Head of House as well as a variety of different coloured bubble gums. Read more & comment »

An American beauty named Ashley Abbott has slammed Big Brother’s Rex Newmark as a cheating playboy.

She claims that she and Rex enjoyed numerous nights of passion duiring his recent holiday in LA and that he even offered her a summer job in his fathers up market eatery.

Ashley told The Sun: “Rex is a jerk. I trusted him and he betrayed me. I should have known he had a girlfriend.

“I hope he seeks professional help for his deceitful, womanising behaviour. He has no conscience.”

Another night, another drama in the Big Brother house! Last night saw Nicole storm out of the house after a fiery row with her boyfriend Rex.

Fans will know that Rex has been pushing Nicole all week, trying to find out what has been happening in the outside world. Last night Nicole caved and admitted that she knew about his secret trip to LA just before entering the house, the trip on which he supposedly bedded a stripper.

Rather than apologising for cheating and lying, Rex got angry with Nic and yelled at her to “shut up” saying she was making him look like an “idiot” on national television.

Big Brother housemate, Rex Newmark, plans to give up his job as a chef to pursue a career as a top model according to The Sun.

Rex apparently paid a large amount of money to get a professional portfolio done which he intends to punt around modelling agencies when he leaves the BB house.

A pal of the 24-year-old told The Sun: “Rex had the pictures taken in March, before he went in the house. But he wants to wait until he’s off the show before showing them to any agencies.

“He’s really thrilled with them — and thinks he looks amazing.

“He found a professional photographer and went to his studio in East London with all his favourite clothes for a two-hour session.

“He told me he was a bit nervous at first but he really got into posing.”

The source added: “Clothes are one of his all-time passions. He wouldn’t be seen dead in anything that wasn’t fashionable. Versace and Hugo Boss are among his favourite labels. Read more & comment »

Lots of people have been speaking out against Rex today for hiding on Mikey while he tried to get him out of bed and stop the annoying Big Brother alarm.

I know it did seem quite cruel to see Mikey feeling his way around the room while Rex rolled around and curled at the side of the bed, laughing at Mikey’s rants.

However, was I the only person that found the incident even slightly amusing? Really? Did no-one else have even a bit of a giggle while Rex avoided detection?

And why was Mikey wearing that big blanket on his head? Was that some kind of weird fashion statement?

On Thursday Rex took charge of the housemates shopping budget and requested 57 of Big Brother’s ever changing special prizes. 56 of those special prizes were delivered to the house. However the 57th will arrive during the second Big Brother show, in the form of Rex’s girlfriend, Nicole.

19-year-old Nicole has already caused a stir in the house during this week’s shopping task, when Luke and Lisa didn’t correctly identify her in the suspect’s line-up.

Big Brother housemate, Lisa Appleton, has lashed out at chef, Rex Newmark after he got angry with the group for wrongly identifying his girlfriend.

She said: “You won’t say anything when Mario’s here, but you’ll say it when he’s not here.

“You’re a bully and you know it.

“You get away with murder – but you won’t get away with it with me.”

Big Brother housemates will face yet another week living on basic rations as they manage to fail their latest task.

Luke and Lisa failed to pick Rex’s girlfriend out from a line up, Dale, Darnell and Maysoon failed to decipher a mathematical code to crack a safe and the Big Brother cops identified Dale and maysoon as the thieves of the missing BB token.

To make things worse, Rex has taken charge of this weeks shopping list and has spent only £20 on food, wasting the other £57 on tokens. I bet the housemates will be thrilled.
