Big Brother celebrates its tenth anniversary on the 18th July, so this week becomes a commemoration of some of the best tasks and moments of the show over the last ten years.

This week’s Task runs across four days, with Housemates playing to win a luxury food budget for the next week. Housemates must succeed in seven of the nine challenges in order to successfully pass the shopping task and receive a luxury budget of £5 per head per day for the next week.

BB9 – BUZZ with Rex

Today, Marcus is going up against BB9’s Rex in the electrifying task from last year’s show, the steady hand challenge. They must both negotiate a copper wire course, set up in the garden, without allowing the wand to touch the wire. Each time the wand touches the wire, all BB10 Housemates apart from Marcus will receive a mild electric shock and whichever competitor is negotiating the course must return to the beginning. Rex and Marcus have one hour each to complete the course and, to win the challenge, Marcus must successfully negotiate the buzz course in a faster time than Rex. If either Rex or Marcus does not complete the course, their attempt will be judged on the furthest distance they achieve.

Each BB10 Housemate that wears their muscle simulator pads and shiny suits for the duration of the challenge will win a token. If Marcus successfully completes the course he will also receive one token.
Earlier Marcus was waiting by the bus stop in the garden as Big Brother announced for Rex to enter the garden. Rex introduced himself to Marcus and comments “you finally got to wear your X-Men outfit.” Marcus took this in good spirit and laughed. Rex went over to the window to greet fellow housemates who all waved and cheered.

Marcus told Rex that he had promised his mates that he would “punch” him if they ever met and play-punched Rex in the stomach. Marcus asks him various questions and Rex keeps quiet but tells him to “keep on” where Noirin is concerned. Marcus smiled.

As Rex began the task Marcus tells him not to “f**k up” and hints that he and his fellow housemates have no food. It’s not long before some of the housemates scream as Rex begins his part of the task – badly – clearly enjoying himself as they shrieked and screamed with each shock.

According to the Daily Star, BB9’s Rex Newmark and his girlfriend Nicole Cammack have split up.

Nicole, who surprised Rex by becoming a BB9 housemate is said to have been the one who called off their relationship.

“Everyone saw in the house that they can’t help but fight all the time,” a source told the newspaper, adding:

“It got more intense after the show and the rows were getting bigger and bigger until Nicole said enough was enough. She still cares for him but whether they remain friends is another matter altogether.”

Shortly after this year’s Big Brother ended, Rex confessed to cheating on the 19-year-old with a lapdancer however the reason for their split hasn’t yet been made public.

Former Big Brother housemate, Rex Newmark, was reportedly involved in a fist fight last weekend in a soho nightclub.

A fellow clubber named Kelly O’Brien told The Daily Star: “I was scared. He turned into an animal,” she said. “There was a group of five nice guys nearby, who we had been enjoying a friendly conversation with before Rex came along.

“Once Rex realised we weren’t interested in him, he just went over and started punching one of them.

“He flipped. I don’t know where Rex had been earlier, but he seemed pretty drunk… He caught one of the guys, whose name was John, between the eyes and blood started pouring out.”

O’Brien described the executive chef as “arrogant and obnoxious”.

“My top was a little low-cut and Rex said: ‘I see you have your t*ts out tonight’,” she commented. “I was insulted and replied: ‘You’re gross.’

“But that got his back up and it just made him more persistent.

“He boasted that he drove a Range Rover Sport and that his sequined top was worth £7,000. He was so arrogant and obnoxious, I tried to pull one of the sequins off.”

Photographer David Abiaw commented saw the fight outside the club, he commented: “I didn’t see how it started, but I saw Rex arguing and screaming abuse, then throwing a punch.

“They were all rolling around on the floor, wrestling and kicking. One guy’s friends, some bystanders and bouncers tried to pull him off and stop Rex fighting their friend.”

He continued: “It was a messy fight. One of the friends of the guy Rex appeared to be fighting with tried to stop him with a right hook.

“It kept breaking up, then they’d start fighting again. Rex even took his belt off and threatened to hit anybody who came near him.”

Big Brother couple, Rex and Nicole, certainly seem to have a heated relationship and it has been reported that after the pair rowed yet again at the BB wrap party, Nicole stormed off and Rex spent the night with Stephanie.

‘Rex woke up with Steph yesterday after spending the night with her. He didn’t want to be with Nicole after they had another row,’ reveals a pal of Steph’s to the Daily Star.

‘After being locked up in the house for so long he wanted to let his hair down. Everyone was really enjoying themselves and carried on drinking back at the hotel after the wrap party ended.

‘Rex and Steph were getting along like a house on fire and the sexual tension was there to see. Steph’s boasted that she kisses and fumbled with Rex but they definitely didn’t have sex.’

Former Big Brother housemate, Rex Newmark has admitted that he did cheat on his girlfriend Nicole on a recent trip to America.

He told OK: “I was on holiday with pals and had too many shandies. I ended up at a lapdancing club. My pal ended up sleeping with one dancer. I didn’t sleep with anyone, though.

“I was drunk when a lapdancer approached me, wrapped her legs around me and kissed me.

“I have confessed all to Nicole and she has forgiven me. I’m sorry for what I have done.”

Big Brother’s first evictee, Stephanie, is rumoured to be planning to steal chef Rex Newmark from his girlfriend when he emerges from the BB house.

Stephanie is reported to have told The Daily Star: “Rex is my man. He and Nicole can’t stand each other.”

While fellow evictee Rebecca said that Steph has been getting cosy with Rex’s family in anticipation of his release:

She told the newspaper: “It’s a bit strange because she has been spending pretty much every night with Rex’s friends and family ever since she left the house.

“She called me the other day and said she was in Rex’s room! She had gone out with Rex’s dad the night before and stayed at their house.”

Big Brother housemate, Nicole, has revealed that her controlling boyfriend, Rex Newmark has banned her from having any male friends.

When fellow housemate Sara asked Nicole if she ever argued with Rex she replied:

“Over petty things, he’s quite controlling – I don’t have any guy friends – all my friends I’ve had for years from school.”

Sara continued “Do you not even see them any more?”

She replied: “I’m not allowed, I don’t really have any friends any more.”

That’s the problem with having an older, richer and arrogant boyfriend!

To celebrate the appointment of Rex Newmark as the new Big Brother Head of House, for today’s task housemates must create Roman Mosaics in his image.

The mosaics will be constructed from masticated bubble gum.

The task will be carried out in pairs. These pairs will be decided by the Head of House. Housemates will have 2.5 hours in which to create their mosaics.

Big Brother will supply each pairing with a colour photograph and plan of the Head of House as well as a variety of different coloured bubble gums.

As Head of House, Rex will not take part in the task but will be required to judge the final mosaics on their similarities to himself.

The winning pair will be rewarded with a special prize.

An American beauty named Ashley Abbott has slammed Big Brother’s Rex Newmark as a cheating playboy.

She claims that she and Rex enjoyed numerous nights of passion duiring his recent holiday in LA and that he even offered her a summer job in his fathers up market eatery.

Ashley told The Sun: “Rex is a jerk. I trusted him and he betrayed me. I should have known he had a girlfriend.

“I hope he seeks professional help for his deceitful, womanising behaviour. He has no conscience.”

Another night, another drama in the Big Brother house! Last night saw Nicole storm out of the house after a fiery row with her boyfriend Rex.

Fans will know that Rex has been pushing Nicole all week, trying to find out what has been happening in the outside world. Last night Nicole caved and admitted that she knew about his secret trip to LA just before entering the house, the trip on which he supposedly bedded a stripper.

Rather than apologising for cheating and lying, Rex got angry with Nic and yelled at her to “shut up” saying she was making him look like an “idiot” on national television.

“You f****** knew exactly what you were doing,” he screamed. “You were doing it to make me look bad!”

The row went on and on and culminated in Nicole leaving the house. In the end producers talked her into returning, but after a heart to heart with Rex, she ended up apologising and asking for forgiveness….for what I do not know!

What a pity Rexsn’t up this Friday night. I doubt even he could survive this drama!
