Brucie’s back! And The Fonz is there too! But Ianade are out So, so gutted for Jade and Ian – they’ve really grown on me and I was so looking forward to everything else they would bring us. They may come back and dance the tango in the final if Jade’s fit enough! For now though, we say farewell to one of the potential finalists but … the show must go on!
Strictly come Dancing competitor, Ricky Groves has been having problems remembering to smile when practicing his dances this week.
He say’s it’s because he spent 9 years in EastEnders playing hapless Garry Hobbs where his character was was usually down on his luck and therefore never had much to smile about.
He’d better master the art of grinning like an idiot by Saturday!
Strictly Come Dancing contestant Ricky Groves has sustained his first dancing related injury.
The former Eastenders actor developed tendonitis, which has forced him to stop rehearsing for the upcoming launch show.
But fear not, Ricky is not about to drop out, a friend told The Mirror: “There’s no chance of him quitting the show – he’s looking forward to it too much.”
EastEnders actor Ricky Groves has revealed his cunning plan to help him win this years Strictly Come Dancing. He is going to work on making people smile, because you know the cute and funny bloke, always wins more votes.
The 41-year-old, also takes comfort in the success of previous Eastenders stars on the BBC dancing show.
“Yeah! You’ve got Jill Halfpenny (who played Kate Mitchell) who won it and Chris (Parker, who played Spencer Moon), who was second, and then also, you’ve got the tragedies as well,” he told the Press Associaton.
“You’ve got Phil Daniels (Kevin Wicks) who went out last year first – you’ve got the ups and downs so hopefully, I’m an entertainer and dancing being a form of entertainment, I’ll put a few smiles on people’s faces.”
